Description
The present invention relates to an IC card access controller for a non-contact IC card.
The IC card access control body of the non-contact IC card controls electromagnetic coupling between the non-contact IC card and the card reader.
The IC card access control body of the first non-contact IC card is a thin sheet that is sandwiched between two non-contact IC cards to separate them, and an oscillating magnetic field of a predetermined frequency radiated from the card reader. When a non-contact IC card is read by electromagnetically coupling to it, only one non-contact IC card is selectively reacted to prevent reaction with other non-contact cards. This prevents the problem of interference from reacting simultaneously.
The IC card access control body of the second non-contact IC card has one surface of the substrate as a skimming prevention surface, the other surface as an IC card use surface, and a non-contact IC card along the IC card use surface side. To prevent skimming and support for use of the non-contact IC card.
Non-contact IC cards have built-in antenna coils and IC chips, and their uses are not limited. For example, applications such as ticket gate cards for transportation, cash cards and credit cards for financial institutions, and entrance / exit management cards are assumed. it can.
これら非接触ICカードとの間で通信を確立する技術としてRFID(Radio Frequency Identification)技術が用いられている。
In recent years, non-contact IC cards incorporating an antenna coil and an IC chip have been widely used. It has begun to be used for various purposes such as a ticket gate system for transportation, a car toll collection system for highways, a cash card and credit card system for financial institutions, an entrance / exit management system, and a product management system in a factory.
RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) technology is used as technology for establishing communication with these non-contact IC cards. RFID is one of automatic recognition technologies for exchanging ID information between a contactless IC card and a card reader to recognize the other party and to communicate various data.
The non-contact IC card includes an antenna coil, and in a non-contact IC card system using RFID technology, a communication path is established between the non-contact IC card and the card reader by electromagnetic coupling to exchange various information. The card reader emits an oscillating magnetic field (alternating magnetic field) having a predetermined frequency, and creates a reading space in a certain area near the card reader. If a non-contact IC card is placed in this reading space, the magnetic field lines radiated from the card reader wrap around the antenna coil loop built in the non-contact IC card from the lower side to the upper side and turn outward to move the outside of the loop to the upper side. A magnetic path is formed which passes from the bottom to the bottom and returns to the card reader again. Since the antenna coil and the card reader are electromagnetically coupled in this way, current is supplied to the non-contact IC card by electromagnetic induction, and the non-contact IC card and the card reader use the oscillation magnetic field of the predetermined frequency as a signal carrier wave. Communication takes place.
When using the system, the owner of the contactless IC card holds the contactless IC card over the card reader, exchanges ID information and communicates necessary data between the contactless IC card and the control system side via the card reader. I do.
In this way, card systems using contactless IC cards are spreading, but there are many users in particular, and a ticket gate card system for transportation is one that has been introduced in advance.
A so-called user's boarding ticket or commuter pass is a non-contact IC card, a card reader is incorporated on the upper surface of the ticket gate, and a control system is incorporated in the ticket gate. When a user holds a non-contact IC card, which is a ticket or commuter pass, over the card reader on the top of the ticket gate, ID information and necessary data are exchanged between the ticket gate and the non-contact IC card. The gate is properly opened and closed.
Here, an important convenience for the non-contact IC card is that communication is performed between the ticket checker and the non-contact IC card in “non-contact”. The user can appropriately open and close the ticket gate by simply holding it over a card reader on the upper surface of the ticket gate with a non-contact IC card in a so-called commuter pass or wallet. On the other hand, in the case of a conventional contact IC card or magnetic card, the contact terminals of the card reader and the contact terminals provided on the surface of the IC card are brought into contact with each other to directly exchange electrical signals. Therefore, the user must take out the contact IC card from the commuter pass holder or wallet and insert it into the slot. This effort is inconvenient for the user. If it is a non-contact IC card, there is no such trouble and the convenience for the user is high.
Problems that impair the convenience of this contactless IC card have been pointed out.
The first problem is an interference problem when a plurality of contactless IC cards are used.
The second problem is information stealing due to skimming.
First, the first interference problem will be described.
Currently, the number of IC cards carried by users is increasing with the expansion of the usage range of IC cards.
In the case of a transportation card, the user transfers the routes of two railway companies for commuting, and if the ticket card system is not inter-connected between the railway companies, that is, the same contactless If the IC card cannot be shared, the user must hold two non-contact IC cards and use them separately.
