原子力発電所の事故などにより環境中に放出された放射性物質は、広域に亘って水、土壌、大気等を汚染し、深刻な問題を生じる。   Radioactive materials released into the environment due to accidents at nuclear power plants, etc., pollute water, soil, air, etc. over a wide area, causing serious problems.

特許文献1には、放射性物質を含む廃液を処理する技術として、粒径を355〜700μmに調整したゼオライトをカラムに充填し、該カラムに廃液を通水することによって、セシウム137を除去することが記載されている。   In Patent Document 1, as a technique for treating a waste liquid containing a radioactive substance, cesium 137 is removed by filling a column with zeolite having a particle size adjusted to 355 to 700 μm and passing the waste liquid through the column. Is described.

特開平8−271692号公報JP-A-8-271692

しかるに、原子力発電所の事故などで生じる放射性汚染水には、発電施設の爆発に伴う粉塵など懸濁物質が多く含まれている場合があり、そのままカラムに通水すると、カラムが詰まり処理を継続できなくなる。特許文献1には、あらかじめ、共沈により懸濁物質を除去することも記載されているが、共沈は長時間を要し工程数も増加する。   However, radioactive polluted water generated by accidents at nuclear power plants may contain a lot of suspended solids such as dust that accompanies the explosion of a power generation facility. become unable. Patent Document 1 also describes that suspended substances are removed by coprecipitation in advance, but coprecipitation takes a long time and the number of steps increases.

その結果、特許文献1に記載の技術では処理速度に限界があり、短時間に大量の汚染水を処理することができない。特に、原子力発電所の事故などのように、原子炉の冷却等のために大量の汚染水が連続的に生じる場合には不適である。   As a result, the technique described in Patent Document 1 has a limit in processing speed, and a large amount of contaminated water cannot be processed in a short time. In particular, it is not suitable when a large amount of contaminated water is continuously generated due to reactor cooling or the like, such as an accident at a nuclear power plant.

更に、特許文献1に記載の技術では、ゼオライトに対する放射性物質の吸着速度が十分に得られず、この点でも大量の汚染水を短時間に処理するためには不適であるといえる。   Furthermore, the technique described in Patent Document 1 does not provide a sufficient adsorption rate for radioactive substances on zeolite, and in this respect as well, it can be said that it is unsuitable for treating a large amount of contaminated water in a short time.

また更に、原子力発電所の事故などでは、水の他に、土壌や大気など汚染対象が多岐に亘るため、カラム式では十分な処理効率が得られない、あるいは対応できない場合が多い。   Furthermore, in the case of an accident at a nuclear power plant and the like, since there are a wide variety of pollutants such as soil and air in addition to water, there are many cases where sufficient efficiency cannot be obtained or handled by the column type.

そこで、本発明の課題は、放射性物質の吸着速度が速く、放射性汚染水の処理効率に優れ、多岐に亘る被処理物を処理できる放射性物質処理剤の製造方法、放射性物質処理剤、並びに、該放射性物質処理剤を用いた処理方法及び処理装置を提供することにある。   Accordingly, the problem of the present invention is that the radioactive substance treatment agent has a high radioactive substance adsorption rate, is excellent in the treatment efficiency of radioactive contaminated water, and can treat a wide variety of objects to be treated, the radioactive substance treatment agent, It is providing the processing method and processing apparatus using a radioactive substance processing agent.

以下、本発明の実施形態を説明する。   Embodiments of the present invention will be described below.

はじめに、本発明の放射性物質処理剤の製造方法を説明する。   First, the manufacturing method of the radioactive substance processing agent of this invention is demonstrated.

本発明の放射性物質処理剤の製造方法では、平均粒径5.0μm以下、好ましくは3.0μm以下のモルデナイトからなる天然ゼオライト微粒子を分散手段によって水中に分散してスラリー分散微粒子を生成するスラリー分散微粒子生成工程を備える。   In the method for producing a radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention, slurry dispersion in which natural zeolite fine particles comprising mordenite having an average particle diameter of 5.0 μm or less, preferably 3.0 μm or less is dispersed in water by a dispersing means to produce slurry dispersed fine particles. A fine particle production step is provided.

本発明では、人工的に化学合成された人工ゼオライトではなく、天然ゼオライトを用いる点に一つの特徴がある。天然ゼオライトは、地球の地殻における過酷な条件の中で生成されるため、人工ゼオライトよりも放射線に対する安定性に優れており、放射性物質に対する吸着性の失活を防止できる効果が得られるからである。   The present invention has one feature in that natural zeolite is used instead of artificially chemically synthesized zeolite. Because natural zeolite is produced under severe conditions in the earth's crust, it is superior in stability to radiation than artificial zeolite, and the effect of preventing adsorptive deactivation of radioactive substances can be obtained. .

