Abstract
【解決手段】 等速自在継手の内輪1の軸穴7aから外輪2と内輪1の間に発泡性の固形潤滑剤12を充填した後、軸穴7aを栓14で密栓して発泡させる。発泡性の固形潤滑剤12の材料は、栓14を取り付けた状態で発泡させかつ硬化させるので、ケージ穴やトラックのある部分にも流れ込んで、内輪1と外輪2の間の空間が充分に充填され、すなわち等速自在継手の駆動部付近に効率よく、固形潤滑剤を充填することができる。

Description
図1に示すように、第1実施形態の等速自在継手は、内輪1の外周面および外輪2の内周面に軸方向に延びる複数の溝3、4を対向配置して設け、これら対の溝3、4に回転自在に案内されるようにボール状の転動体5をケージ(保持器)6で保持しており、これによって内輪1の軸7(図3参照)と外輪2の軸13との交差角度の変動を転動体5の溝3、4の軸方向の移動で許容しながら、内輪1と外輪2の回転トルクを各溝3、4から転動体5を介して伝達できるボールフィクストジョイント(BJ)である。
グリースの基油としては、前述の潤滑油と同じものを使用できる。
また、不等速自在継手としては、クロスジョイントなどが挙げられる。
実施例1において、栓14を使用しなかったことおよび、固形潤滑剤を17g注入したこと以外は、実施例1と全く同様にして固形潤滑剤を発泡、硬化させた。
充填率(容積%)の計測方法としては、充填、発泡、硬化させた後に取り出した固形潤滑剤12を、シャフト部(中央穴部)とシャフト部以外に分断し、後者(固形潤滑剤のサンプル)の発泡体体積を求めた。すなわち、メスシリンダーに一定量の液体(例えば水または有機溶剤)を量り取り、固形潤滑剤のサンプルを浸漬し、浸漬前後の液体の体積変化より発泡体体積V1を求めた。また、水平に置いたCVJサブアッシ−のシャフト穴に円筒状の栓をし、液体を流し込み、こぼれる直前まで流し込んだ液体の体積をシャフト部以外の空間容積V2とした。発泡体体積V1をシャフト部以外の発泡体体積V2で除した値を充填率(容積%)として評価し、表2中に示した。

Claims (4)
- 自在継手の内輪の軸穴から外輪と内輪の間に発泡性の固形潤滑剤材料を充填し、次いで内輪の軸穴を軸または軸形状の密栓で密封し、前記固形潤滑剤材料を発泡させかつ固形状化することからなる固形潤滑剤内蔵の自在継手の製造方法。
- 密栓が、外輪開口端面を覆うフランジを有する密栓である請求項1に記載の固形潤滑剤内蔵の自在継手の製造方法。
- 自在継手が、等速自在継手である請求項1または2に記載の等速自在継手の製造方法。
- 請求項1または2に記載の自在継手の製造方法で得られた固形潤滑剤内蔵の等速自在継手。