However, if the user tries to pass through the ticket gate with two contactless IC cards stored in one commuter pass holder, a phenomenon occurs in which neither IC card can communicate normally. Therefore, when the card user holds it over the card reader, it is necessary to take out the necessary card from the holder and hold it over the interrogator, which causes a problem that the advantages of the original non-contact IC card are impaired.
In order to solve such a problem, for example, in
FIG. 28 is a view showing the structure of a conventional interference preventing body.
In FIG. 28, an exploded reference view is attached together with a front view and a side view for better understanding of the structure. The
When two non-contact IC cards C1 and C2 are held, the
The
Thus, if the
The
The reason why the
For example, when using one non-contact IC card C1, the position of the commuter pass is adjusted so that the non-contact IC card C1 is on the card reader side (that is, on the downward side because it faces the ticket gate). Hold it over the card reader of the machine. When the entire commuter pass is placed in the reading space of the card reader, the oscillating magnetic field radiated by the card reader is absorbed by the
When the other non-contact IC card C2 is read, the position of the commuter pass is adjusted so that the non-contact IC card C2 is on the card reader side (that is, the downward side because it faces the ticket gate). If it is held over the card reader of the machine, the non-contact IC card C2 and the card reader can communicate with each other by the same principle as described above.
Next, the problem of information theft by skimming as the second problem will be described.
In conventional skimming, there are many cases in which information recorded on the magnetic stripe is stolen by illegally passing a bank card or a credit card of a credit sales company in which information is recorded on the magnetic stripe through a card reader.
However, due to recent improvements in skimming technology and the development of non-contact IC cards such as bank cash cards and credit card credit cards, there is concern about the spread of skimming crimes such as non-contact information theft using electromagnetic waves. . Since the victim is not likely to notice crimes that place the card reader near the user's pocket or bag containing the contactless IC card and steal information recorded in the IC card in a contactless manner by electromagnetic coupling, skimming There is a need for improved technology to prevent this.
In the conventional technique for preventing the interference which is the first problem, by providing the
However, the above-described prior art
In the conventional technique for preventing skimming, which is the second problem, a card case made of a conductor is provided, and the non-contact IC card is held in the card case to block all electromagnetic waves from the outside. The purpose of preventing contact IC card skimming is to be achieved.
However, the prior art skimming preventing means has a problem that it cannot be used unless it is taken out from the card case when the non-contact IC card is used. One of the merits of non-contact IC cards is that it is easy to operate by electromagnetic coupling between the card reader and non-contact IC card by simply holding it over the card reader. It is important to use the IC card with the non-contact IC card placed on the card reader. However, the above-described prior art skimming prevention means impairs this important merit and inconveniences that a non-contact IC card must be taken out of the card case every time it is used.
In view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention separates both of them by sandwiching them between two non-contact IC cards, and a non-contact located on the card reader side with respect to an oscillating magnetic field of a predetermined frequency radiated by the card reader. An IC card access control body that securely and stably prevents interference of a non-contact IC card by preventing only the IC card from electromagnetic coupling and non-contact IC card located on the opposite side of the card reader from electromagnetic coupling. The purpose is to provide.
In addition, in view of the above-mentioned problems, the present invention reliably prevents skimming from the outside while maintaining the merit that the non-contact IC card can be used by holding the non-contact IC card in the card case and holding it over the card reader. An object of the present invention is to provide an IC card access control body that can be used.
In order to achieve the above object, a first IC card access controller of the present invention comprises a conductive sheet and a magnetic sheet laminated on the front side and the back side of the conductive sheet, respectively, and the shape of the magnetic sheet is The magnetic sheet is not laminated on the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet, and the shape is smaller than that of the conductive sheet.
With the above configuration, the card reader can obtain the effect of preventing the retraction and re-radiation of the magnetic force lines by the magnetic sheet located on the opposite side of the IC card access control body. It has the function of preventing interference from non-contact IC cards. The effect of preventing the retraction and re-radiation of magnetic field lines can be achieved by devising the shape of the magnetic sheet as described above, so that the magnetic field lines that have passed slightly outside the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet of the IC card access control body are outside the magnetic sheet. It is obtained by preventing the formation of a magnetic path that is drawn from the peripheral edge and goes into the magnetic sheet.