天然ゼオライトとしては、モルデナイトやクリノプチロライトがあるが、本発明では、モルデナイトを用いる点にもう一つの特徴がある。モルデナイトは、セシウム及びストロンチウム等のカチオン性の放射性物質に対する吸着性がクリノプチロライトに対して格段に高いからである。   Natural zeolites include mordenite and clinoptilolite, but the present invention has another feature in that mordenite is used. This is because mordenite has a much higher adsorptivity to cationic radioactive materials such as cesium and strontium than clinoptilolite.

本発明で、平均粒径は、島津製作所製の粒度分布測定装置「SALD−200VER」によって測定できる。   In the present invention, the average particle size can be measured by a particle size distribution measuring device “SALD-200VER” manufactured by Shimadzu Corporation.

天然ゼオライト微粒子を水中へ分散する際の分散手段は、好ましくは超音波処理手段が用いられる。超音波処理手段としては、超音波発生装置を用いることができ、所定出力、所定周波数の超音波エネルギーを所定時間水に印加する手法が好ましく、超音波発生装置としては、例えば、室内試験においては、アズワン社製「USD−3R」などを、実際の生産においてはカイジョー社製「C−7356VS」などを用いることができる。   As the dispersing means for dispersing the natural zeolite fine particles in water, an ultrasonic treatment means is preferably used. As the ultrasonic processing means, an ultrasonic generator can be used, and a method of applying ultrasonic energy of a predetermined output and a predetermined frequency to water for a predetermined time is preferable. As the ultrasonic generator, for example, in an indoor test In addition, “USD-3R” manufactured by ASONE Co., Ltd. and “C-7356VS” manufactured by Kaijo Co., Ltd. can be used in actual production.

Further, as a dispersing means, it is also preferable to use a dispersant that chemically disperses the natural zeolite fine particles in order to easily maintain the state in which the natural zeolite fine particles are dispersed in water. Furthermore, it is also preferable to use a mechanical disperser such as a shaker as the dispersing means because it can be efficiently dispersed. The combined use of a dispersant and a mechanical disperser is preferable because the zeolite fine particles can be efficiently dispersed and an effect of easily maintaining the dispersed state can be obtained. When the above-described ultrasonic generator is used as the dispersing means, there are excellent effects in both efficient dispersion and dispersion state retention.

本発明では、このようにして天然ゼオライト微粒子を水中に分散させることによって、スラリー分散微粒子を生成する。きわめて微細なスラリー分散微粒子は、いったん分散すると、凝集することなく、分散状態を維持する。このため、分散処理を行った後、1日から3日程度経過しても分散しているのでそのまま処理剤として使用できる。   In the present invention, slurry fine particles are generated by dispersing natural zeolite fine particles in water in this way. Once dispersed, very fine slurry-dispersed fine particles maintain their dispersed state without agglomeration. For this reason, after performing the dispersion treatment, it can be used as it is because it is dispersed even after about 1 to 3 days.

In the present specification, “slurry dispersed fine particles” means that the radioactive substance treating agent is collected in a 500 mL measuring cylinder, the natural zeolite fine particle concentration in the range of 3 to 5 cm downward from the liquid level is C1, and from the bottom of the container upward. When the natural zeolite fine particle concentration in the range of 3 to 5 cm is C2, the relationship of C2 / C1 ≦ 1.2 is maintained even after standing for at least 1 day, preferably 3 days or more from the dispersion step. It refers to the state that can be done. Here, the natural zeolite fine particle concentrations C1 and C2 are values measured as SS concentrations according to JIS K-0102.

In another embodiment of producing the radioactive substance treating agent in the present invention, for example, after natural zeolite fine particles are dispersed in water by a dispersing means, the electric conductivity (EC) of the dispersion is preferably 25 to 35 (mS / m) is adjusted to a relatively high range and allowed to stand for 24 hours or longer to separate the supernatant layer into a concentrated slurry layer composed of concentrated slurry-dispersed fine particles, and then the supernatant layer is removed and concentrated. The method of collect | recovering a slurry layer as a radioactive substance processing agent is mentioned. In other words, this is a method of making a dilute slurry of natural zeolite fine particles into a high-concentration slurry by adjusting the electrical conductivity of water. In this case, the dispersion state of the natural zeolite fine particles can be suitably maintained as slurry dispersed fine particles, and a radioactive substance treating agent containing the natural zeolite fine particles in a high concentration can be generated. The electrical conductivity (EC) of water can be adjusted with, for example, HCl, NaCl, NaOH, or the like. Moreover, if seawater is used as water, it can be easily set to a relatively high EC range, which is preferable.

In the present invention, the natural zeolite fine particles are preferably dispersed in water as slurry dispersed fine particles in a state adjusted to 5 to 40% by weight. It is also preferable to adjust the concentration of the natural zeolite fine particles according to the situation at the site. Low concentration slurry of 5 to 20% by weight has high fluidity and properties close to water, so widely used distribution pipe equipment and supply pumps can be used. Selection of supply equipment, etc. Is easy. On the other hand, a high concentration slurry having a concentration of 20 to 40% by weight can remove radioactive materials with a small amount of addition, and therefore can save labor for packing, transporting and storing slurry materials. In some cases, it is also effective to combine, after packing, transporting and storing with a high-concentration slurry, diluting with water at the time of addition to form a low-concentration slurry, and then adding it.

