Abstract
使い捨ておむつなどが連続した連続する軟質ワークにシール部を形成する装置では、ホーンに対してアンビルを接離させる機構が複雑であった。
【解決手段】
ドラム5と回転ベース6とが一緒に回転させられると、回転ベース6の外周部に揺動自在に設けられた揺動支持部材9のフォロワー10aが、カム部材15のカム溝15cに案内され、揺動支持部材9が揺動して、回転ドラム5が所定の回転位置に至ったときに、揺動支持部材9に支持されているアンビル14がホーン8に圧接し、さらに他の回転位置で、アンビル14がホーン8から離れる。揺動支持部材9の揺動動作でアンビル14を動作させているため、全体の動作が簡潔であり、またホーン8とアンビル14とで連続する軟質ワークが確実に挟持されるようになる。

Description
前記シール機構では、前記第1の挟持部材が前記回転部の回転中心側に位置してそのシール対向面が前記回転中心からの法線方向の外側に向けられており、それぞれの第1の挟持部材に対応する前記第2の挟持部材が、前記第1の挟持部材よりも法線方向の外側に配置されているとともに、前記第2の挟持部材は、そのシール対向面が第1の挟持部材の前記シール対向面に向けて加圧される挟持位置と、前記第1の挟持部材から離れる退避位置とへ回動できるように前記回転部に支持されており、
前記回転部が回転する際に前記所定の範囲で、前記第2の挟持部材を前記挟持位置へ回動させるとともに、少なくとも前記シール機構への前記軟質ワークの供給部および前記シール機構からの前記軟質ワークの排出部で、前記第2の挟持部材を前記退避位置へ回動させる揺動駆動手段が設けられていることを特徴とするものである。
前記第2の挟持部材は、支持部材に弾性部材を介して支持されて、前記第2の挟持部材が前記弾性部材で発揮される弾性力によって前記第1の挟持部材に向けて加圧されるものであり、前記弾性部材は、変形可能なケーシング内に、流体が入れられたものであることを特徴とするものである。
前記第2の挟持部材を弾性部材を介して前記第1の挟持部材へ向けて押圧し、このときの前記弾性部材として、変形可能なケーシング内に流体が入れられたものを使用することを特徴とするものである。
この場合に、複数の弾性部材の内部の圧力を個別に設定することができる。

図2に示すように、前記連続する軟質ワーク30は、供給部(i)に設けられた供給ロール21に巻き掛けられて、前記回転ドラム5の外周面5Aに供給される。前記連続する軟質ワーク30は、回転ドラム5の外周面5A(さらに詳しくは外周面5Aから突出するホーン8のシール対向面8a)に対し、約180度の角度で巻き付けられ、排出部(ii)において前記回転ドラム5から離れ、排出ロール22の巻き掛けられて外部へ引き出される。
また、アンビルを加圧する弾性部材13がコイルスプリングなどであってもよい。

