Description
Claims (13)
- 海底採鉱機によって海底の固形物を採鉱するステップと、
ジャンパーを通して海底採鉱機から固形物を圧送するステップと、
ジャンパーからライザを上がって海上船舶まで固形物を圧送するステップとを含む、深海採鉱の方法。 - 海底採鉱機と少なくとも1つの海底ポンプとの間の距離を監視するステップと、
海底採鉱機に対する力を最小限に抑える許容差の範囲内に2つのステーの間の距離を確保するように、海底採鉱機と少なくとも1つの海底ポンプとの間の距離を調整するステップとをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。 - 固形物が、海底塊状硫化物鉱床である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 固形物を脱水するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 海底の近くの固形物を圧送するのに使用される廃水を排出するステップをさらに含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 圧送するステップが、少なくとも1つの海底ポンプによって行われる、請求項1に記載の方法。

固形物が、海底から採鉱され、海上船舶まで圧送される、システム。 - 固形物が、海底塊状硫化物鉱床である、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 固形物を脱水するための海上ポンプをさらに備える、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 廃水が、海底の近くに排出される、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- ポンプモジュールが、海底の近くに配置される海底モジュールである、請求項8に記載のシステム。
- 深海採鉱システムを展開させる方法であって、
アセンブリを形成する海底ポンプモジュールの頂部にライザハングオフ構造物を積み重ねるステップと、
吊持機構によってアセンブリを持ち上げるステップと、
ムーンプールにアセンブリを懸架するステップと、
第1のライザ継手を取り付けるステップと、
アセンブリからライザハングオフ構造物を切り離すステップと、
ライザを形成するように少なくとも1つの第2のライザ継手を取り付けるステップとを含む、方法。