以上の製法により得られる放射性物質処理剤は、平均粒径が5.0μm以下、好ましくは、3.0μm以下に調剤された天然ゼオライト微粒子が、水中に分散したスラリー分散微粒子を含む処理剤である。   The radioactive substance treatment agent obtained by the above production method is a treatment agent comprising slurry dispersed fine particles in which natural zeolite fine particles having an average particle diameter of 5.0 μm or less, preferably 3.0 μm or less, are dispersed in water. .

すなわち、本発明において、ゼオライト微粒子の平均粒径を5.0μm以下、好ましくは、3.0μm以下の微細粒子とすることにより、ゼオライト微粒子がスラリー化して、水中において分散状態を良好に保持することができ、ゼオライトの沈殿を防止することができる。   That is, in the present invention, the fine particles of zeolite fine particles having an average particle diameter of 5.0 μm or less, preferably 3.0 μm or less, make the fine particles of the slurry into a slurry and maintain a good dispersion state in water. And precipitation of zeolite can be prevented.

これにより、ゼオライト微粒子が水中を漂うように保持されるため、放射性物質に対して接触する機会が増加し、放射性物質の吸着速度が格段に速くなる。   Thereby, since the zeolite fine particles are held so as to float in water, the chance of contact with the radioactive substance is increased, and the adsorption speed of the radioactive substance is remarkably increased.

更に、ゼオライト微粒子の平均粒径を5.0μm以下、好ましくは、3.0μm以下の超微細粒子とすることにより、ゼオライト微粒子の内部細孔が表面に露出するため、比表面積が格段に大きくなり、放射性物質に対する吸着活性が飛躍的に向上する。これにより、ゼオライトの単位重量あたりの吸着量が増加するため、ゼオライトの使用量を削減できる効果も得られる。   Furthermore, by making the average particle size of the zeolite fine particles 5.0 μm or less, preferably 3.0 μm or less, the internal pores of the zeolite fine particles are exposed on the surface, so that the specific surface area is greatly increased. In addition, the adsorptive activity for radioactive substances is dramatically improved. Thereby, since the adsorption amount per unit weight of zeolite increases, the effect that the amount of zeolite used can be reduced is also obtained.

従って、本発明の放射性物質処理剤によれば、放射性物質の吸着速度が速く、放射性汚染水の処理効率に優れる効果が得られる。   Therefore, according to the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention, an effect of fast adsorption of the radioactive substance and excellent treatment efficiency of radioactive contaminated water can be obtained.

本発明では、天然ゼオライト微粒子を水中にスラリー状に分散させているがゆえに、放射性物質に対する吸着性を好適に有すると共に液体と同様に取り扱うことが可能である。これにより、特許文献1に記載された従来のカラム式の放射性物質の処理方法とは全く異なる放射性物質の処理方法を実現することができる。   In the present invention, since natural zeolite fine particles are dispersed in water in a slurry state, it has an adsorptivity to a radioactive substance and can be handled in the same manner as a liquid. Thereby, the processing method of the radioactive substance completely different from the conventional column-type radioactive substance processing method described in Patent Document 1 can be realized.

本発明の放射性物質処理剤の他の態様としては、上記のように製造方法によって得られる場合に限らず、モルデナイトからなる天然ゼオライトを微粉砕して得られた平均粒径5.0μm以下、好ましくは3.0μm以下の天然ゼオライト微粒子を水中に分散してなるものであればよい。   Other embodiments of the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention are not limited to those obtained by the production method as described above, and preferably have an average particle size of 5.0 μm or less obtained by pulverizing natural zeolite made of mordenite. May be obtained by dispersing natural zeolite fine particles of 3.0 μm or less in water.

すなわち、この態様においても、ゼオライト微粒子がスラリー化して、水中において分散状態を良好に保持することができ、ゼオライトの沈殿を防止することができ、ゼオライト微粒子が水中を漂うように保持されるため、放射性物質に対して接触する機会が増加し、放射性物質の吸着速度が格段に速くなる。   That is, also in this embodiment, the zeolite fine particles are slurried and can be well maintained in a dispersed state in water, the zeolite can be prevented from being precipitated, and the zeolite fine particles are retained so as to float in water. Opportunities for contact with radioactive materials are increased, and the adsorption rate of radioactive materials is significantly increased.

また、本発明の放射性物質処理剤は、放射性物質を吸着後のゼオライト微粒子を処理水等から分離する際の分離性や回収性の観点から、ゼオライト微粒子の平均粒径が0.5μm以上であることが好ましい。   Further, the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention has an average particle diameter of 0.5 μm or more from the viewpoint of separability and recoverability when separating the zeolite fine particles after adsorption of the radioactive substance from the treated water or the like. It is preferable.

