Abstract
【解決手段】映像を表示する表示部10と、表示部10の前方に位置する光制御部12と、を含み、光制御部12は、互いに対向配置される第1共通電極及び第2共通電極と、第1共通電極と第2共通電極との間に位置する液晶層と、を備え、電気信号として偏光方向を制御する偏光スイッチ42と、光制御部12の第1方向に沿って互いに距離をおいて位置する偏光部44と、第1方向に沿って偏光部44の間に位置する非偏光部46と、を備え、偏光スイッチ42と共に光透過を制御するパターン偏光板48と、を含む。

Claims (9)
- 映像を表示する表示部と、
前記表示部の前方に位置する光制御部と、
を含み、
前記光制御部は、
互いに対向配置される第1共通電極及び第2共通電極と、前記第1共通電極と前記第2共通電極との間に位置する液晶層と、を備え、電気信号として偏光方向を制御する偏光スイッチと、
前記光制御部の第1方向に沿って互いに距離をおいて位置する偏光部と、前記第1方向に沿って前記偏光部の間に位置する非偏光部と、を備え、前記偏光スイッチと共に光透過を制御し、前記表示部と反対側の面に位置するパターン偏光板と、
を含み、
前記偏光部と前記非偏光部との中心が前記第1方向と直交する第2方向に沿ってジグザグ状に配列されることを特徴とする、電子映像機器。 - 前記表示部は有機発光表示パネル、陰極線管、プラズマ表示パネル及び電界放出表示パネルのうちの何れか一つから成り、前記光制御部が前記表示部前方に位置する第3偏光板を含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電子映像機器。
- 前記第3偏光板は第5偏光軸を具備し、前記偏光スイッチは、オフの状態で光を透過する第2偏光軸とオンの状態で光を透過する第3偏光軸とを備え、前記偏光部は第4偏光軸を備えることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の電子映像機器。
- 前記第2偏光軸は、前記第5偏光軸と直交する第1位置と、前記第5偏光軸と一致する第2位置とのうちの何れか一つの位置に固定されることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電子映像機器。
- 前記第4偏光軸は前記第2偏光軸と一致し、前記光制御部は前記偏光スイッチがオフの状態で全面透過型に成ることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電子映像機器。
- 前記第4偏光軸は前記第2偏光軸と直交し、前記光制御部は前記偏光スイッチがオフの状態で部分透過型に成ることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電子映像機器。
- 前記偏光スイッチは、前記第1共通電極が位置する第1基板と、前記第2共通電極が位置する第2基板とを含み、前記第1基板及び前記第2基板は、薄膜フィルムから成ることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電子映像機器。
- 前記偏光スイッチは、前記表示部と前記パターン偏光板との間に位置することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電子映像機器。
- 前記パターン偏光板は、前記表示部と前記偏光スイッチとの間に位置することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電子映像機器。
