Abstract
【解決手段】回転式円筒オートクレーブ14に使用済み吸収性衛生用品をロードする段階と、オートクレーブを滅菌温度に達するよう加熱および加圧するとともにオートクレーブをその長手方向軸Aの周りに回転させる段階とを備え、加熱および加圧する段階においては、オートクレーブ内の用品を第1温度状態とし、かつ、オートクレーブ内面を第1温度より高い第2温度状態とする、使用済み吸収性衛生用品を滅菌する方法。

Claims (5)
- 回転式円筒オートクレーブを提供する段階と、
閉じられた使用済みの吸収性衛生用品を前記オートクレーブへロードする段階と、
前記オートクレーブを、滅菌温度に達するよう加熱および加圧し、同時に、前記オートクレーブを、前記オートクレーブの長手方向軸の周りを回転するよう駆動する段階と
を備え、
前記円筒オートクレーブは、内面と2つの端部とを有し、
前記2つの端部の少なくとも1つが、開かれると前記オートクレーブへのアクセスを可能とし、密閉されると前記オートクレーブの加圧を可能にするハッチによって終端され、
前記オートクレーブを加熱および加圧する段階は、前記オートクレーブ内の用品を第1温度状態とし、かつ、前記内面を前記第1温度より高い第2温度状態とする、前記使用済みの吸収性衛生用品を処理する方法。 - 前記第1温度状態は、138から152℃の間の温度である、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2温度状態は、160から200℃の間の温度である、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第2温度状態は、165から175℃の間の温度である、請求項1または2に記載の方法。
- 前記第1温度状態は、前記オートクレーブ内に含まれる用品と直接接触する接触蒸気によって作り出され、
前記第2温度状態は、前記オートクレーブの内壁に位置するダクトを通過する非接触蒸気によって作り出される、請求項1から4のいずれか1項に記載の方法。