本発明において、平均粒径が5.0μm以下、好ましくは、3.0μm以下の天然ゼオライト微粒子を得る方法は格別限定されず、例えば、モルデナイトからなる天然ゼオライトを、微粉砕手段によって粉砕することにより好適に得ることができる。   In the present invention, the method for obtaining natural zeolite fine particles having an average particle diameter of 5.0 μm or less, preferably 3.0 μm or less is not particularly limited. For example, natural zeolite made of mordenite is pulverized by a pulverizing means. It can be suitably obtained.

微粉砕手段としては、格別限定されるわけではないが、たとえば磨砕処理機が用いられる。磨砕処理機としては、例えば、増幸産業社製「スーパーマスコロイダーMKCA6−2」を用いることができる。   The pulverizing means is not particularly limited, but for example, a grinding processor is used. As the grinding processor, for example, “Super Mass Colloider MKCA6-2” manufactured by Masuko Sangyo Co., Ltd. can be used.

微粉砕手段に投入されるモルデナイトは、格別限定されるものではないが、94μm以下の範囲の平均粒径のモルデナイトが好ましく用いられる。   The mordenite charged into the pulverizing means is not particularly limited, but mordenite having an average particle size in the range of 94 μm or less is preferably used.

以上に説明した放射性物質処理剤を用いると、セシウムまたはストロンチウムの何れか1種または2種を含むカチオン性放射性物質を含む汚染物質(被処理物)を分離除去できる。   When the radioactive substance treating agent described above is used, it is possible to separate and remove contaminants (objects to be treated) containing a cationic radioactive substance containing one or two of cesium and strontium.

カチオン性放射性物質を含む汚染物質としては、放射線汚染廃水、放射性物質を含む土壌、放射性物質を含む汚染排ガスなどがあげられる。   Examples of pollutants containing cationic radioactive substances include radioactive polluted wastewater, soil containing radioactive substances, and polluted exhaust gas containing radioactive substances.

カチオン性放射性物質としては、セシウムやストロンチウム等のカチオン性を示す放射性物質を好ましく例示できる。なお、ストロンチウムを処理する場合は、pHが3以上の条件において放射性物質処理剤を汚染物質と接触させることが、より高い除去率を得る上で好ましい。   Preferred examples of the cationic radioactive substance include cationic radioactive substances such as cesium and strontium. In the case of treating strontium, it is preferable to bring the radioactive substance treating agent into contact with a contaminant under a condition where the pH is 3 or more in order to obtain a higher removal rate.

まず、本発明に係る放射線汚染廃水の処理方法の一例について説明する。   First, an example of the processing method of the radiation pollution wastewater which concerns on this invention is demonstrated.

図1は、本発明に係る放射線汚染廃水の処理方法を実施するための放射線汚染廃水の処理装置の一例を示すブロック図である。   FIG. 1 is a block diagram showing an example of a treatment apparatus for radiation-contaminated wastewater for carrying out the method for treating radiation-contaminated wastewater according to the present invention.

図1において、10は、カチオン性放射性物質であるセシウムまたはストロンチウムの何れか1種または2種を含む放射線汚染廃水を貯留する水槽であり、20は、吸着反応管であり、30は、吸着反応管20の下流に設けられた固液分離手段であり、40は、固液分離手段30で得られた固相を脱水する脱水手段である。また、21は、放射線汚染廃水を水槽10から引き抜き、吸着反応管20に圧送する原水ポンプである。   In FIG. 1, 10 is a water tank for storing radioactive contamination wastewater containing either one or two of cesium or strontium which are cationic radioactive substances, 20 is an adsorption reaction tube, and 30 is an adsorption reaction. A solid-liquid separation means provided downstream of the tube 20 is a dehydration means 40 for dehydrating the solid phase obtained by the solid-liquid separation means 30. Reference numeral 21 denotes a raw water pump that extracts radiation-contaminated wastewater from the water tank 10 and pumps it to the adsorption reaction tube 20.

更に、50は、本発明の放射性物質処理剤を貯留する貯留タンクであり、注入配管51を介して吸着反応管20に接続されている。52は、放射性物質処理剤を貯留タンク50から引きぬき、注入配管51に圧送するポンプである。注入配管51は、ここでは静的混合器22によって吸着反応管20に接続されているが、単に注入配管51を吸着反応管20に直接接続してもよい。   Furthermore, 50 is a storage tank for storing the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention, and is connected to the adsorption reaction tube 20 via an injection pipe 51. A pump 52 pulls out the radioactive substance treating agent from the storage tank 50 and pumps it to the injection pipe 51. Here, the injection pipe 51 is connected to the adsorption reaction tube 20 by the static mixer 22, but the injection pipe 51 may be simply connected directly to the adsorption reaction tube 20.

In the method for treating radiation-contaminated wastewater according to the present invention, when the radioactive substance treating agent from the injection pipe 51 is added to the radiation-contaminated wastewater pumped to the adsorption reaction tube 20, the radiation-contaminated wastewater is introduced into the adsorption reaction tube 20. And the radioactive substance treatment agent are stirred and mixed by the liquid flow, and the cationic radioactive substance in the radiation-contaminated wastewater is quickly adsorbed on the dispersed natural zeolite fine particles contained in the radioactive substance treatment agent. In this way, the cationic radioactive material of the radiation-contaminated wastewater is captured in the solid phase by the natural zeolite fine particles, and is quickly removed from the radiation-contaminated wastewater.