Claims (28)
- 回転部と、前記回転部を回転させる回転駆動手段と、前記回転部の回転方向に沿って配置された複数のシール機構とを有し、前記シール機構に軟質ワークを挟持して前記軟質ワークにシール部を形成する第1の挟持部材と第2の挟持部材とが設けられ、前記シール機構に供給される連続する軟質ワークが、前記シール機構の周回軌跡の所定範囲内で前記第1の挟持部材と第2の挟持部材とで挟持されてシール部が形成されるシール装置において、前記シール機構では、前記第1の挟持部材が前記回転部の回転中心側に位置してそのシール対向面が前記回転中心からの法線方向の外側に向けられており、それぞれの第1の挟持部材に対応する前記第2の挟持部材が、前記第1の挟持部材よりも法線方向の外側に配置されているとともに、前記第2の挟持部材は、そのシール対向面が第1の挟持部材の前記シール対向面に向けて加圧される挟持位置と、前記第1の挟持部材から離れる退避位置とへ回動できるように前記回転部に支持されており、前記回転部が回転する際に前記所定の範囲で、前記第2の挟持部材を前記挟持位置へ回動させるとともに、少なくとも前記シール機構への前記軟質ワークの供給部および前記シール機構からの前記軟質ワークの排出部で、前記第2の挟持部材を前記退避位置へ回動させる揺動駆動手段が設けられていることを特徴とするシール装置。
- 前記連続する軟質ワークは、少なくとも溶着可能なシートを有するものである請求項1記載のシール装置。
- 前記連続する軟質ワークは、その供給方向に間隔を開けて配置された液吸収体と、前記液吸収体を支持する溶着可能なシートとを有するものであり、前記液吸収体が前記シール機構とシール機構との間に位置した状態で、前記シートが重ねられた状態でシールされる請求項2記載のシール装置。
- 前記回転部には、回転ドラムが設けられ、前記第1の挟持部材は、前記回転ドラムの内側に配置されて前記第1の挟持部材のシール対向面が前記回転ドラムの外周面から突出する位置にある請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載のシール装置。
- 前記退避位置に回動したときの前記第2の挟持部材のシール対向面は、前記回転部の回転中心の軸に対してほぼ90度の角度まで回動させられる請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のシール装置。
- 前記揺動駆動手段として、前記回転部が対向する位置に固定されたカム軌跡が設けられ、前記回転部が回転する際に、前記カム軌跡に沿って移動し前記第2の挟持部材を前記挟持位置に回動させまた前記退避位置へ回動させるフォロワーが設けられている請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のシール装置。
- 前記カム軌跡は、前記回転部の回転中心の周囲全周を囲む連続カム溝である請求項6記載のシール装置。
- 前記フォロワーは、前記第2の挟持部材を支持する揺動支持部材に取り付けられており、前記フォロワーが前記カム軌跡に沿って移動することにより、前記揺動支持部材が前記挟持位置と前記退避位置へ回動させられる請求項6または7記載のシール装置。
- 前記第2の挟持部材を支持する揺動支持部材と前記フォロワーとの間にリンク機構が設けられており、前記フォロワーが前記カム軌跡に沿って移動する際に、前記リンク機構を介して前記揺動支持部材が前記挟持位置と前記退避位置へ回動させられる請求項6または7記載のシール装置。
- 前記回転部には、前記揺動軸によって揺動自在に支持された揺動支持部材が設けられ、前記第2の挟持部材は前記揺動支持部材に弾性部材を介して支持されており、前記第2の挟持部材が挟持位置に回動したときに、前記第2の挟持部材が前記弾性部材で発揮させる弾性力を介して第1の挟持部材へ向けて加圧される請求項1ないし9のいずれかに記載のシール装置。
- 溶着可能な軟質ワークを挟持してシール部を形成する第1の挟持部材および第2の挟持部材を有するシール機構と、前記第1の挟持部材と第2の挟持部材とで前記軟質ワークを挟持させまた前記第1の挟持部材と第2の挟持部材を離すように動作させる駆動手段とが設けられたシール装置において、前記第2の挟持部材は、支持部材に弾性部材を介して支持されて、前記第2の挟持部材が前記弾性部材で発揮される弾性力によって前記第1の挟持部材に向けて加圧されるものであり、前記弾性部材は、変形可能なケーシング内に、流体が入れられたものであることを特徴とするシール装置。
- 前記シール機構は、連続する軟質ワークの供給方向に向けて間隔を開けて複数設けられており、前記シール機構により前記連続する軟質ワークに供給方向へ間隔を開けて前記シール部が形成される請求項11記載のシール装置。
- 前記シール機構は、回転部にその回転方向へ間隔を開けて配置されており、前記回転部に前記連続する軟質ワークが供給され、前記回転部が回転する際に、複数の前記シール機構により順番に前記シール部が形成される請求項11または12記載のシール装置。
- 前記連続する軟質ワークは、その供給方向に間隔を開けて配置された液吸収体と、前記液吸収体を支持する溶着可能なシートとを有するものであり、前記液吸収体と液吸収体との間において前記シートが重ねられた状態でシールされる請求項11ないし13のいずれかに記載のシール装置。
- 前記ケーシング内の流体の圧力を変化させる圧力設定手段が設けられている請求項11ないし14のいずれかに記載のシール装置。
- 前記支持部材には、前記第2の挟持部材を支持する前記弾性部材が複数設けられている請求項11ないし14のいずれかに記載のシール装置。
- 複数の弾性部材のそれぞれのケーシング内の流体の圧力を個別に設定可能な圧力設定手段が設けられている請求項16記載のシール装置。
- 前記シール機構は超音波シール装置であり、前記第1の挟持部材と第2の挟持部材の一方がホーンで、他方がアンビルである請求項11ないし17のいずれかに記載のシール装置。
- 第1の挟持部材と第2の挟持部材を有するシール機構を用い、前記第1の挟持部材と第2の挟持部材で連続する軟質ワークを挟持して前記軟質ワークにシール部を形成する工程と、前記工程と同時またはその前あるいは後に前記軟質ワークを切断する工程とを有して、それぞれがシール部を有する軟質物品を製造する方法において、前記第2の挟持部材を弾性部材を介して前記第1の挟持部材へ向けて押圧し、このときの前記弾性部材として、変形可能なケーシング内に流体が入れられたものを使用することを特徴とする製造方法。
- 前記シール機構を、連続する軟質ワークの供給方向へ間隔を開けて複数設け、前記シール機構により前記連続する軟質ワークに供給方向へ向けて間隔を開けて前記シール部を形成する請求項19記載の製造方法。
- 回転部に前記シール機構を回転方向へ間隔を開けて配置して、前記回転部に前記連続する軟質ワークを供給し、前記回転部を回転させて、複数の前記シール機構により順番に前記シール部を形成する請求項20記載の製造方法。
- 前記ケーシング内の流体の圧力を所定の値に設定する請求項19ないし21のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記弾性部材を複数設け、それぞれの弾性部材で前記第2の挟持部材を加圧してシールを行う請求項19ないし22のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 複数の弾性部材の内部の圧力を個別に設定する請求項23記載の製造方法。
- 前記連続する軟質ワークは、前記シール部を形成する領域に厚みが相違する部分を有している請求項19ないし24のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記連続する軟質ワークは、前記シール部を形成する領域に厚みが相違する部分を有しており、軟質ワークの厚みの大きい部分に前記第2の挟持部材を押し付ける弾性部材と、厚みの小さい部分に前記第2の挟持部材を押し付ける弾性部材とで、内部の流体圧力を個別に設定する請求項24記載の製造方法。
- 前記連続する軟質ワークは、その供給方向に間隔を開けて配置された液吸収体と、前記液吸収体を支持する溶着可能なシートとを有するものであり、前記液吸収体と液吸収体との間において前記シートを重ねてシールする請求項19ないし26のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
- 前記シール機構は超音波シール装置であり、前記第1の挟持部材と第2の挟持部材の一方がホーンで、他方がアンビルである請求項19ないし27のいずれかに記載の製造方法。
