Abstract

CXY=CX(CX2)o(CH2)p−J

Claims (20)
- 補強されたチューブ状の医療装置を連続工程で形成する方法であって、
線状に移動可能な細長いコアを準備するステップと、
前記コアの移動した部分の周りに細長いチューブ状部材を形成するステップであって、
前記細長いチューブ状部材が、
前記コアの前記移動した部分の周りに官能化ポリマーのコーティングを形成するステップ、
前記移動した部分に沿って前記官能化ポリマーのコーティングの外側表面に補強材を形成するステップ、及び
前記移動した部分に沿って前記官能化ポリマー及び前記補強材を覆うようにポリマー製のアウタージャケットを形成するステップ、
によって形成され、それにより、前記官能化ポリマーと前記ポリマー製のアウタージャケットの間が結合される、細長いチューブ状部材を形成するステップと、
前記チューブ状の医療装置を製作するために、前記細長いチューブ状部材を切断するステップと、
前記チューブ状の医療装置から前記コアを取り除くステップと、
を含む方法。 - 前記官能化ポリマーが前記コアの移動した部分の周りに押出成形によって形成される、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記官能化ポリマーが熱可塑性ポリマーから成る、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーがフッ素ポリマーから成る、請求項3に記載の方法。
- 前記官能化ポリマーがエチレンフッ素化エチレンプロピレンから成る、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記官能化ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレンから成る、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー製のアウタージャケットが前記官能化ポリマー及び前記補強材を覆うように押出成形によって形成される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー製のアウタージャケットがポリエーテルブロックアミド、ポリアミド、ポリウレタン、又はポリオレフィンから成る、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記補強材を形成するステップが、コイル又はブレード補強材を形成するために前記官能化ポリマーの周りにワイヤを巻き付けるステップを含む、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記コアがアセタールから成り、前記官能化ポリマーがフッ素化エチレンプロピレンから成り、前記補強材が平坦なワイヤコイルから成る、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記官能化ポリマーのコーティング及び前記コアがスプールに回収され、前記補強材は、前記官能化ポリマー及び前記コアが前記スプールから巻きを解かれている最中に形成される、請求項2に記載の方法。
- 前記補強材を形成する前に、前記官能化ポリマーのコーティングを軟化させるステップを含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記官能化ポリマーのコーティング及び前記補強材が第2のスプールに回収される、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマー製のアウタージャケットが、前記官能化ポリマー及び前記補強材が前記第2のスプールから巻きを解かれている最中に押出成形により形成される、請求項13に記載の方法。
- 官能化ポリマーから成るインナーライナーと、
前記インナーライナーの外側表面を覆って配置された補強材と、
前記補強材を覆って配置され前記インナーライナーに結合されるポリマー製のアウタージャケットと、
を備える、補強されたチューブ状部材。 - 前記インナーライナーが押出成形された層から成る、請求項15に記載の補強されたチューブ状部材。
- 前記アウタージャケットが押出成形された層から成る、請求項16に記載の補強されたチューブ状部材。
- 前記官能化ポリマーが熱可塑性フッ素ポリマーから成る、請求項15に記載の補強されたチューブ状部材。
- 前記フッ素ポリマーがエチレンフッ素化エチレンプロピレンから成る、請求項18に記載の補強されたチューブ状部材。
- 前記官能化ポリマーが高密度ポリエチレンから成る、請求項15に記載の補強されたチューブ状部材。