特に本発明では、あらかじめ水に分散された状態のスラリー分散微粒子が、放射線汚染廃水に速やかに拡散されるため、速やかに吸着が開始される。   In particular, in the present invention, since the slurry-dispersed fine particles dispersed in water in advance are quickly diffused into the radiation-contaminated wastewater, the adsorption is started quickly.

Thus, since the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention is excellent in the adsorption rate for the cationic radioactive substance, it is possible to perform efficient adsorption within a relatively short contact time in the adsorption reaction tube 20. In addition, it is preferable to perform adsorption in a closed system in the adsorption reaction tube 20 as described above in order to prevent the radioactive substance from being released to the outside. Further, since the adsorption reaction can be carried out in the pipe and a complicated apparatus is not required, an effect that can be easily carried out can be obtained particularly at the accident site of a nuclear power plant where the operation is difficult due to radioactivity.

Furthermore, in the present invention, if a high concentration slurry having a natural zeolite fine particle concentration of about 20 to 40% by weight is added to the radioactive substance treatment agent introduced into the radiation contaminated wastewater, a small amount of slurry material is required. Since the amount of zeolite can be supplied, even if the reaction time is a short time in a relatively narrow space such as the adsorption reaction tube 20, there is an effect that a high removal efficiency can be achieved. On the other hand, when the amount of wastewater treated is relatively large, a method of adding a low-concentration slurry diluted with water in advance or a low-concentration slurry diluted with water immediately before the addition can be preferably used. As a result, the dispersibility of the resin increases and the processing effect is enhanced.

かかる吸着工程の後に、固液分離手段30によって、カチオン性放射性物質を吸着した天然ゼオライト微粒子と放射性物質が除去された処理水に固液分離する固液分離工程を設けることができる。   After this adsorption step, a solid-liquid separation step can be provided in which the solid-liquid separation means 30 separates the natural zeolite fine particles adsorbed with the cationic radioactive substance into the treated water from which the radioactive substance has been removed.

In the present invention, the solid-liquid separation means 30 is not particularly limited, and a precipitation tank, a centrifuge, a membrane filtration device, or the like can be preferably exemplified, and it is also preferable to use a combination of these solid-liquid separation means. In particular, when a large amount of radiation-contaminated wastewater is treated in a short time, it is preferable to use a membrane filtration device that can easily perform the treatment at a high speed. As the membrane filtration device, a resin membrane may be used, but it is also preferable to use a metal membrane in order to suitably avoid deterioration caused by polymer cutting by radiation. In order to improve solid-liquid separation, inorganic or organic flocculants can be used.

なお、凝集剤を用いて固液分離を行う際は、フロック形成を促進させて分離を効率化する上で、廃水中の天然ゼオライト微粒子を含むSS濃度が、1500〜5000mg/Lの範囲であることが好ましい。   When solid-liquid separation is performed using a flocculant, the SS concentration including natural zeolite fine particles in wastewater is in the range of 1500 to 5000 mg / L in order to promote floc formation and improve the efficiency of separation. It is preferable.

固液分離工程で固液分離されたカチオン性放射性物質を吸着した天然ゼオライト微粒子は、次いで、脱水手段40に供され、脱水されることが好ましい。   It is preferable that the natural zeolite fine particles adsorbing the cationic radioactive substance separated in the solid-liquid separation step in the solid-liquid separation step are then supplied to the dehydrating means 40 and dehydrated.

脱水手段40としては、格別限定されないが、フィルタプレス等を好ましく例示できる。   Although it does not specifically limit as the dehydrating means 40, A filter press etc. can be illustrated preferably.

固液分離工程及び/又は脱水工程で生成した処理水は、回収して、例えばアニオン性の放射性物質を除去する工程に供することができる。   The treated water generated in the solid-liquid separation step and / or the dehydration step can be recovered and used for a step of removing, for example, an anionic radioactive substance.

In the present invention, it is preferable to vitrify the dehydrated cake made of natural zeolite fine particles adsorbing the cationic radioactive material after dehydration by heating and melting in an unillustrated electric melting furnace or the like. That is, since it is a natural zeolite fine particle, itself can be vitrified suitably. In particular, since it is in the form of fine particles in a dispersed state, heat passes well, so it is easily heated and melted and vitrified in a relatively short time. Furthermore, since it is in the form of fine particles in a dispersed state, the cationic radioactive substance can be contained in a relatively uniformly dispersed state in the glass, and the effect of inhibiting the fission chain reaction can be obtained.

次に、本発明に係る放射性物質を含む土壌の処理方法の一例について説明する。   Next, an example of the processing method of the soil containing the radioactive substance which concerns on this invention is demonstrated.