If the magnetic sheet is also laminated on the outer peripheral edge portion of the conductive sheet like the interference prevention body of the prior art, the magnetic lines of force that have passed slightly outside the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet will be at the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet. Since it passes in the immediate vicinity, a magnetic path that is drawn from the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet and goes into the magnetic sheet is formed.
However, in the case of the IC card access control body of the present invention, the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet is inside the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet, so that the magnetic field lines passing slightly outside the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet are magnetic. It is not pulled in from the outer peripheral edge of the sheet.
Next, the first IC card access control body of the present invention is positioned on the lower side in addition to the function of preventing the interference of the non-contact IC card located on the upper side across the first IC card access control body. It is necessary to provide a function enabling reading of a non-contact IC card. Therefore, in order to enable reading of the non-contact IC card located on the lower side with high sensitivity, in the state where the non-contact IC card and the IC card access controller are overlapped, the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet is the conductive material. It is assumed that it is located inside the outer peripheral edge of the sheet and outside the inner peripheral edge of the area where the antenna coil is provided.
With the configuration described above, an effect of assisting the drawing and re-radiation of magnetic field lines by the magnetic sheet facing the card reader can be obtained. In other words, the oscillating magnetic field radiated from the card reader of the ticket gate toward the non-contact IC card facing is efficiently drawn by the magnetic sheet and penetrates the loop of the antenna coil from the lower side to the upper side and then the outside of the antenna coil. It is possible to smoothly form a magnetic path that is re-radiated toward the outside of the antenna coil and passes through the outside of the loop of the antenna coil from the upper side to the lower side and returns to the card reader of the ticket gate.
In other words, in addition to the effect of preventing the retraction and re-radiation of magnetic lines by the magnetic sheet located on the opposite side of the IC card access controller, the card reader supports the retraction and re-emission of magnetic lines by the magnetic sheet facing the card reader. Both effects are obtained.
The specific numerical value depends on the position where the antenna coil of the non-contact IC card is provided. For example, the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet is located 3 mm to 7 mm inside from the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet. be able to.
In the IC card access control body of the present invention configured as described above, the magnetic sheet is structured not to be laminated on the outer peripheral edge portion of the conductive sheet, and the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet has a structure provided with a gap. The shape of the magnetic sheet is smaller than the shape of the conductive sheet without laminating the magnetic sheet on the outer peripheral edge portion of the conductive sheet, and the outer portion of the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet is on the conductive sheet. It is good also as a structure which provides the strip | belt body which consists of nonelectroconductive material in this, and fills the space | gap of the outer periphery part of a magnetic sheet with a nonelectroconductive material. For example, a non-conductive material such as a plastic film does not draw magnetic lines of force unlike a magnetic sheet, and the above-described principle of the present invention can be realized.
In order to achieve the above object, the second IC card access control body of the present invention has one surface of the substrate as a skimming prevention surface, the other surface as an IC card utilization surface, and a single non-contact IC card as the above-mentioned one. One of the skimming prevention surface and the IC card use surface or two non-contact IC cards are held along the skimming prevention surface and the IC card use surface, respectively, and the non-contact IC card IC card access control body for controlling skimming prevention and usage support, comprising: a conductive sheet serving as the substrate; and a magnetic sheet laminated on the IC card utilization surface of the conductive sheet, wherein the shape of the magnetic sheet The shape is smaller than the shape of the conductive sheet without laminating the magnetic sheet on the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet.
With the above configuration, when the card reader is positioned so as to face the IC card utilization surface, an oscillating magnetic field of a predetermined frequency radiated from the card reader can be drawn and re-radiated by the magnetic sheet. And the card reader can be supported, and when the card reader is positioned so as to face the skimming prevention surface, the oscillating magnetic field of a predetermined frequency radiated from the card reader can be blocked by the conductive sheet. The magnetic sheet on the side where the IC card is used has the effect of preventing the drawing of magnetic field lines and the re-radiation, and electromagnetic coupling between the non-contact IC card and the oscillating magnetic field can be prevented. In this way, skimming from the outside can be reliably prevented while maintaining the merit that the non-contact IC card can be used by holding the non-contact IC card in the card case and holding it over the card reader.
Next, the second IC card access control body of the present invention draws in electromagnetic waves from a card reader located on the IC card use surface side in addition to the function of blocking the electromagnetic waves from the skimming prevention surface described above, and is a non-contact IC. It is necessary to provide a function that enables reading of the card. Therefore, in order to enable reading of the non-contact IC card located on the IC card utilization surface side with high sensitivity, the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet is in a state where the non-contact IC card and the IC card access control body are overlapped. It is assumed that it is located inside the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet and outside the inner peripheral edge where the antenna coil is provided.
