Description

The present invention relates to a storage box for an outdoor installation type electronic device, more specifically, in an electronic device storage box including a main body portion in which an electronic device is stored and a detachable cover covering the main body portion. The present invention relates to a waterproof structure for an outdoor-installed electronic device storage box that forms a draining groove at a joint with a cover to prevent water from entering from the outside.

2. Description of the Related Art Some electronic equipment casings or storage boxes that are installed outdoors have a surface covered by a cover, that is, a front surface of the storage box that faces the front, and is installed vertically as a whole. In such a storage box, the side of the box extends almost vertically, and when exposed to side winds and rain, rainwater collects on the side, and water enters the inside from here. It is known that a water drain groove extending vertically is formed on the side surface of the main body so as to allow the accumulated water to flow downward to prevent water from entering the inside. (For example, patent document 1).

In this Patent Document 1, the first and second drain grooves are formed in the side portion of the storage box body, and the water accumulated in the side portion flows down through the drain groove, In addition to forming a notch on the side wall of the first draining groove, the cover is provided with a locking projection that engages with the notch, and the cover is moved from the front side (front side) of the main body to the main body. It can be pushed in and installed.
Japanese Patent Laid-Open No. 10-284854

Although the conventional electronic device storage box described above has two straight draining grooves extending vertically on the side surface of the storage box body, the grooves are independent of each other and do not communicate with each other. In addition, a cutout portion on the side of the storage box body provided to facilitate mounting from the front side of the cover (a cutout portion on the main body side that engages with a locking projection on the cover) is provided on one drain groove. It is formed only on the high side wall, and because of the positional relationship between the two grooves, both the draining grooves do not communicate with each other through this notch. This notch is for engaging with the locking projection of the cover, not for communicating the drain groove.

In such a structure, when the draining groove is clogged in the middle due to some reason, water accumulates in the draining groove above the clogged portion, and this water may enter the storage box and damage the internal equipment. There is. In addition, when moisture has entered the draining groove due to strong wind or the like, when the pressure in the groove increases due to wind pressure, the moisture may enter the storage box. Further, in this conventional example, there is no water escape path in the upper part of the storage box, so there is a risk that water may enter the inside directly from the upper part through the gap between the cover and the main body part.

The present invention relates to an electronic device storage box in which a cover can be attached to the main body from the front side, and there is no risk of water collecting in a plurality of drain grooves formed on the side of the main body. An object of the present invention is to provide a waterproof structure for an outdoor-installed electronic device storage box that can also discharge water applied to the lower part to the outside.

In order to solve the above-described problems, the waterproof structure for an outdoor-installed electronic device storage box according to the present invention includes a device storage portion on which an electronic device is mounted and stored, and a lower portion extending forward to the lower end of the device storage portion. A storage box body having a frame part, a top plate part formed at the upper end of the device storage part, and a side plate part formed so as to protrude forward on both sides of the device storage part;
A front plate that covers the front side of the storage box body; a top plate that extends from the upper edge of the front plate toward the storage box body side and whose rear edge covers the top plate portion of the storage box body; and the front plate And a pair of side plates that extend from both side edges of the top plate to the side of the storage box body and cover a side surface of the storage box body so that a rear edge overlaps a side plate portion of the storage box body. A cover that detachably covers the main body,
A waterproof structure for an outdoor-installed electronic device storage box comprising:
The side plate portion is provided with a plurality of draining grooves opened at the lower end of the storage box body, and among the plurality of draining grooves, adjacent draining grooves are communicated with each other through a communication hole, and on the back side of the storage box body. The drainage hole which opens outside is formed in the draining groove located.

With the above configuration, even if the draining groove formed in the side plate part of the storage box body is clogged for some reason, water flows out to the adjacent draining groove and from the lower end of the groove or from the drainage hole in the middle of the draining groove to the outside Since the inside of the groove is always open to the outside by the drainage hole, the pressure in the groove does not increase due to wind pressure, etc. Ingress of moisture is prevented.

Further, the top plate part is equipped with a plurality of draining grooves communicating with the plurality of draining grooves provided on the side plate part.

With this configuration, even when the outdoor electronic device storage box is exposed to wind and rain and water accumulates on the top surface of the box, the water on the top surface flows from the draining groove on the top plate to the draining groove on the side plate, and from here Accidents such as leakage to the outside and flooding of the storage box are prevented.

In addition, a plurality of draining grooves communicating with the plurality of draining grooves provided in the side plate portion are provided on both side surfaces and the front surface of the lower frame portion.