まず、セシウムまたはストロンチウムの何れか1種または2種を含むカチオン性放射性物質を含む汚染土壌と、本発明の放射性物質処理剤を混合撹拌する。本発明では、天然ゼオライト微粒子がスラリー状に分散した状態であるため、汚染土壌との混合効率が得られ易い効果を奏する。   First, the contaminated soil containing a cationic radioactive substance containing either one or two of cesium or strontium and the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention are mixed and stirred. In the present invention, since the natural zeolite fine particles are dispersed in a slurry state, the mixing efficiency with the contaminated soil is easily obtained.

汚染土壌に含まれるカチオン性放射性物質が天然ゼオライト微粒子に吸着される。即ち、放射性物質を土壌から分散微粒子側に移行させることにより、汚染土壌を洗浄する。   Cationic radioactive materials contained in the contaminated soil are adsorbed on the natural zeolite fine particles. That is, contaminated soil is washed by transferring radioactive substances from the soil to the dispersed fine particles.

次いで、分級処理工程を設けることによって、放射性物質が除去された土壌と放射性物質を吸着した天然ゼオライト微粒子に分級処理することができる。   Next, by providing a classification treatment step, it is possible to classify the soil from which the radioactive substance has been removed and the natural zeolite fine particles adsorbed with the radioactive substance.

次に、本発明に係る放射性物質を含む汚染排ガスの処理方法の一例について図2を参照して説明する。   Next, an example of the processing method of the polluted exhaust gas containing the radioactive substance according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.

図2は、本発明に係る放射性物質を含む汚染排ガスの処理方法を実施するための汚染排ガス処理装置の一例を示すブロック図である。図1と同じ符号は、同一構成を指している。   FIG. 2 is a block diagram showing an example of a contaminated exhaust gas treatment apparatus for carrying out the method for treating contaminated exhaust gas containing radioactive substances according to the present invention. The same reference numerals as those in FIG. 1 indicate the same configuration.

図2において、11は、セシウムまたはストロンチウムの何れか1種または2種を含むカチオン性放射性物質を含む汚染排ガスを発生する汚染排ガス発生源であり、12は、汚染排ガス発生源11を密封するように覆う被覆部材である。   In FIG. 2, 11 is a polluted exhaust gas source that generates a polluted exhaust gas containing a cationic radioactive material containing either one or two of cesium or strontium, and 12 is a seal for the polluted exhaust gas source 11 It is the covering member which covers.

13は、被覆部材12の開口部を介して被覆部材12内部の汚染排ガスを移送する移送配管である。被覆部材12内部の汚染排ガスは、ブロワ14により吸引され、移送配管13に圧送されるようにしている。   Reference numeral 13 denotes a transfer pipe that transfers the contaminated exhaust gas inside the covering member 12 through the opening of the covering member 12. The contaminated exhaust gas inside the covering member 12 is sucked by the blower 14 and is pumped to the transfer pipe 13.

The transfer pipe 13 is connected to the above-described adsorption reaction tube 20 via a static mixer 22, that is, a static mixer 23 provided upstream of the mixing portion of the adsorption reaction tube 20 and the injection pipe 51. Has been. That is, prior to the addition of the radioactive substance treating agent, the contaminated exhaust gas is injected into the radiation-contaminated wastewater pumped in the adsorption reaction tube 20 in advance, and the cationic radioactive substance in the contaminated exhaust gas is dissolved in the radiation-contaminated wastewater. deep. Thus, in the present invention, in order to quickly adsorb to the natural zeolite fine particles, the cationic radioactive substance in the polluted exhaust gas can be brought into gas-liquid contact with the radioactive substance treating agent in a state of being dissolved in water in advance. preferable.

このように、本発明によれば、汚染排ガスと放射線汚染廃水とを同時に、同一の装置で処理することができるため、装置の省スペース化を実現できる。特に、原子力発電所の事故などの場合、装置の設置スペースを確保することが困難であるため、顕著な効果を奏する。   Thus, according to the present invention, the polluted exhaust gas and the radiation-contaminated wastewater can be simultaneously processed by the same apparatus, so that space saving of the apparatus can be realized. In particular, in the case of an accident at a nuclear power plant or the like, it is difficult to secure a space for installing the apparatus, and thus a remarkable effect is achieved.

以上の例においても、図1に示した例と同様に、吸着工程後の放射線汚染廃水を、固液分離工程、脱水工程、ガラス化処理工程に供して処理することができる。   Also in the above example, similarly to the example shown in FIG. 1, the radiation-contaminated waste water after the adsorption process can be subjected to a solid-liquid separation process, a dehydration process, and a vitrification process.

次に、本発明に係る放射性物質を含む汚染排ガスの処理方法の他の例について図3を参照して説明する。   Next, another example of the method for treating contaminated exhaust gas containing radioactive substances according to the present invention will be described with reference to FIG.

図3は、本発明に係る放射性物質を含む汚染排ガスの処理方法を実施するための汚染排ガス処理装置の他の例を示すブロック図である。図2と同じ符号は、同一構成を指している。   FIG. 3 is a block diagram showing another example of the contaminated exhaust gas treatment apparatus for carrying out the method for treating a contaminated exhaust gas containing a radioactive substance according to the present invention. The same reference numerals as those in FIG. 2 indicate the same configuration.

