Abstract
Description
第1の実施形態では、本発明は、2つのグレードBまたはグレードC PCCと称される多孔質の安定な凝集物でかなり粗い(2−10μm)PCCの1つと下記する第2の特定のS−PCC(S−PCC=偏三角面体型PCC)顔料のブレンドまたはミックスを含む組成物に関する。
PCCグレードC/S−PCC(比=50/50);
PCCグレードB/S−PCC(比=70/30);及び
PCCグレードB/S−PCC(比=50/50)
(比は乾燥重量%である)。
実験1は、本発明のPCCグレードB/S−PCCの50/50乾燥重量%ブレンドに相当する。
実験2は、本発明のPCCグレードC/S−PCCの70/30乾燥重量%ブレンドに相当する。
スプリング荷重張力:70kgf(35kp/cm2)
印刷側に実験用紙を用いた3個の試験ストリップ
各側に一般的な新聞紙を用いた3個の試験ストリップ。
1.0cm3のインクを置く;
インクを8分間擦りこむ;
インクを圧力ディスクに1分間入れる;
2枚の印刷物(1つの上面、1つの下面)を作る;
更に0.060cm3のインクを加える;
4分間擦る;
インクを圧力ディスクに1分間入れる;
12枚印刷し続けた後、インクを再び入れる。
>5:限界。
(1)しかしながら、この文献は水性であり得、酸化的プロセスも採用できるフレキソグラフィーを用いて今日印刷されている大量の新聞用紙を考慮していない。
Claims (13)
- 「プリントショースルー」または「プリントストライクスルー」のようなプリントスルーの低下を示す製紙配合物用炭酸カルシウム、顔料及び/または填料を含む組成物であって、2つのグレードBまたはグレードC PCCと称される多孔性の安定な凝集物でかなり粗いPCCの1つと第2の特定のS−PCC(S=偏三角面体型PCC)顔料のブレンドまたはミックスを含むことを特徴とする、前記組成物。
- 前記2つの別個のPCC(沈降)炭酸カルシウム顔料PCCグレードBまたはPCCグレードCとS−PCCの混合物が顔料または填料であり得るより粗い第3成分を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の製紙配合物用炭酸カルシウム、顔料または填料の組成物。
- 前記第3のより粗い成分は天然(重質)炭酸カルシウムまたは(最も好ましくは)PCC(沈降炭酸カルシウム)、或いは任意選択によりタルク、カオリン、酸化チタンTiO2、クレーまたはドロマイトから選択されることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の組成物。
- PCCグレードBまたはPCCグレードC/S−PCC比は90/10から10/90乾燥重量%、具体的には80/20から20/80の範囲から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項1から3のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記比は
PCCグレードC/S−PCC(比=50/50)、
PCCグレードB/S−PCC(比=70/30)、及び
PCCグレードB/S−PCC(比=50/50)
(比は乾燥重量%である)
の中から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項4に記載の組成物。 - 本発明の顔料のブレンドの全量の乾燥重量%は好ましくは0.3から5%、最も好ましくは0.5から3%/最終紙製品の乾燥重量、更により好ましくは1.0から2.0%の範囲から選択されることを特徴とする、請求項2から5のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 前記%は2.0%であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 前記%は4.0%であることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の組成物。
- 「より粗い」顔料を選択するための主基準は、PCCグレードB(または、PCCグレードC)とS−PCCのブレンドと混合したときに前記ブレンドの粒度分布データの最細部分に顕著に影響を与えない粒度分布の特徴を有していなければならず、特に粒子<0.2μmの量に殆ど寄与してはならず、好ましくは<0.3μmの粒子の量、より好ましくは<0.5μmの粒子の量、最も好ましくは<1μmの粒子の量に全く寄与してはならないことであることを特徴とする、請求項2から8のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- より粗い顔料vs.3種(PCCグレードBまたはグレードC)+(S−PCC)+(より粗い顔料)の全量の比率は10重量%以下でなければならず、好ましい範囲は0.1から10重量%、好ましくは0.5から7−10重量%、最も好ましくは2から7重量%であることを特徴とする、請求項2から9のいずれかに記載の組成物。
- 表1の試験INV4、実験2または実験1に詳記されている粒度分布を示すことを特徴とする、請求項1、4及び5のいずれか一項に記載の組成物。
- 有効量、具体的には0.3から5%、最も好ましくは0.5から3%/最終紙製品の乾燥重量、更により好ましくは1.0から2.0%の請求項1から11のいずれかに記載の組成物を含むことを特徴とする、製紙用繊維含有パルプまたはストック。
- 請求項12に記載のパルプまたはストックから製造される紙製品。
