Abstract
【解決手段】エンジンは、ターボチャージャが作動する過給域において可変バルブタイミング機構が作動している高負荷での運転時に、上流側排気圧センサから得られた圧力値の時間平均と、予め定めた排気圧力目標値との差、或いは、タービン下流に設けられた下流側排気圧センサの出力値との差が一定以下となるように排気バルブの開きタイミングを遅角させる。

Claims (1)
- 過給機と、排気バルブの開弁タイミングを可変にする可変バルブタイミング機構と、過給機のタービン上流の排気圧力を測定する排気圧センサとをそなえた内燃機関であって、排気圧センサの出力値と予め定めた排気圧力目標値との差、或いは、タービン下流に設けられた下流側排気圧センサの出力値との差が一定以下となるように排気バルブの開きタイミングを遅角させることを特徴とする内燃機関。