With this configuration, even when the outdoor electronic storage box is exposed to wind and rain and water accumulates in the lower part of the box, the water collected in the lower part of the box is drained on both sides and the front of the lower frame. This prevents an accident that the water flows out to the outside through the draining groove of the side plate portion and the inside of the storage box is flooded.

In addition, the first draining groove located at the end of the device storage section is divided into a plurality of areas in the height direction, and provided with drain holes communicating with the outside for each of the divided areas, Further, the communication hole is provided on the top.

With this configuration, communication holes that connect the grooves are provided at a plurality of positions in the height direction of the draining grooves of the side plate portion, and a plurality of drain holes are provided in the draining grooves on the rear surface side. Even if clogging occurs in any part of the part, it is possible to drain effectively, preventing water from entering the storage box.

According to the present invention, even when the draining groove formed on the side portion of the storage box is clogged for some reason, water flows out to the adjacent draining groove through the communication hole, and drainage in the middle of the draining groove It is possible to flow out from the hole to the outside, and further, moisture can be prevented from entering the storage box due to an increase in pressure in the groove due to wind pressure or the like.

Hereinafter, the waterproof structure of the outdoor-installed electronic device storage box according to the present invention will be described in detail with reference to the drawings with various optimum embodiments.

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an outdoor electronic device storage box according to an embodiment of the present invention as seen from the front obliquely lower side, and FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the storage box shown in FIG. For this reason, both are shown with the cover separated from the storage box body. The storage box main body 1 is provided with various electronic devices, and a U-shaped lower frame portion 3 protruding forward is formed at the lower end of the device storage portion 2 to be stored, and the top plate portion is formed at the upper end of the device storage portion 2. 4 is formed so that the side-plate part 5 protrudes ahead on both sides.

As shown in FIG. 1, the cover 6 on the front side of the storage box overlaps the front plate 7 that covers the electronic device on the device storage part 2 of the storage box body 1, and the top plate part 4 and the side plate part 5 of the storage box body 1. It has a frame shape with a top plate 8 and side plates 9. As shown in the figure, the side plate 9 of the cover 6 is stepped so that the rear side surface connected to the side edge extends slightly outward from the front side surface connected to the front plate 7 of the cover 6. 6 is attached to the main body 1, the rear side surface of the side plate 9 of the cover 6 is joined to the side plate portion 5 of the storage box main body 1, and the front side surface of the side plate 9 of the cover 6 is the lower frame portion of the storage box main body 1. 3 is joined to the side surface.

At the same time, the back side of the top plate 8 of the cover 6 is joined to the top plate portion 4 of the storage box body 1, and the back surface of the front plate 7 of the cover 6 is joined to the front surface of the lower frame portion 3 of the storage box body 1. In this state, the cover 6 is fixed to the device storage portion 2 with a screw (not shown) through the screw insertion hole 10 on the front side surface and the screw hole 11 of the lower frame portion 3 of the storage box body 1.

Next, Example 1 of the present invention will be described.
FIG. 3 is a partial enlarged cross-sectional view of the upper corner of the side plate portion of the storage box body in the cover mounted state, and FIG. 4 is an enlarged side view of a part of the side plate portion and lower frame portion of the storage box body. 1 to 4, two draining grooves 15, 16 are formed in the side plate portion 5 of the storage box body by three partition walls 12, 13, 14 extending vertically. That is, a second draining groove 15 is formed between the front partition 12 and the central partition 13, and a first draining groove 16 is formed between the central partition 13 and the rearmost partition 14. ing. The central partition wall 13 that divides the first draining groove 16 and the second draining groove 15 is formed with a communication hole 17 that communicates the first and second draining grooves 16, 15. The partition wall 14 is formed with a drain hole 18 for opening the first draining groove 16 to the outside.

More specifically, as clearly shown in FIG. 4, the three divided regions A to 3 in the height direction are bordered by two reinforcing portions 19 that bridge the central partition wall 13 and the rearmost partition wall 14. C is formed, and a drainage hole 18 is formed in the partition wall 14 on the rearmost surface in the uppermost first division area A and the second division area B on the lower side, respectively. A communication hole 17 for connecting the first and second draining grooves 16 and 15 to the central partition wall 13 is formed at a position slightly above the position. Also, a drainage hole 21 is formed in the partition wall 14 on the rearmost surface also below the second dividing region B, and the first and second partition walls 13 are located at a position slightly above the position of the drainage hole 21. A communication hole 17 connecting the draining grooves 16 and 15 is formed. Further, a lowermost third divided area C is formed below the second divided area B, and lower ends of the first and second draining grooves 16 and 15 in the divided area C are opened to the outside. A lower end opening is formed, and moisture can be discharged from the lower end opening to the outside.
The drain holes 18 and 21 are holes for discharging the water in the draining groove to the outside, and are thus provided to be slightly inclined downward toward the outside.
In addition, the reinforcing portion 19 is configured to connect the surfaces of the partition walls 13 and 14, and the first draining groove 16 extends from the upper end to the lower end through the lower side of the reinforcing portion 19.