図3において、60は気液接触手段であり、ここでは気液接触塔から構成されている。移送配管13からの汚染排ガスは、気液接触塔60の下部に設けられた散気管61から、該気液接触塔60内に貯留されている本発明の放射性物質処理剤中に散気され、気液接触するようにしている。   In FIG. 3, reference numeral 60 denotes a gas-liquid contact means, which is composed of a gas-liquid contact tower here. The polluted exhaust gas from the transfer pipe 13 is diffused from the diffuser pipe 61 provided at the lower part of the gas-liquid contact tower 60 into the radioactive material treating agent of the present invention stored in the gas-liquid contact tower 60, Gas-liquid contact is made.

62は、気液接触塔60内のヘッドスペースに接続された配管であり、気液接触によりカチオン性放射性物質が除去された処理ガスを回収することを可能としている。   62 is a pipe connected to the head space in the gas-liquid contact tower 60, which makes it possible to collect the processing gas from which the cationic radioactive material has been removed by gas-liquid contact.

気液接触塔60内に貯留されている放射性物質処理剤は、新たな放射性物質処理剤と置換可能に構成されている。つまり、気液接触後の放射性物質処理剤は、抜き出し配管63から適宜排出されると共に、新たな放射性物質処理剤が、放射性物質処理剤を貯留する貯留タンク50から、配管53を介して適宜補充される。54は、貯留タンク50から気液接触塔60内に放射性物質処理剤を移送する移送ポンプである。   The radioactive substance treatment agent stored in the gas-liquid contact tower 60 is configured to be replaceable with a new radioactive substance treatment agent. That is, the radioactive substance treatment agent after the gas-liquid contact is appropriately discharged from the extraction pipe 63, and a new radioactive substance treatment agent is appropriately supplemented from the storage tank 50 storing the radioactive substance treatment agent through the pipe 53. Is done. Reference numeral 54 denotes a transfer pump that transfers the radioactive substance treating agent from the storage tank 50 into the gas-liquid contact tower 60.

抜き出し配管63から排出された気液接触後の放射性物質処理剤、つまり放射性物質を吸着した天然ゼオライト微粒子は、図1に示した例と同様にして、固液分離工程、脱水工程、ガラス化処理工程に供して処理することができる。   The radioactive substance treating agent discharged from the extraction pipe 63 after contact with the gas, that is, the natural zeolite fine particles adsorbing the radioactive substance, is a solid-liquid separation step, a dehydration step, a vitrification treatment in the same manner as the example shown in FIG. It can be processed in the process.

以上の説明では、放射性物質により汚染された被処理物に本発明の放射性物質処理剤を接触させ、カチオン性放射性物質をゼオライト微粒子に吸着させた後、カチオン性放射性物質を吸着した天然ゼオライト微粒子を被処理物から分離除去する場合について示したが、本発明においては、カチオン性放射性物質を吸着した天然ゼオライト微粒子を必ずしも被処理物から分離除去しなくてもよい。   In the above description, the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention is brought into contact with the workpiece contaminated with the radioactive substance, the cationic radioactive substance is adsorbed on the zeolite fine particles, and then the natural zeolite fine particles adsorbing the cationic radioactive substance are removed. In the present invention, the natural zeolite fine particles adsorbing the cationic radioactive material are not necessarily separated and removed from the object to be treated.

つまり、本発明において、天然ゼオライト微粒子に吸着された状態のカチオン性放射性物質は、該天然ゼオライト微粒子に捕捉され脱離が防止された状態にある。そのため、遊離状態のカチオン性放射性物質と比較して、天然ゼオライト微粒子に吸着した状態のカチオン性放射性物質は、環境に及ぼす害が大幅に低減する。   That is, in the present invention, the cationic radioactive substance adsorbed on the natural zeolite fine particles is in a state where it is captured by the natural zeolite fine particles and desorption is prevented. Therefore, as compared with the free-state cationic radioactive material, the cationic radioactive material in the state adsorbed on the natural zeolite fine particles greatly reduces the harm to the environment.

For example, the case where the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention is sprayed on the ocean contaminated with a cationic radioactive substance will be described. In other words, even if the natural zeolite fine particles adsorbed with the cationic radioactive substance remain in the ocean without being recovered and are taken into the living body of fish and shellfish, the cationic radioactive substance is absorbed while adsorbed on the natural zeolite fine particles. It is excreted without. That is, bioconcentration can be remarkably prevented as compared with the case where fish and shellfish ingest a free cationic radioactive substance that is easily concentrated in the body. Moreover, since natural zeolite fine particles themselves are harmless to living organisms, even if they remain in the environment, they do not easily cause harm to living organisms. That is, in the present invention, even if natural zeolite fine particles are not necessarily recovered, the movement of the cationic radioactive substance from the ocean to the seafood is prevented, and an effect of preventing bioconcentration can be obtained. The same applies to fresh water.

