Abstract
【解決手段】 塞栓コイル等の血管閉塞装置は、上記コイルから延在するトロンボゲン形成性線維を有しており、上記塞栓コイルの側部に沿って上記線維をカプセル化および平坦化する外部バリアを有している。外部バリアは、その外部バリアが溶解されるか、あるいは塞栓コイルから除去されるまで、上記コイルの活性化を阻止するものである。

Description
この発明は、移植可能な医療装置に関するものであり、より詳細には、動脈瘤を閉塞するための塞栓コイル等の血管閉塞装置に関するものである。この血管閉塞装置は、この閉塞装置上に配置されかつ血液等の体組織と反応し、血管閉塞装置に向けて組織成長を促進するトロンボゲン形成性線維等の構造要素を含むものである。
(1)血管閉塞装置であって、支持部材と、この支持部材上に設けられかつ第1の非拘束姿勢と第2の拘束姿勢を有する複数のトロンボゲン形成性線維と、この複数のトロンボゲン形成性線維にわたって配されかつ上記第2の拘束姿勢で上記トロンボゲン形成性線維を常に拘束する外部バリアを含み、上記外部バリアは、体液に曝されたときに溶解特性を示し、これにより上記トロンボゲン形成性線維を放出し、上記トロンボゲン形成性線維が上記第1の非拘束姿勢に戻ることを可能にし、これにより組織成長をもたらすために体液と反応する血管閉塞装置。
(2)上記支持部材は、血管閉塞性の塞栓コイルである、実施態様1記載の血管閉塞装置。
(3)上記支持部材は、螺旋巻型の金属コイルの形態をとる、実施態様2記載の血管閉塞装置。
(4)上記線維は、上記支持部材の表面から外方へ常に延在している、実施態様1記載の血管閉塞装置。
(5)上記外部バリアは、上記支持部材の表面に沿って平坦な形状で複数の線維を保持する、実施態様4記載の血管閉塞装置。
(7)上記支持部材は、血管閉塞性の塞栓コイルである、実施態様6記載の血管閉塞装置。
(8)上記支持部材は、螺旋巻型の金属コイルの形態をとる、実施態様7記載の血管閉塞装置。
(9)上記外部バリアは、上記血栓誘導部材に塗布される被覆の形態をとる、実施態様6記載の血管閉塞装置。
(10)上記血栓誘導部材は、線維を含む、実施態様6記載の血管閉塞装置。
(12)上記血栓誘導部材は、生体吸収性線維を含む、実施態様10記載の血管閉塞装置。
(13)血管閉塞装置であって、支持部材と、この支持部材上に設けられかつ第1の非拘束姿勢と第2の拘束姿勢を有する血栓誘導部材と、この血栓誘導部材上に配されかつ上記第2の拘束姿勢で上記血栓誘導部材を常に拘束する外部バリアを含み、上記外部バリアは、体液に対して実質的に不活性な特性を示すが、外部因子に曝されたときに溶解し、これにより上記血栓誘導部材を放出しかつ露出させる血管閉塞装置。
(14)上記支持部材は、血管閉塞性の塞栓コイルである、実施態様13記載の血管閉塞装置。
(15)上記支持部材は、螺旋巻型の金属コイルの形態をとる、実施態様14記載の血管閉塞装置。
(17)上記血栓誘導部材は、ナイロン線維を含む、実施態様13記載の血管閉塞装置。
(18)上記血栓誘導部材は、ナイロン線維を含む、実施態様16記載の血管閉塞装置。
(19)上記外部バリアは、エチレンアルコールで構成されている、実施態様13記載の血管閉塞装置。

Claims (9)
- 血管閉塞装置であって、支持部材と、この支持部材上に設けられかつ第1の非拘束姿勢と第2の拘束姿勢を有する複数のトロンボゲン形成性線維と、この複数のトロンボゲン形成性線維にわたって配されかつ上記第2の拘束姿勢で上記トロンボゲン形成性線維を常に拘束する外部バリアを含み、上記外部バリアは、体液に曝されたときに溶解特性を示し、これにより上記トロンボゲン形成性線維を放出し、上記トロンボゲン形成性線維が上記第1の非拘束姿勢に戻ることを可能にし、これにより組織成長をもたらすために体液と反応する血管閉塞装置。
- 血管閉塞装置であって、支持部材と、この支持部材上に配されかつ第1の非拘束姿勢と第2の拘束姿勢を有する血栓誘導部材と、この血栓誘導部材上に配されかつ上記第2の拘束姿勢で上記血栓誘導部材を常に拘束する外部バリアを含み、上記外部バリアは、体液に曝されたときに溶解特性を示し、これにより上記血栓誘導部材を放出し、上記血栓誘導部材が上記第1の非拘束姿勢に戻ることを可能にし、これにより組織成長をもたらすために体液と反応する血管閉塞装置。
- 血管閉塞装置であって、支持部材と、この支持部材上に設けられかつ第1の非拘束姿勢と第2の拘束姿勢を有する血栓誘導部材と、この血栓誘導部材上に配されかつ上記第2の拘束姿勢で上記血栓誘導部材を常に拘束する外部バリアを含み、上記外部バリアは、体液に対して実質的に不活性な特性を示すが、外部因子に曝されたときに溶解し、これにより上記血栓誘導部材を放出しかつ露出させる血管閉塞装置。
- 上記支持部材は、血管閉塞性の塞栓コイルである、請求項3記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 上記支持部材は、螺旋巻型の金属コイルの形態をとる、請求項4記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 上記外部バリアは、上記血栓誘導部材に塗布される被覆の形態をとる、請求項3記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 上記血栓誘導部材は、ナイロン線維を含む、請求項3記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 上記血栓誘導部材は、ナイロン線維を含む、請求項6記載の血管閉塞装置。
- 上記外部バリアは、エチレンアルコールで構成されている、請求項3記載の血管閉塞装置。
