The present invention relates to a microscope system that magnifies and observes a specimen by touch operation using a touch panel.

In recent years, in a microscope system, a technique is known in which each component of a microscope apparatus is operated by an operation controller using a touch panel instead of an operation controller such as a joystick or a hand switch (see Patent Document 1). In this technique, operation information indicating the operation of each of the plurality of electric units included in the microscope system is displayed in the display area of the display monitor, and a position signal corresponding to the contact position of the object from the outside output from the touch panel Intuitive operation is made possible by driving and controlling the electric unit of the microscope apparatus according to the above.

However, the above-described technique has a problem that the electric unit of the microscope apparatus does not operate as the user touches the touch panel. Therefore, the microscope is operated after the user performs an operation on the touch panel. There is a time difference until the electric unit of the apparatus is driven, and the user may determine that the electric unit is not driven and perform an erroneous operation such as operating the touch panel more than necessary.

The present invention has been made in view of the above, and an object thereof is to provide a microscope system that drives an electric unit of a microscope apparatus following an operation of a touch panel at an appropriate timing.

To perform overall control of the operation of the microscope system 1.

A detailed configuration of the control unit 74 will be described. The control unit 74 includes an image processing unit 741, a trimming unit 742, a drive control unit 743, and a display control unit 744.

The image processing unit 741 performs predetermined image processing on the image data input via the control communication unit 71 to generate a display image to be displayed on the display unit 62. Specifically, the image processing unit 741 includes optical black subtraction processing, white balance adjustment processing, synchronization processing, color matrix calculation processing, γ correction processing, color reproduction processing, edge enhancement processing, and the like for image data. Perform image processing. The image processing unit 741 compresses the image data by a predetermined method, for example, JPEG (Joint Photographic Experts Group) method, and outputs the compressed image data to the image data storage unit 731.

The trimming unit 742 generates a trimmed image by cutting out a predetermined area from the image corresponding to the image data subjected to the image processing by the image processing unit 741.

When the position signal is output from the touch panel 63 and the output of the position signal is stopped, the drive control unit 743 acquires the position signal output from the touch panel 63 stored in the position signal storage unit 732, and outputs the position signal to the position signal. Based on this, a drive signal for driving each of the plurality of electric units constituting the microscope apparatus 2 is output to the plurality of electric units. Specifically, the drive control unit 743 outputs a drive signal to the electric stage 21.

The display control unit 744 controls the display mode of the display unit 62. Specifically, the display control unit 744 causes the display unit 62 to display each image of the plurality of image data stored in the image data storage unit 731. The display control unit 744 causes the display unit 62 to display operation information regarding each operation of the microscope system 1, for example, operation information of the electric stage 21.

The microscope system 1 configured in this manner displays an image of the sample sample S on the display unit 62 by displaying the image data of the sample sample S imaged by the imaging device 4 under the control of the control unit 74. Can be observed. Furthermore, in the microscope system 1, the microscope device 2 and the imaging device 4 are driven when the control unit 74 outputs an instruction signal or a drive signal to each unit of the microscope system 1 based on the position signal input from the touch panel 63. .

Next, operations performed by the microscope system 1 will be described. FIG. 4 is a flowchart illustrating an outline of processing performed by the microscope system 1 according to the first embodiment. In the following, the electric stage 21 will be described as an example of the electric unit of the microscope apparatus 2.

As illustrated in FIG. 4, the drive control unit 743 determines whether a drag operation has been started on the touch panel 63 (step S <b> 101). Specifically, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the drive control unit 743 determines whether or not a position signal indicating a contact position is input from the touch panel 63 when the user touches the touch panel 63 (FIG. 5A). Judging. When the drive control unit 743 determines that a drag operation has started on the touch panel 63 (step S101: Yes), the microscope system 1 proceeds to step S102. On the other hand, when the drive control unit 743 determines that the drag operation has not been started via the touch panel 63 (step S101: No), the microscope system 1 ends this process.

Subsequently, the drive control unit 743 stores the position signal output from the touch panel 63 in the position signal storage unit 732 (step S102). In this case, as illustrated in FIG. 5B, the drive control unit 743 outputs a position signal output from the touch panel 63 at a predetermined cycle, for example, every pulse when the user continues to touch the touch panel 63. Are stored in the position signal storage unit 732 in time series.

Thereafter, the drive control unit 743 determines whether or not the drag operation has ended on the touch panel 63 (step S103). Specifically, as illustrated in FIG. 5, the drive control unit 743 stops the position signal from the touch panel 63 when the user removes the finger from the touch panel 63 (FIG. 5B → FIG. 5C). Determine whether or not. When the drive control unit 743 determines that the drag operation has not been completed on the touch panel 63 (step S103: No), the microscope system 1 returns to step S102. On the other hand, when the drive control unit 743 determines that the drag operation has been completed on the touch panel 63 (step S103: Yes), the microscope system 1 proceeds to step S104.