The same applies to the case of spraying on soil contaminated with a cationic radioactive substance. That is, for example, when sprayed on agricultural land contaminated with cationic radioactive material, the cationic radioactive material adsorbed on the natural zeolite fine particles is absorbed from the plant roots compared to the free cationic radioactive material. hard. That is, even if natural zeolite fine particles are not necessarily recovered, the movement of the cationic radioactive material from the soil into the crop is prevented, and an effect of preventing bioconcentration can be obtained.

Further, the cationic radioactive material released into the environment due to an accident at a nuclear power plant adheres to, for example, a house or a car. Even if solid zeolite is dispersed and brought into contact with a house or an automobile, it is difficult to remove the cationic radioactive substance. On the other hand, if the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention is used, the radioactive substance is removed. The water contained in the treating agent dissolves the radioactive substance and can be adsorbed as it is on the dispersed natural zeolite fine particles made of zeolite. As described above, if the cationic radioactive material is adsorbed on the natural zeolite fine particles, an effect of reducing the risk to the environment can be obtained.

さらに、本発明の放射性物質処理剤であれば、液体と同様に扱うことができるため、家屋や自動車などの狭い間隙部にも好適に浸透し、カチオン性放射性物質を吸着する。本発明の放射性物質処理剤は、ゼオライトの平均粒子径が極めて小であり、それらがスラリー状に分散された状態にあるため、スプレー等の散布手段による散布も容易となる効果を奏する。   Furthermore, since the radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention can be handled in the same manner as a liquid, it suitably penetrates into narrow gaps such as houses and automobiles, and adsorbs cationic radioactive substances. The radioactive substance treating agent of the present invention has an extremely small average particle diameter of zeolite and is in a state of being dispersed in a slurry state, and therefore has an effect of facilitating dispersion by a spraying means such as a spray.

以下に、本発明の実施例を説明するが、本発明はかかる実施例によって限定されない。   Examples of the present invention will be described below, but the present invention is not limited to such examples.

<評価>
表4及び図7、8に示すグラフより、平均粒径が5μmのゼオライト微粒子を用いた実施例4では、平均粒径が800μmの比較例1と比較して、格段に短い時間で、高いセシウム除去率を達成することがわかる。
<Evaluation>
From the graphs shown in Table 4 and FIGS. 7 and 8, in Example 4 using zeolite fine particles having an average particle diameter of 5 μm, the cesium is much higher in a shorter time than Comparative Example 1 having an average particle diameter of 800 μm. A radioactive material treating agent was added. The amount added was 30 mL / L, 40 mL / L, or 50 mL / L for each beaker. After adding the radioactive substance treating agent, the mixture was stirred at 140 rpm using a jar tester. The stirring time was 2.5 minutes for all beakers.

撹拌後、各々のビーカーに無機系凝集剤であるポリ塩化アルミニウム(PAC)を300mg/L(比重1.25なので60μl/250ml)添加し、140rpmで2分間撹拌し、その後撹拌速度を50rpmに低下させて更に2分間撹拌した。   After stirring, 300 mg / L of polyaluminum chloride (PAC), an inorganic flocculant, is added to each beaker (60 μl / 250 ml because the specific gravity is 1.25) and stirred for 2 minutes at 140 rpm, and then the stirring speed is reduced to 50 rpm. And stirred for another 2 minutes.

更に、高分子凝集剤を4mg/L(1000倍希釈なので1ml/250ml)添加し、140rpmで2分間撹拌し、その後撹拌速度を50rpmに低下させて更に2分間撹拌した。   Furthermore, 4 mg / L of the polymer flocculant (1 ml / 250 ml because it was diluted 1000 times) was added and stirred at 140 rpm for 2 minutes, and then the stirring speed was reduced to 50 rpm and stirring was continued for another 2 minutes.

Moreover, the cesium removal rate is computed from the change of the cesium density | concentration in treated water, and the cesium density | concentration of raw | natural water and treated water, The graph which plotted this with the addition amount of the radioactive substance processing agent is shown in FIG.

Figure 2012247405
Figure 2012247405

<評価>
表5及び図9に示すグラフより、試験を行った何れの添加量の場合においても、高い吸着能力が得られることがわかる。
<Evaluation>
It can be seen from the graphs shown in Table 5 and FIG. 9 that a high adsorption capacity can be obtained at any addition amount tested.

また、放射性物質処理剤の添加量を多くすることで、更にセシウム除去率が向上することがわかる。この理由としては、添加量を多くしたことにより、全体としてセシウム吸着面積が拡大したこと、及び、凝集剤によるフロック形成が促進されて固液分離の効率が向上したことが考えられる。   Moreover, it turns out that the cesium removal rate improves further by increasing the addition amount of a radioactive substance processing agent. This is considered to be because the cesium adsorption area was increased as a whole by increasing the addition amount, and the floc formation by the flocculant was promoted to improve the efficiency of solid-liquid separation.
