Abstract
【解決手段】電動車両に充電を行なうための充電接続装置は、車両に接続するための第1の接続端と、電源に接続するための第2の接続端と、第2の接続端から第1の接続端へ送電する送電経路上に設けられ、送電経路の開閉を行なうとともに、車両に送電電流の上限値の情報を送信する充電制御ユニット(CCID)とを備える。第2の接続端は、電源に接続するためのプラグを含む。プラグは、電源への接続部分の形状を複数の形状から選択可能に構成される。充電制御ユニットは、接続部分としてどのような形状が選択されているかを検出し、選択された形状に対応する上限値を情報として車両に送信する。

Description
たとえば、図4に示すように、OA機器接地箇所等に使用されるアース端子付きコンセント(たとえば、JISC8303の2極接地極付コンセント15A125V)には、その形状に合った15アンペアのプラグが一方端に設けられた充電ケーブルが使用される。充電ケーブルに設けられているコントロールボックス(CCID:Charge Cuurent Interruption Device)には15アンペアプラグに対応する上限電流値α(A)が設定されている。車両に充電ケーブルが接続されると、コントロールボックスから車両に上限電流値α(A)に対応する情報が送信される。車両に設けられた充電装置は、その情報に基づいて、充電電流を流すようにする。
たとえば、図5に示すように、エアコン設置箇所等に用いられるアース端子付大容量コンセント(JISC8323の2極接地極付コンセント20A125V)には、その形状に合った20アンペアのプラグが一方端に設けられた充電ケーブルが使用される。充電ケーブルに設けられているコントロールボックス(CCID:Charge Cuurent Interruption Device)には20アンペアプラグに対応する上限電流値β(A)が設定されている。車両に充電ケーブルが接続されると、コントロールボックスから車両に上限電流値β(A)に対応する情報が送信される。車両に設けられた充電装置は、その情報に基づいて、充電電流を流すようにする。
図3を参照して、充電ケーブルは、基本部分10と変換部分12A,12Bとを含む。基本部分10は、車両に設けられたインレットに接続するためのコネクタ2と、CCID3Aとを含む。

- 電動車両に充電を行なうための充電接続装置であって、
車両に接続するための第1の接続端と、
電源に接続するための第2の接続端と、
前記第2の接続端から前記第1の接続端へ送電する送電経路上に設けられ、前記送電経路の開閉を行なうとともに、車両に送電電流の上限値の情報を送信する充電制御ユニットとを備え、
前記第2の接続端は、
前記電源に接続するためのプラグを含み、
前記プラグは、電源への接続部分の形状を複数の形状から選択可能に構成され、
前記充電制御ユニットは、前記接続部分としてどのような形状が選択されているかを検出し、選択された形状に対応する前記上限値を前記情報として車両に送信する、充電接続装置。
