Abstract
【解決手段】セラミック基材の表面に、セラミック粒子をシラノール基を有する無機バインダーと水により混練した耐火モルタルを施工して形成された耐火モルタル硬化成形物である。耐火モルタル中のセラミック粒子の平均粒子径を10〜50μm、90%粒子径と10%粒子径の差を10μm以上60μm以下とし、かつ耐火モルタル硬化成形物の平均気孔径を5〜25μm、気孔径分布の幅を20μm以上80μm以下とすることによって、クラックを抑制する。なお、かさ密度を0.9〜1.5g/cm3とすることが好ましい。

Description
本発明の耐火モルタル硬化成形物はセラミック耐火物の表面もしくは目地部分にモルタルを施工することにより形成されるものである。セラミック耐火物は特に限定されるものではないが、セラミック耐火物は一般的に多孔質であり、この実施形態では耐火煉瓦等を用いる耐火炉材の一部として使用されたり、炉材煉瓦の表面を保護や強度向上を狙って使用されることなどがある。セラミック耐火物は構造用耐火物以外とすることもできる。また、ここで言う多孔質とは気孔率20〜70%のものを示す。
表1に示す各種の耐火モルタルを作成し、コージライト質のセラミック耐火物の表面に施工して耐火モルタル硬化成形物を形成し、画像解析により気孔径を測定した。またそれぞれの耐火モルタル硬化成形物の特性を測定し、表中に記載した。なお、クラック発生温度の評価は、60×50×1mmの耐火モルタル硬化成形物ピースを40〜110℃で8時間以上乾燥した試料を種々温度に加熱した状態から室温下に取出し、クラック発生の有無を目視にて確認し、加熱後に初めてクラックが発生した温度をクラック発生温度とした。実施例は何れも良好な結果を示しており、クラック発生温度も500℃を越えている。
Claims (5)
- セラミック耐火物の表面もしくは目地部分に耐火モルタルを硬化させて成形した成形物であって、耐火モルタルを構成するセラミック粒子の平均粒子径を10〜50μm、90%粒子径と10%粒子径の差を10〜60μmとし、かつ耐火モルタル硬化成形物の平均気孔径を5〜25μm、気孔径分布の幅を20〜80μmとしたことを特徴とする耐火モルタル硬化成形物。
- かさ密度を0.9〜1.5g/cm3としたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の耐火モルタル硬化成形物。
- セラミック粒子をシラノール基を有する無機バインダーと水により混練したモルタルをセラミック基材の表面に配して形成されたものであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の耐火モルタル硬化成形物。
- セラミック耐火物が多孔質セラミックであることを特徴とする請求項1記載の耐火モルタル硬化成形物。
- セラミック耐火物及びセラミック粒子がともにコージライト質であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の耐火モルタル硬化成形物。