With the above configuration, the oscillating magnetic field radiated from the card reader located on the IC card utilization surface side is efficiently drawn by the magnetic sheet, penetrates the loop of the antenna coil from the lower side to the upper side, and then faces the outside of the antenna coil. Thus, a magnetic path that is re-radiated and passes through the outside of the loop of the antenna coil from the upper side to the lower side and returns to the card reader can be smoothly formed. That is, in addition to the function of preventing skimming from the card reader located on the skimming prevention surface with the second IC card
The specific numerical value depends on the position where the antenna coil of the non-contact IC card is provided as described above. For example, the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet is 3 mm to 7 mm inward from the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet. It can be located.
Similarly to the first IC card access control body, a band made of a non-conductive material is provided on the conductive sheet on the outer peripheral portion of the magnetic sheet, and the gap in the outer peripheral portion of the magnetic sheet is made non-conductive. A structure filled with a material can also be used.
According to the IC card access control body of the present invention, the IC card access control body is sandwiched between two non-contact IC cards and is held over the card reader so that the IC card access control body is positioned on the lower side (the lower surface facing the card reader). Only the non-contact IC card that communicates with the card reader can prevent interference between them without communicating with the non-contact IC card located on the upper side (the upper surface side blocked by the IC card access control body). .
According to the IC card access control body of the present invention, by using a non-contact IC card along with the IC card access control body, if the non-contact IC card is placed in the card case and held over the card reader, the non-contact IC card is used. While maintaining the merit that the card can be used, skimming from the outside can be surely prevented.
Embodiments of an IC card access controller according to the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. However, it goes without saying that the scope of the present invention is not limited to the specific shapes, numbers, angles, etc. shown in the following examples.
The first IC card access control body of the present invention is sandwiched between two non-contact IC cards and separated from each other, and is positioned on the card reader side with respect to an oscillating magnetic field of a predetermined frequency radiated by the card reader. This is an IC card access control body that prevents interference by only electromagnetically coupling non-contact IC cards to be performed and preventing non-contact IC cards located on the side opposite to the card reader side from electromagnetic coupling.
A first IC card access control body according to Example 1 includes a conductive sheet and a magnetic sheet laminated on each of the front side and the back side of the conductive sheet, and the shape of the magnetic sheet is changed to the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet. It is characterized in that the magnetic sheet is not laminated on the part.
First, the basic principle of the first IC card access controller of the present invention will be described.
Fig.1 (a) is a figure which shows typically the top view and side view of the 1st IC card
FIG. 2A is a schematic side view (cross section) showing that no interference occurs when two non-contact IC cards are held over a card reader using the first IC
As shown in FIG. 1A, the first IC card
How much inside is taken into consideration is the strength of the oscillating magnetic field of the card reader, the position of the antenna coil incorporated in the non-contact IC card, and the like. This point will be described later.
Although the size of the conductive sheet, the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet is positioned outside the outer peripheral edge of the area where the antenna coil is provided in a state where the non-contact IC card and the IC card access control body are overlapped. It shall be. That is, in order to prevent interference, the conductive sheet has a size and a positional relationship covering the antenna coil of the non-contact IC card placed on the upper side of the IC card access control body.
On the other hand, as shown in FIG. 1 (b), the
The state of electromagnetic coupling when the first IC
First, the case of the
In the cross-sectional view of FIG. 2 (b), there is a
As shown in FIG. 2 (b), in the
Next, the case of the first IC
FIG. 2A is a diagram schematically showing from the side surface (cross section) how interference is prevented by the first IC
As shown in FIG. 2A, in the first IC card
The above is the basic principle of the first IC card access controller of the present invention.
