Abstract
【解決手段】電池駆動の物体検出装置に用いられて、検出ユニット9を駆動する電池10の逆装着を防止する構造である。電池10の保持部20は、電池10の凸状に突出した正電極11と接触する正極接点端子21、および負電極12と接触する負極接点端子22を有し、正極接点端子21は、少なくとも回路配線31をもつプリント基板30に形成されている。プリント基板30は、正極接点端子21に対し、電池10の正装着時に電池10の凸状の正電極11との接触を許容し、電池10の逆装着時に負電極12との接触を阻止するように、厚さ0.5mm未満の絶縁体23が正極接点端子21の周囲に設けられている。

Description
ここで、検出ユニットとは、例えば投光器と受光器を有し、投光器から投光された検知線を受光器で受光し、その受光量に基づいて物体を検出するユニットをいう。

Claims (6)
- 電池駆動の物体検出装置に用いられて、検出ユニットを駆動する電池の逆装着を防止する構造であって、
前記電池の保持部は、少なくとも回路配線をもつプリント基板と、このプリント基板に形成されて、電池の凸状に突出した正電極と接触する正極接点端子と、電池の負電極と接触する負極接点端子とを有し、
前記プリント基板は、前記正極接点端子に対し、電池の正装着時に電池の凸状の正電極との接触を許容し、電池の逆装着時に負電極との接触を阻止するように、厚さ0.5mm未満の絶縁体が前記正極接点端子の周囲に設けられている、

前記絶縁体は前記プリント基板に貼り付けられており、前記プリント基板の当該貼り付け部分には半田付着防止用のコーティングが除外されている、電池駆動の物体検出装置における逆接防止構造。 - 請求項1において、
前記絶縁体は前記プリント基板に一体形成されている、電池駆動の物体検出装置における逆接防止構造。 - 請求項1において、
前記絶縁体は前記プリント基板に転写または印刷により形成されている、電池駆動の物体検出装置における逆接防止構造。 - 請求項1において、
前記電池がその側面および端面の外周縁を被覆する外皮体を有する場合に、前記絶縁体は、前記正極接点端子の周囲外側から、前記外皮体の外周縁被覆部の前記プリント基板における相対向部位の周囲内側までの環状エリア内で当該プリント基板に形成されている、電池駆動の物体検出装置における逆接防止構造。 - 請求項5において、
前記絶縁体は、前記正極接点端子を中央孔部分として環状に形成されている、電池駆動の物体検出装置における逆接防止構造。
