Abstract
【解決手段】主給電系5と電力調整装置40と走行駆動用の三相誘導電動機21とVVVFインバータ20とバッテリ35及び補機類用給電系22とを有すると共に、架線区間では架線7からの電力で電動機21を駆動し、非架線区間ではバッテリ35からの電力で電動機21を駆動するように構成した電気鉄道システム1であって、電力調整装置40の入力端が主給電系5に接続され、出力端がインバータ20,22とバッテリ35に接続された構成を有し、架線区間中にバッテリ35への充電電流を所定の充電電流設定手段を用いて設定し、この充電電流でバッテリ35に充電するように電力調整装置40を制御する電力制御手段50と、を備えた。

Description
電力調整装置40の入力端には、主給電系5の電力線11aが接続され、出力端にはインバータ20,22とバッテリ35に接続されている電力線11bが接続されている。図2に示すように、電力調整装置40の内部には、2つのIGBT41,42と、4つのダイオード43〜46と、リアクトル47と、2つのキャパシタ17(図1参照),49とで回路構成される昇降圧チョッパを備えている。電力線11aとグランドライン12との間に、1次側(架線側)では架線からの電力線11aがIGBT41のコレクタに接続され、IGBT41のエミッタがダイオード43のカソードに接続され、ダイオード43のアノードがグランドライン12に接続されている。2次側(出力側)では電力線11bがダイオード44のカソードに接続され、ダイオード44のアノードがIGBT42のコレクタに接続され、IGBT42のエミッタがグランドライン12に接続されている。

例えば、2次側電圧E2を第1電圧検出器59により検出された充電電圧よりも昇圧させたい場合は、オン時間t1を長くし、降圧させたい場合は、オン時間t1を短くすることで、2次側電圧E2を1次側電圧E1より低い範囲で昇降圧させ充電電圧を調整することができる。

例えば、2次側電圧E2を第1電圧検出器により検出される充電電圧よりも昇圧させたい場合は、オン時間t2を長くし、降圧させたい場合は、オン時間t2を短くすることで、2次側電圧E2を1次側電圧E1より高い範囲で昇降圧させ充電電圧を調整することができる。
充電電流設定手段は、電力線を流れる電流を検出する第1〜第3電流検出器56〜58(第1〜第3電流検出手段に相当する)と、充電電圧と電力調整装置40の2次側電圧E2を検出する第1電圧検出器59(第1電圧検出手段に相当する)と、架線電圧と電力調整装置40の1次側電圧E1を検出する第2電圧検出器60(第2電圧検出手段に相当する)と、走行路線の運行テーブルと、各検出値に基づいて充電電流を演算する充電電流演算手段とを有している。
電力制御手段50は、上記電気信号を受けてゲート駆動回路52へ制御信号を送信するコントローラ51と、IGBT41,42のゲートを駆動するゲート駆動回路52とから構成されている。この電力制御手段50によると、架線区間在線中にバッテリ35を充電するため充電電流値を前述の充電電流設定手段を用いて設定し、後述する制御方式に従い、バッテリ35に流入する充電電流値が常時一定になるように、または、電力調整装置40から供給される充電電流値が常時一定になるように、或いは架線7からの供給電流値(充電電流と補機類供給電流と駆動電流の合計電流値)が常時一定になるように、コントローラ51とゲート駆動回路52を介して電力調整装置40が制御される。
第1電流検出器56で検出されるバッテリ充電電流一定の制御では、充電電流は非架線区間で消費した電流時間積を架線区間の在線中に100%回復させるように充電電流設定手段により設定された一定電流値で供給される。この充電電流とは別に、常時補機類供給電流が供給され、力行指令が入力されたときには駆動電流が供給され、充電電流とは無関係に補機類供給電流と駆動電流が供給されるように電力調整装置40が制御される。
第3電流検出器58で検出される供給電流が常時一定に制御される場合、この供給電流は、各架線区間特有のバッテリ充電電流と駆動電流と補機類供給電流の夫々の時間平均値の合計から決定される。充電電流は、前述の充電電流演算手段により演算され設定される。駆動電流に関しては、鉄道は、路線と運行ダイヤが決まっているので、平均的な運行パターンをベースに運行の典型パターン(Typical Pattern)を求め、典型パターンをもとに駆動電流の時間平均値を決定することができる。更に、1日の運行終了後、バッテリ35の充電状態を確認し、電力制御手段50で修正をするようにしている。補機類供給電流は、空調や照明などの補機類23へ供給されるため、架線・非架線区間に関わらず略一定の電流値となる。
この電気鉄道システム1は、電力調整装置40の入力端に主給電系5が接続され、出力端にバッテリ35とVVVFインバータ20とCVCFインバータ22が並列に夫々接続されているので、架線区間在線中では、常時バッテリ35を充電可能であると共にCVCFインバータ22に給電可能であり、力行時にはVVVFインバータ20にも給電可能である。非架線区間では、架線7から電力が供給されないためバッテリ35からVVVFインバータ20やCVCFインバータ22に直接給電可能となる。
(1)電力調整装置40は、必ずしも昇降圧チョッパである必要はなく、DC/DC変換器のような昇降圧手段を有する構成であれば良い。
(2)本発明の趣旨を逸脱しない範囲で前記実施例に種々の変更を付加した形態で実施することができ、本発明はそれらの変更形態も包含するものである。