Next, the function that enables reading of the non-contact IC card located on the lower side with high sensitivity will be examined. The shape of the magnetic sheet affects the reading sensitivity of the non-contact IC card located on the lower side as well as preventing interference of the non-contact IC card located on the upper side of the first IC card access control body as described above. In the first IC card
FIG. 3 is a diagram schematically illustrating a positional relationship between the first IC
First, referring to FIG. 4, the inner peripheral edge and the outer peripheral edge where the antenna coil is provided are defined. In FIG. 4, an antenna coil having a rectangular shape is taken as an example. The antenna coil is formed in a flat shape, and a conductive wire by thin film printing is wound around a predetermined number of times. Here, the inner periphery of the area where the antenna coil is provided is the boundary around which the innermost conductor is wound, and the outer periphery of the area where the antenna coil is provided is the outer periphery of the conductor. It is a boundary. In the example of FIG. 4, 210-1 is the inner periphery of the area, and 210-2 is the outer periphery of the area. FIG. 3 schematically shows only the left side of the cross section in a state where the IC card access control body and the non-contact IC card are overlapped, and the cross section of the
Returning to FIG. 3, the description of the positional relationship between the first IC card
In the first IC card
With such a positional relationship, the magnetic field lines passing just outside the outer peripheral edge of the
On the other hand, for the purpose of comparison, the one shown in FIG. In FIG. 3B, the outer

(Experiment)
Next, the above-described first IC card access control body of the present invention is prototyped, and using a card reader, the interference prevention performance of the non-contact IC card positioned above the first IC card access control body is The reading performance of the non-contact IC card located on the side was confirmed.
As the card reader, the card reader portion of the ticket gate of JR West (West Japan Railway Company) was used.
As the non-contact IC card, “ICOCA (TM)” issued by JR West (West Japan Railway Company) was used.
In order to make a comparative experiment, four patterns as shown in FIG. 5 were made as the shape of the magnetic sheet, and the respective performances were confirmed. The size of the conductive sheet of the IC card access control body of each pattern is substantially the same as that of the non-contact IC card. In addition, when the IC card access control body of each pattern and the non-contact IC card are overlapped, the IC card access control body of each pattern is easy to grasp where the antenna coil in the non-contact IC card overlaps. The portion where the antenna coil overlaps on the magnetic sheet is written as a thin broken line. In this example, the antenna coil has an anti-collision type so-called tree leaf shape.

The following could be confirmed from the result of pattern 4 in FIG. The communication performance of the lower non-contact IC card is about 4.5 cm, and the non-contact IC card located on the lower side (card reader side) of the first IC
From the above experiment, if the shape of the magnetic sheet is the same as that of the interference prevention body of the prior art, the communication blocking performance for the upper non-contact IC card as the first IC card access control body becomes insufficient, and the antenna coil If the magnetic sheet in the corresponding position is removed, the communication performance for the lower non-contact IC card is not sufficiently exerted, and the magnetic sheet with the shape just removed from the inner side of the antenna coil is not compatible with the upper non-contact IC card. It was found that the communication interruption performance was insufficient.
If the magnetic sheet having the
Next, an experiment was conducted on how much the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet should be inside the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet. It is necessary to consider how much the inside is to be taken into consideration, such as the strength of the oscillating magnetic field of the card reader, the position of the antenna coil built in the non-contact IC card, the relationship between the size of the conductive sheet and the IC card. FIG. 7 shows the result of measuring the communication blocking performance for the upper non-contact IC card and the communication performance for the lower non-contact IC card while changing the distance between the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet and the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet. FIG. As above, the card reader used was a ticket reader of JR West Japan (West Japan Railway Company). Similarly to Example 1, the non-contact IC card used was “ICOCA (TM)” issued by JR West (West Japan Railway Company).
As shown in FIG. 8, the communication blocking performance for the upper non-contact IC card starts to be exhibited when the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet is 3 mm inside from the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet. Communication was interrupted with high accuracy. On the other hand, the communication performance with respect to the lower non-contact IC card was exhibited accurately from the outer peripheral edge of the magnetic sheet up to about 5 mm from the outer peripheral edge of the conductive sheet, but when it became 9 mm inside It turned out that communication performance cannot be demonstrated. As an example, the combination of the card reader and the non-contact IC card tested as an example is a range of 3 to 7 mm as a range in which both the communication blocking performance for the upper non-contact IC card and the communication performance for the lower non-contact IC card are secured. It is preferable that about 5 mm is most stable.
In the case of the first IC card access control body of
The first IC card access control body of Example 2 is a device in which the area of the magnetic sheet is devised to reduce costs while suppressing performance deterioration as the first IC card access control body of the present invention. .
In the first IC card access controller according to the first embodiment, the shape of the magnetic sheet is such that the magnetic sheet is not laminated on the outer peripheral edge portion of the conductive sheet. The access control body is formed by removing a portion corresponding to the area inside the area where the antenna coil of the non-contact IC card is provided in the shape of the magnetic sheet.
