Abstract
【解決手段】 絶縁性基板と、前記絶縁性基板上に設けられた蓄熱層と、前記蓄熱層上に設けられた発熱抵抗体層と、前記発熱抵抗体層上に形成された個別電極及び共通電極と、前記発熱抵抗体層と前記個別電極及び共通電極とを被覆する保護膜層からなるサーマルヘッドにおいて、前記保護膜層の表面に、フッ素系樹脂粒子を揮発性溶剤に溶解したものを塗布および乾燥させ、樹脂被覆層を形成させる。

Claims (11)
- 絶縁性基板と、
前記絶縁性基板上に設けられた蓄熱層と、
前記蓄熱層上に設けられた発熱抵抗体層と、
前記発熱抵抗体層上に形成された個別電極及び共通電極と、
前記発熱抵抗体層と前記個別電極及び共通電極とを被覆する保護膜層と、
前記保護膜層の表面に、フッ素系樹脂粒子を揮発性溶剤に溶解したものを塗布および乾燥させたことにより形成した樹脂被覆層と、を含むサーマルヘッド。 - 前記フッ素系樹脂粒子は、ポリテトラフロロエチレン樹脂粒子であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のサーマルヘッド。
- 前記フッ素系樹脂粒子は、粒径が0.05μm〜5μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のサーマルヘッド。
- 前記樹脂被覆層の厚みは0.5μm〜20μmであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のサーマルヘッド。
- 請求項1ないし請求項4のいずれか1項に記載のサーマルヘッドと、前記保護膜層に対して記録媒体を押圧しつつ搬送するプラテンローラと、を備えたことを特徴とするサーマルプリンタ。
- 前記プラテンローラに、フッ素系樹脂被覆層を形成させたことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のサーマルプリンタ。
- 前記サーマルプリンタは、該サーマルヘッドと前記プラテンローラが離間できない構造であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のサーマルプリンタ。
- 前記サーマルプリンタは、該サーマルヘッドと前記プラテンローラに近接する位置に前記記録媒体の有無を感知するセンサを備え、前記記録媒体を検出すると前記プラテンローラが回転し、前記記録媒体を搬送し始めることを特徴とする請求項5に記載のサーマルプリンタ。
- 前記サーマルプリンタは、前記記録媒体を押圧しつつ搬送するにつれて、前記樹脂被覆層が前記保護膜層表面より掻出されることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のサーマルプリンタ。
- 絶縁性基板と、前記絶縁性基板上に設けられた蓄熱層と、
前記蓄熱層上に設けられた発熱抵抗体層と、前記発熱抵抗体層上に形成された個別電極及び共通電極と、前記発熱抵抗体層と前記個別電極及び共通電極とを被覆する保護膜層とからなるサーマルヘッドの製造方法において、
前記保護膜層の表面に、フッ素系樹脂粒子を揮発性溶剤に溶解したものを塗布する塗布工程と、
前記フッ素系樹脂粒子を前記揮発性溶剤に溶解したものを乾燥させ樹脂被覆層を形成する乾燥工程と、を有することを特徴とするサーマルヘッドの製造方法。 - 前記乾燥工程は、5℃〜40℃で乾燥させたことを特徴とする請求項11記載のサーマルヘッドの製造方法。