Claims (8)
- 架線から給電可能な主給電系と、この主給電系の電力を調整する電力調整装置と、走行駆動用の三相誘導電動機と三相誘導電動機を駆動する可変電圧可変周波数型インバータとで構成された駆動系と、バッテリ及び補機類用給電系とを有すると共に、架線区間では架線からの電力で前記電動機を駆動し、非架線区間ではバッテリからの電力で前記電動機を駆動するように構成した電気鉄道システムであって、
前記電力調整装置の入力端が前記主給電系に接続され、出力端が前記駆動系とバッテリと補機類用給電系に夫々接続された構成を有し、
架線区間在線中にバッテリへの充電電流を所定の充電電流設定手段を用いて設定し、この充電電流でバッテリに充電するように電力調整装置を制御する電力制御手段と、
を備えたことを特徴とする電気鉄道システム。 - 前記充電電流設定手段は、前記バッテリへの充電電流を検出する第1電流検出手段と、前記バッテリ電圧を検出する第1電圧検出手段と、走行路線の運行テーブルとを備え、
前記第1電流検出手段と第1電圧検出手段の出力を受けて、架線区間在線中にバッテリの放電状態と、前記走行路線の運行テーブルから演算した現在の架線区間に在る在線時間とに基づいてバッテリへの充電電流を演算する充電電流演算手段とを備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の電気鉄道システム。 - 前記充電電流設定手段は、前記駆動系と補機類用給電系への供給電流を検出可能で且つ電動機による回生電流から補機類用給電系への供給電流を減算した電流を検出可能な第2電流検出手段と、前記架線から主給電系へ供給される電流を検出可能な第3電流検出手段と、架線電圧を検出可能な第2電圧検出手段を有することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電気鉄道システム。
- 前記電力制御手段は、架線区間在線時には、前記第1電流検出手段で検出される電流が略一定となるように電力調整装置を制御することを特徴とする請求項2に記載の電気鉄道システム。
- 前記電力制御手段は、架線区間在線時に、電力回生時以外のときには略一定の充電電流となるように電力調整装置を制御し、電力回生時には前記第1電流検出手段で検出される電流と前記第2電流検出手段で検出される電流との差が略一定となるように電力調整装置を制御することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電気鉄道システム。
- 前記電力制御手段は、前記第3電流検出手段で検出される電流が略一定となるように、または第3電流検出手段で検出される電流と前記第2電圧検出手段で検出される電圧の積が略一定となるように電力調整装置を制御し得るように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項3に記載の電気鉄道システム。
- 前記電力調整装置は、電力回生時には回生電力の全量を前記バッテリ及び補機類用給電系に供給するように構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜6の何れかに記載の電気鉄道システム。
- 1500Vdc,750Vdc,600Vdcから選択される架線電圧に対して使用可能に構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れかに記載の電気鉄道システム。