Subsequently, the drive control unit 743 acquires the position signal stored in the position signal storage unit 732 (step S104), and based on the coordinates at the end of the drag operation and the coordinates at the start included in the acquired position signal. Then, the moving distance and moving direction in which the finger has moved on the touch panel 63 are calculated (step S105). Specifically, the control unit 74 connects a start position (start point) where the user first touches the touch panel 63 with a finger and a straight line connecting an end position (end point) where the user moves the finger away from the touch panel 63. Based on the above, the distance and direction of movement of the finger on the touch panel 63 are calculated.

Thereafter, the drive control unit 743 outputs a drive signal for driving the electric stage 21 to the microscope control unit 3 according to the calculated movement distance and movement direction (step S106). The drive signal includes a drive direction and a drive amount for driving the electric stage 21.

Subsequently, the microscope control unit 3 drives the electric stage 21 by driving the motor 211 based on the drive signal input from the drive control unit 743 (step S107), indicating the completion of the movement of the electric stage 21. A movement completion signal is output to the control terminal 7 (step S108).

Thereafter, the control unit 74 outputs an imaging instruction signal to the imaging control unit 5 to cause the imaging device 4 to image the specimen sample S after the movement of the electric stage 21 and generate image data, thereby generating the display unit 62. Is updated to the image after moving the electric stage 21 (step S109). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 5D, the image displayed on the display unit 62 is updated to an image after the electric stage 21 is moved. Thereby, the user can confirm a desired observation location on the specimen S operated by the touch panel 63.

According to the first embodiment of the present invention described above, when the drive control unit 743 outputs a position signal from the touch panel 63 and stops outputting the position signal, the touch control unit 63 stores the position signal in the position signal storage unit 732. The output position signal is acquired, and a drive signal for driving the electric stage 21 of the microscope apparatus 2 is output based on the position signal. As a result, the electric stage 21 can be moved to a place desired by the user.

Further, according to the first embodiment of the present invention, the drive control unit 743 temporarily stores the position signal output from the touch panel 63 in the position signal storage unit 732, and after the operation by the user ends, the electric stage 21 Since the driving amount is calculated, the control logic can be simplified.

(Modification 1 of Embodiment 1)
In the first embodiment described above, the drive control unit 743 determines whether or not the position signal is stopped from the touch panel 63 when the user lifts his / her finger from the touch panel 63 and determines whether or not the drag operation has ended. For example, if the position signal output from the touch panel 63 indicates substantially the same position for a certain period of time, it is determined that the operation using the touch panel 63 has ended, and the position signal stored in the position signal storage unit 732 is acquired. It is also possible to output a drive signal to the microscope control unit 3.

FIG. 6 is a flowchart illustrating an outline of processing performed by the microscope system 1 according to the first modification of the first embodiment. In the following, the electric stage 21 will be described as an example of the electric unit of the microscope apparatus 2.

As shown in FIG. 6, steps S201 to S202 correspond to steps S101 to S102 of FIG.

In step S203, the drive control unit 743 determines whether or not the position signal output from the touch panel 63 indicates the position of the touch panel 63 that is substantially the same for a certain time (for example, 1 second). When the control unit 74 determines that the position signal output from the touch panel 63 indicates substantially the same position for a certain time (step S203: Yes), the microscope system 1 proceeds to step S205. On the other hand, when the control unit 74 determines that the position information output from the touch panel 63 does not indicate substantially the same position for a predetermined time (step S203: No), the microscope system 1 proceeds to step S204.

Steps S204 to S210 correspond to steps S103 to S109 in FIG.

According to the first modification of the first embodiment of the present invention described above, when the position signal output from the touch panel 63 indicates the substantially same position of the touch panel 63 over a predetermined time, the touch panel 63 is used. It is determined that the operation is completed, the position signal stored in the position signal storage unit 732 is acquired, and a drive signal for driving the electric stage 21 of the microscope apparatus 2 is output based on this position signal. As a result, the electric stage 21 can be gradually driven following the user's operation, and the electric stage 21 can be quickly moved to a position desired by the user.

(Modification 2 of Embodiment 1)
In Embodiment 1 described above, the operation of only the electric stage 21 as the electric unit has been described. However, when the drive control unit 743 stops when the position signal is output from the touch panel 63, the driving of the electric stage 21 and the imaging device are performed. The control with the adjustment of the focus position of 4 may be performed simultaneously. In this case, when the position signal output from the touch panel 63 stops, the drive control unit 743 acquires the position signal stored in the position signal storage unit 732, and based on the acquired position signal, the drive signal of the electric stage 21 is acquired. And an instruction signal for adjusting the focus position of the imaging device 4. Thereafter, the drive control unit 743 outputs a drive signal and an instruction signal to the microscope control unit 3 and the imaging control unit 5, respectively.

