Abstract
【解決手段】従来空隙であった金属薄板11の谷部11aに粉体のシール材14を充填し該部を最初から埋めておくことによって、従来低締付荷重では圧縮できなかった金属薄板11の谷部11aにおけるPTFEシート12及び13を圧縮し、低締付荷重において全面で締付面圧を確保するとともに、従来大きかったシートの変形量を抑え、流動性が低いPTFEシートが高締付荷重を負荷しても破壊しない上、より薄いPTFEシート12及び13の使用を可能とし、低締付荷重においてPTFEシート12及び13に浸透漏洩を生じる懸念をなくす。

Description
波形金属薄板11として波形金属薄板(材質:ステンレス鋼[316L],板厚:0.55mm,波ピッチp:3.2mm,波高さt1/2:0.5mm[山高さt1:1.1mm])を使用し、PTFEシート12及び13として多孔質PTFEシート(厚みt2:0.5mm)を使用し、充填材14としてPTFE粉末(平均粒径:50μm)を使用して、図1、図2に示すようなガスケット(以下、「実施例」という。)を作製した。

Claims (3)
- 同心円の波形を付けた金属薄板の谷部に粉体のシール材を充填し、該金属薄板の両面にシール性を有する四フッ化エチレン樹脂(以下、「PTFE」という。)シートを積層接着したことを特徴とするガスケット。
- 同心円の波形を付けた金属薄板の谷部に粉体のシール材を充填し、該金属薄板の両面及び内周をシール性を有するPTFE成形体で被覆したことを特徴とするガスケット。
- 金属薄板の谷部における締付面圧が金属薄板の山部における締付面圧よりも低くなる密度で、粉体のシール材を金属薄板の谷部に充填したことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のガスケット。