In the above-described configuration, when this electronic device storage box is installed in an upright position on an outdoor column or support wall (not shown), when water enters from the gap between the main body 1 and the cover 6 due to wind and rain, etc. Moisture is blocked by the portions 16 and 15 and is prevented from entering the main body. The water accumulated in the draining grooves 16 and 15 flows down through these grooves, flows out to the outside from the lower end opening, and also flows out from the drain holes 18 and 21 in the middle of the draining groove 16.

When the draining grooves 16 and 15 are clogged for some reason, for example, when the middle part of the second draining groove 15 on the front side is clogged with dust or the like, a groove belonging to the upper divided region from the clogged portion. From the lower end opening of the draining groove 16 or from the drain hole 18 (21) below the communication hole 17, (20). It is discharged outside. Similarly, when the first draining groove 16 is clogged, the adjacent draining grooves (second draining grooves 15) from the communication holes 17 and (20) belonging to the region located above the clogged portion similarly. ) Or discharged to the outside through the drain holes 18 and 21 above the clogging position, and the equipment inside the storage box is prevented from being damaged by water.

As described above, the draining grooves 16 and 15 communicate with the adjacent draining grooves 15 and 16 at a plurality of positions in the length direction of the groove, and the draining groove 16 on the rear surface side is externally connected through the plurality of drain holes 18 and 21. Therefore, no matter where the water draining grooves 16 and 15 are clogged, the pressure in the groove does not increase due to the wind pressure. Intrusion inside is prevented.
In the above-described embodiment, the draining grooves 16 and 15 formed in the side plate part 5 on one side have been described, but it is needless to say that similar draining grooves, communication holes, and drain holes are formed on both sides.

The first embodiment is an example in which the draining grooves 16 and 15 are formed only on the side plate portion 5 of the storage box body 1, but in the second embodiment, the draining grooves 16 and 15 are also formed on the upper surface of the top plate portion 4 and the lower frame portion 3. . Also in the second embodiment, a plurality of draining grooves are formed in the side plate portion 5 and the communication holes 17 and 20 for communicating the draining grooves 16 and 15 as shown in FIGS. Drain holes 18 and 21 opened to the outside are formed in the groove-forming partition wall 14 on the rearmost surface side of the portion 2, and this form is the same as that of the first embodiment.

In the second embodiment, the top plate portion 4 is provided with a plurality of, specifically, first and second draining grooves 23 and 22 of the top plate portion 4 extending in the horizontal direction of the top plate. The grooves 23 and 22 communicate with the first and second draining grooves 16 and 15 of the corresponding side plate portion 5. Moisture that has entered between the cover 6 and the top plate portion 4 of the storage box body 1 due to wind and rain is accumulated in the draining grooves 23 and 22 of the top plate portion 4 and flows out from here to the draining grooves 16 and 15 of the side plate portion 5. As described in detail in the first embodiment, the water is discharged to the outside through the lower ends of the side drain grooves 16 and 15 and the drain holes 18 and 21. In addition, as for the draining grooves 23 and 22 of the top plate part 4, a communication hole communicating with an adjacent draining groove may be formed in the middle part.

Further, one or first and second draining grooves 25 and 24 are also formed on both side surfaces and the front surface of the lower frame portion 3. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 4, the draining grooves 25, 24 on the both side surfaces and the front surface of the lower frame portion 3 are connected to each other at the ridge portion of the lower frame, and the draining grooves 25, 24 of the lower frame portion 3 are caused by wind and rain. The taken-in water flows out from the groove ends of the draining grooves 25 and 24 on the side surface of the lower frame (see arrow in FIG. 4).

In each of the first and second embodiments, the number of draining grooves is two, but the present invention is not limited to this, and more draining grooves are provided in the top plate portion, the side plate portion, and the lower frame portion. In addition, the number of communication holes and drain holes is not limited to two, and more communication holes and drain holes may be provided depending on the size of the storage box or installation conditions. In the first and second embodiments, the outdoor installation type electronic device storage box is illustrated, but the present invention is similarly applied to an electronic device storage box installed in a place where there is a risk of receiving water droplets even indoors. Of course, it applies.