As described above, according to the second modification of the first embodiment, the user can move the touch panel 63 to a desired observation position on the specimen S with only one operation, and the observation position. It is possible to confirm an image in which the imaging device 4 is in focus.

(Modification 3 of Embodiment 1)
In Embodiment 1 described above, the movement of the XY plane in the electric stage 21 has been described, but drive control of the electric stage 21 in the Z direction may be performed. In this case, when the position signal output from the touch panel 63 is output and the output of the position signal is stopped, the drive control unit 743 determines that the operation by the touch panel 63 is finished, and the position signal storage unit 732 stores the position signal. A position signal is acquired, and a drive signal for instructing driving of the electric stage 21 in the Z direction is generated based on the acquired position signal. Thereafter, the drive control unit 743 outputs a drive signal to the microscope control unit 3.

Thus, according to the third modification of the first embodiment, the drive control unit 743 temporarily stores the position signal output from the touch panel 63 in the position signal storage unit 732, and the operation by the user is finished. Since the driving amount of the electric stage 21 in the Z direction is calculated from the above, the control logic can be simplified. Furthermore, the electric stage 21 can be smoothly moved in the Z direction following the user's operation.

(Embodiment 2)
Next, a second embodiment of the present invention will be described. The second embodiment of the present invention differs only in the operation of the microscope system according to the first embodiment described above, and the configuration of the microscope system has the same configuration as the microscope system according to the first embodiment described above. For this reason, only the operation of the microscope system according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described below.

FIG. 7 is a flowchart illustrating an outline of processing performed by the microscope system 1 according to the second embodiment.

As shown in FIG. 7, steps S301 to S302 correspond to steps S101 to S102 of FIG.

In step S303, the drive control unit 743 outputs an instruction signal instructing the imaging operation of the imaging device 4 to the imaging control unit 5, thereby causing the imaging device 4 to generate image data, and a live image corresponding to the image data. To get.

Subsequently, the trimming unit 742 generates a display image to be displayed on the display unit 62 in response to the position signal output from the touch panel 63 with respect to the live image (step S304). Specifically, the trimming unit 742 cuts out an area around the position signal output from the touch panel 63 from the live image in the display area of the display unit 62 corresponding to the position signal output from the touch panel 63, and displays the display image. As a result, a trimmed image is generated.

Thereafter, the display control unit 744 causes the display unit 62 to display the display image generated by the trimming unit 742 (step S305).

Subsequently, the drive control unit 743 determines whether or not the drag operation has ended (step S306). When the drive control unit 743 determines that the drag operation has ended (step S306: Yes), the microscope system 1 proceeds to step S307. On the other hand, when the drive control unit 743 determines that the drag operation has not ended (step S306: No), the microscope system 1 returns to step S302.

Steps S307 to S312 correspond to steps S103 to S109 in FIG.

According to the second embodiment of the present invention described above, when the drive control unit 743 outputs a position signal from the touch panel 63, the instruction signal instructing the imaging operation of the imaging device 4 is output to the imaging control unit 5. As a result, the image pickup device 4 is caused to generate image data, and the trimming unit 742 generates a trimmed image as a display image from the image corresponding to the image data according to the position signal output from the touch panel 63 at a predetermined interval. The control unit 744 updates and displays the trimming image as a display image corresponding to the position signal output from the touch panel 63 generated by the trimming unit 742 every predetermined time on the display unit 62. As a result, since only the image is virtually updated following the operation performed on the touch panel 63 by the user, the user can quickly observe the sample sample S.

(Embodiment 3)
Next, a third embodiment of the present invention will be described. The microscope system according to the third embodiment of the present invention is different only in operation by the microscope system according to the above-described embodiment, and the configuration of the microscope system has the same configuration as the microscope system according to the above-described embodiment. For this reason, only the operation of the microscope system according to the second embodiment of the present invention will be described below.

FIG. 8 is a flowchart illustrating an outline of processing performed by the microscope system 1 according to the third embodiment. In the third embodiment, a zoom lens unit 243 will be described as an example of the electric unit of the microscope apparatus 2.

As illustrated in FIG. 8, the drive control unit 743 determines whether a pinch operation has been started on the touch panel 63 (step S401). Specifically, as illustrated in FIG. 9, the control unit 74 allows the user to touch two locations on the touch panel 63 (FIG. 9A) to generate two position signals indicating different contact positions from the touch panel 63. It is determined whether it has been output. When the drive control unit 743 determines that a pinch operation has been started on the touch panel 63 (step S401: Yes), the microscope system 1 proceeds to step S402. On the other hand, when the drive control unit 743 determines that the pinch operation has not been started via the touch panel 63 (step S401: No), the microscope system 1 ends this process.

