【解決手段】軸方向に延びる凸部35が設けられた継手外輪5の軸部12をハブ輪1の孔部22に圧入し、ハブ輪1の軸部嵌合孔22aの内径面37に凸部35により凹部を形成することで、凸部35と凹部の嵌合部位全域が密着する凹凸嵌合構造が構成される。また、継手外輪5の軸部12に設けたボルト孔13には、凹凸嵌合構造の構成後にボルト部材50が締結され、これによりハブ輪1と継手外輪5の分離が規制される。ボルト部材50としては、その座面50a1の外径をd1、その軸径をd2としたときに、2.3≦(d1/d2)2≦4.9の関係式を満たすものを用いる。

Claims (11)
- 内周に複列の軌道面を有する外方部材と、車輪に取り付けられるハブ輪を含み、外周に前記軌道面に対向する複列の軌道面を有する内方部材と、外方部材と内方部材の軌道面間に介在した複列の転動体とを有する車輪用軸受と、外側継手部材を有する等速自在継手とを備えた車輪用軸受装置であって、外側継手部材の軸部とハブ輪の孔部のうち、何れか一方に設けられた軸方向に延びる凸部を他方に圧入し、他方に前記凸部により凹部を形成することで前記凸部と前記凹部との嵌合部位全域が密着する凹凸嵌合構造を構成すると共に、外側継手部材の軸部にボルト孔を設け、このボルト孔にねじ込んだボルト部材でハブ輪と外側継手部材とを締結し、ボルト部材を取り外した状態での軸方向の引き抜き力付与により凹凸嵌合構造の分離が許容されるものにおいて、
前記ボルト部材として、その座面外径をd1、その軸径をd2としたときに、2.3≦(d1/d2)2≦4.9の関係式を満たすものを使用することを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 外側継手部材の軸部に前記凸部を設け、この凸部の少なくとも圧入開始側の端部の硬度を、ハブ輪の孔部内径部よりも高くしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 外側継手部材の軸部に、前記凸部を設けると共に、前記凸部の圧入による前記凹部の形成によって生じるはみ出し部を収納するポケット部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ハブ輪の孔部に前記凸部を設け、この凸部の少なくとも圧入開始側の端部の硬度を外側継手部材の軸部の外径部よりも高くしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ハブ輪の孔部に、前記凸部を設けると共に、前記凸部の圧入による前記凹部の形成によって生じるはみ出し部を収納するポケット部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1又は4に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凸部を円周方向の複数箇所に設け、凸部の高さ方向の中間部において、凸部の周方向厚さを、隣接する凸部との間の溝幅よりも小さくしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記凸部を円周方向の複数箇所に設け、凸部の高さ方向の中間部において、各凸部の周方向厚さの総和を、隣接する凸部との間の溝幅の総和よりも小さくしたことを特徴とする請求項1〜5の何れか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記内方部材は、ハブ輪のインボード側端部の外周に圧入される内輪をさらに備え、ハブ輪および内輪の外周に前記軌道面がそれぞれ設けられたものであり、
ハブ輪の端部を加締めることで前記車輪用軸受に予圧が付与されていることを特徴とする請求項1〜7の何れか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。 - 互いに対向するハブ輪の端面と外側継手部材の端面とを100MPa以下の面圧で接触させたことを特徴とする請求項1〜8の何れか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 凹部が形成される部材の圧入開始側の端部に、凸部の圧入をガイドするためのガイド部を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1〜9の何れか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- ボルト部材の座面とハブ輪との間にシール材を介在させたことを特徴とする請求項1〜10の何れか一項に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