FIG. 9 is a diagram schematically illustrating the shape pattern of the magnetic sheet of the first IC card access control body according to the second embodiment.
In FIG. 9 also, when the first IC card access control body of each pattern and the non-contact IC card are overlapped, it is easy to grasp where the antenna coil in the non-contact IC card overlaps. The portion where the antenna coil overlaps is written as a thin broken line on the magnetic sheet of the first IC card access control body of each pattern. In this example, the antenna coil has an anti-collision type so-called tree leaf shape.

As in Example 1, a card reader of a ticket gate of JR West (West Japan Railway Company) was used.
Similarly to Example 1, the non-contact IC card used was “ICOCA (TM)” issued by JR West (West Japan Railway Company).

The following could be confirmed from the result of
The first IC card access control body according to the third embodiment is similar to the first embodiment in that the magnetic sheet has a shape in which the magnetic sheet is not laminated on the outer peripheral edge portion of the conductive sheet. A belt made of a non-conductive material is provided at the peripheral portion.
FIG. 11 is a schematic diagram of a plan view and a side view of the first IC card access control body according to the third embodiment. As in FIG. 1A, the shape of the

As a fourth embodiment, an example of the second IC card access control body of the present invention will be shown.
In the second IC card access control body of the present invention, one surface of the substrate is a skimming prevention surface and the other surface is an IC card utilization surface.
A second IC card access control body according to Example 4 includes a conductive sheet serving as a substrate and a magnetic sheet laminated on the IC card utilization surface of the conductive sheet, and the shape of the magnetic sheet is adjusted to the outside of the conductive sheet. A magnetic sheet is not laminated on the peripheral portion, and the shape is smaller than that of the conductive sheet. The surface on which the magnetic sheet is not laminated is defined as a skimming prevention surface, and the surface on which the magnetic sheet is laminated is defined as an IC card utilization surface.

As shown in FIG. 13, the second IC card
In the example shown in Example 4, the shape of the

FIG. 14A shows a first usage mode. The first usage mode is a usage mode in which at least one non-contact IC card is held along the skimming prevention surface to prevent skimming of the non-contact IC card.
FIG. 14B shows a second usage mode. The second usage mode is a usage mode in which at least one non-contact IC card is held along the IC card usage surface, and two controls, prevention of skimming of the non-contact IC card and card usage support, are performed.
FIG. 14C shows a third usage mode. In the third usage mode, one of at least two non-contact IC cards is held along the skimming prevention surface and the other one is held along the IC card use surface to prevent skimming of the non-contact IC card and the IC. This is a usage mode in which two controls for use support of an IC card on the card usage side are performed.
In each usage mode, the non-contact IC card and the IC card access control body are put in a general card case made of leather or cloth and used.
First, the first usage mode will be described.
In the first use mode, a non-contact IC card is held so as to be along the skimming prevention surface, and held in the
FIG. 16 is a diagram schematically showing the skimming prevention effect in the first usage mode. FIG. 16 shows a cross section, and the
FIG. 16A shows the flow of magnetic lines of force when the skimming prevention surface side is located on the outer surface. In the first usage mode, when the skimming prevention surface is located on the outer surface, the
Next, FIG. 16B shows the flow of magnetic lines of force when the IC card utilization surface is located on the outer surface. In the first usage mode, when the IC card utilization surface is located on the outer surface, the
As described above, in the first usage mode, it can be understood that the skimming prevention effect can be obtained regardless of the holding method shown in FIGS. 16 (a) and 16 (b).

Next, the second IC card access control body of the present invention was actually manufactured as a prototype, and the skimming prevention performance in the case of the first usage mode was confirmed by experiments. As the card reader, the card reader portion of the ticket gate of JR West (West Japan Railway Company) was used. As the non-contact IC card, “ICOCA (TM)” issued by JR West (West Japan Railway Company) was used. The
In the experiment, the

Next, the third usage mode will be described.
In the third usage mode, one of at least two contactless IC cards is held along the skimming prevention surface, and the other one is held along the IC card use surface, and is placed along the skimming prevention surface side. This is a usage mode in which skimming prevention of the non-contact IC card and control of use support of the non-contact IC card along the IC card use surface side are performed. For example, the