Subsequently, the drive control unit 743 stores the position signal of the touch panel 63 corresponding to the two position signals output from the touch panel 63 in the position signal storage unit 732 (step S402).

Thereafter, the drive control unit 743 determines whether or not the pinch operation has been completed on the touch panel 63 (step S403). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 9, the drive control unit 743 allows the user to move one finger or both fingers away from the touch panel 63 (FIG. 9B → FIG. 9C). Then, by determining whether or not the output of one or two position signals from the touch panel 63 has been stopped, it is determined whether or not the pinch operation has ended. When the drive control unit 743 determines that the pinch operation is finished on the touch panel 63 (step S403: Yes), the microscope system 1 proceeds to step S404. On the other hand, when the drive control unit 743 determines that the pinch operation has not been completed (step S403: No), the microscope system 1 returns to step S402.

In step S404, the drive control unit 743 acquires the position information stored in the position signal storage unit 732, and calculates the zoom magnification by the zoom lens unit 243 based on the acquired position information (step S405). Specifically, the drive control unit 743 performs zooming by the zoom lens unit 243 based on a ratio of a straight line connecting two positions at the start of the pinch operation and a straight line connecting the two positions at the end of the pinch operation. Calculate the rate.

Subsequently, the drive control unit 743 outputs a zoom drive instruction signal corresponding to the calculated zoom magnification to the microscope control unit 3 (step S406).

Thereafter, the microscope control unit 3 drives the zoom drive unit 243b based on the zoom drive instruction signal to drive the zoom optical system 243a along the optical axis (step S407), and the zoom optical system 243a is driven. When completed, a drive completion signal is output to the control unit 74 (step S408).

Subsequently, the drive control unit 743 outputs an imaging instruction signal to the imaging control unit 5 to cause the imaging device 4 to image the sample sample S after zooming, generate image data, and display the image displayed on the display unit 62. Is updated to the zoomed image (step S409). Specifically, as shown in FIG. 9D, the display unit 62 displays an image of the specimen sample S enlarged by a pinch operation. Thereafter, the microscope system 1 ends this process.

According to the third embodiment of the present invention described above, when the drive control unit 743 outputs a position signal from the touch panel 63 and stops outputting the position signal, the position signal stored in the position signal storage unit 732 is stored. Based on this position signal, a drive signal for driving the zoom lens unit 243 of the microscope apparatus 2 is output. As a result, the user can observe the specimen sample S at a desired magnification.

In the third embodiment of the present invention, the pinch-out operation for enlarging the specimen sample S is described as an example of the pinch operation. However, the present invention can be applied to a pinch-in operation for reducing the specimen sample S. . Here, the pinch-out operation is to increase the distance between the two touch positions by directing the two touch positions where the user touches the touch panel 63 at different positions toward the outer edge of the touch panel 63. The pinch-in operation refers to reducing the distance between the two touch positions by directing the two touch positions touched at different positions on the touch panel 63 toward the center of the touch panel 63.

In the third embodiment of the present invention, the drive control unit 743 is enlarged or reduced according to the pinch operation. Reduction may be performed.

In the third embodiment of the present invention, the image displayed on the display unit 62 is updated after the drive control unit 743 enlarges the specimen S by the zoom lens unit 243. However, as in the above-described embodiment. In addition, the image may be updated by causing the trimming unit 742 to generate a trimmed image as a display image in accordance with the position signal output from the touch panel 63. In this case, the drive control unit 743 instructs the user of an image obtained by virtually enlarging the specimen sample S by instructing the size of the trimming image generated by the trimming unit 742 cut out from the observation image in accordance with the pinch operation. Can be observed.

In Embodiment 3 of the present invention, the drive control unit 743 outputs a drive signal to the zoom lens unit 243 when the position signal is output from the touch panel 73 and the output of the position signal stops. For example, the drive signal may be simultaneously output to the electric stage 21 and the zoom lens unit 243, respectively. Thereby, the user can observe the specimen sample S at a desired position and magnification in one operation.

In the above-described embodiment, the microscope system including the microscope device, the imaging device, the display input unit, and the control terminal has been described as an example. The present invention can also be applied to an imaging apparatus having an imaging function for imaging and a display function for displaying an image, such as a video microscope.

In the above-described embodiment, the upright microscope apparatus is described as an example of the microscope apparatus. However, the present invention can be applied to an inverted microscope apparatus, for example. Furthermore, the present invention can be applied to various systems such as a line apparatus incorporating a microscope apparatus.

In the above-described embodiment, the display input unit and the control terminal are separately configured. However, for example, a portable terminal in which the display input unit and the control terminal are integrally formed may be used.
