Abstract
【解決手段】マスターバッテリ管理システムとスレーブバッテリ管理システムは、同期信号をハードウェア的にだけでなく、ソフトウェア的にも正確に同期化させ、その一例として、バッテリ管理システムは、電源が印加されるとレディー信号を出力するスレーブバッテリ管理システムと、レディー信号が入力されると同期開始信号を出力するマスターバッテリ管理システムとを有し、マスターバッテリ管理システムは、スレーブバッテリ管理システムに周期的に同期リセット信号を出力する。

Claims (17)
- 電源が印加されるとレディー信号を出力する少なくとも一つのスレーブバッテリ管理システムと、
前記レディー信号が入力されると同期開始信号を出力するマスターバッテリ管理システムとを含み、
前記マスターバッテリ管理システムは、前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムに周期的に同期リセット信号を出力することを特徴とするバッテリ管理システム。 - 前記マスターバッテリ管理システムは、
前記レディー信号が入力されると動作する内部タイマをさらに含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ管理システム。 - 前記マスターバッテリ管理システムは、
前記レディー信号が入力されるアンドゲートをさらに含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ管理システム。 - 前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムは、
前記同期開始信号が入力されると動作する内部タイマをさらに含んでなることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ管理システム。 - 前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムは、
前記同期リセット信号が入力されると自分の内部タイマを予め設定された特定時間にリセットさせることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ管理システム。 - 前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムは、
同期チェック信号を前記マスターバッテリ管理システムに出力することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のバッテリ管理システム。 - 前記同期チェック信号は、バッテリ電圧を感知するためのバッテリ電圧制御信号であることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバッテリ管理システム。
- 前記マスターバッテリ管理システムは、前記同期チェック信号が入力されないとシステム欠陥信号を出力することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバッテリ管理システム。
- 前記マスターバッテリ管理システムは、
前記同期チェック信号が入力されるアンドゲートをさらに含んでなることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のバッテリ管理システム。 - マスターバッテリ管理システムとスレーブバッテリ管理システムとからなるバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法において、
前記マスターバッテリ管理システムは、
前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムからレディー信号が入力されたか否かを判断するレディー信号判断ステップと、
前記レディー信号が入力されると、前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムに同期開始信号を出力する同期開始信号出力ステップと、
前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムに周期的に同期リセット信号を出力する同期リセット信号出力ステップと、を含んで駆動することを特徴とするバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法。 - 前記同期開始信号出力ステップでは、
前記同期開始信号の出力と共に自分の内部タイマも動作させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法。 - 前記同期開始信号出力ステップは、
全てのスレーブバッテリ管理システムからレディー信号が入力されると行われることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法。 - 前記同期開始信号出力ステップ後には、
前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムが自分の内部タイマを動作させることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法。 - 前記同期リセット信号出力ステップ後には、
前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムが自分の内部タイマを予め設定された特定時間に強制リセットさせることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法。 - 前記同期開始信号出力ステップ、または前記同期リセット信号出力ステップ後には、
前記スレーブバッテリ管理システムから同期チェック信号が入力されたか否かを判断する同期チェック信号判断ステップをさらに含んでなることを特徴とする請求項10に記載のバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法。 - 前記同期チェック信号判断ステップで用いられた同期チェック信号は、バッテリ電圧を感知するためのバッテリ電圧制御信号であることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法。
- 前記同期チェック信号判断ステップ後には、
少なくとも一つの前記同期チェック信号が入力されないと、システム欠陥信号を出力するシステム欠陥信号出力ステップをさらに含んでなることを特徴とする請求項15に記載のバッテリ管理システムの駆動方法。
