Next, the second closed cross section 71 will be described in detail.
The second closed cross-section portion 71 is joined to the left end 55a in the vehicle width direction of the first closed cross-section portion 55, and continues from the left end 55a of the first closed cross-section portion 55 to the left vehicle body side portion 12 (the left rear wheel house 22). It is a part to do.
The second closed cross-section portion 71 includes an upper closed cross-section portion 72 provided at the rear of the vehicle body and a lower closed cross-section portion 73 provided on the front side of the vehicle body from the upper closed cross-section portion 72.
The upper closed cross-section portion 72 and the lower closed cross-section portion 73 are each formed in a closed cross section, whereby rigidity and strength are increased.
Therefore, the rigidity and strength of the second closed cross-section portion 71 constituted by the upper closed cross-section portion 72 and the lower closed cross-section portion 73 are increased.

The upper closed cross section 72 is provided behind the lower closed cross section 73 and above the lower closed cross section 73. The upper closed section 72 has a closed section formed by a parcel member 61 and a parcel support 62 (specifically, a first support member 91 (described later)).

A fourth surface portion (fourth surface) 98 that hangs downward from 97a and is joined to the damper base 31, and a second projecting flange (projecting flange) that projects upward from the rear end 97b of the third surface portion 97. 99.
Further, the second support member 96 has a second ridgeline 101 between the third surface portion 97 and the fourth surface portion 98. The second ridge line 101 is a corner formed so as to protrude toward the front of the vehicle body.
The second support member 96 is formed in a substantially square shape in cross section at the third surface portion 97 and the fourth surface portion 98.

The third surface portion 97 is a substantially rectangular surface portion in plan view, is flat in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and is formed with an upward slope toward the inner side in the vehicle width direction. In the third surface portion 97, the work hole 103 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape in plan view above the damper base 31.
By forming the working hole 103 above the damper base 31, the damper base 31 can be viewed (viewed) from the working hole 103.
By providing the work hole 103 in the third surface portion 97 of the second support member 96, the damper base 31 can be viewed (viewed) from the work hole 103.
Thereby, the workability | operativity of the assembly | attachment operation | work which attaches the upper part of a damper to the damper base 31 of the left rear wheel house 22, and the operation | work which adjusts a damper (tuning operation | work) can be improved.

A second projecting flange 99 and a joining flange 100 are provided at the rear end 97 b on the vehicle body rear side of the third surface portion 97.
The joining flange 100 projects upward from a portion of the rear end 97b outside the second projecting flange 99 in the vehicle width direction, and is joined to the second surface portion 93 of the first support member 91 from the front side of the vehicle body. .
The second projecting flange 99 projects upward from the rear end 97b and is provided between the plurality of first projecting flanges 94 in the vehicle width direction. That is, the first projecting flanges 94 and the second projecting flanges 99 are alternately arranged in the vehicle width direction.

As shown in FIGS. 11 and 12, the three members are joined in a state where the first projecting flange 94 is superimposed on the center joint 88 of the parcel member 61 and the rear support joint 112 of the damper support 63.
Therefore, a large thickness can be secured at the joint between the three members 88, 112, and 94, so that the parcel member 61 (central joint 88), the damper support 63 (rear support joint 112), and the first projecting flange 94 The members can be joined firmly.
Thereby, the joint strength of the joint part of the three members 88, 112, and 94 can be increased, and the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear part 11 (see FIG. 1) can be improved.

As shown in FIG. 6, the three members are joined in a state where the second projecting flange 99 is superimposed on the central joint 88 of the parcel member 61 and the rear support joint 112 of the damper support 63.
Therefore, a large plate thickness can be secured at the joint between the three members 88, 112, and 99, so that the parcel member 61 (center joint 88), the damper support 63 (rear support joint 112), and the second projecting flange 99 The members can be joined firmly.
Thereby, the joint strength of the joint part of the three members 88, 112, 99 can be increased, and the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear part 11 (see FIG. 1) can be improved.

Here, for example, when the four members are joined by superimposing the first support member 91 and the second support member 96 on the parcel member 61 and the damper support 63, the plate thickness dimension becomes too large at the joint portion of the four members. It is difficult to reliably join the members.
Therefore, the first projecting flange 94 of the first support member 91 and the second projecting flange 99 of the second support member 96 are alternately arranged in the vehicle width direction.

Therefore, the three members of the parcel member 61 (central joint 88), the damper support 63 (rear support joint 112), and the first projecting flange 94 can be joined. Furthermore, the three members of the parcel member 61 (center joint 88), the damper support 63 (rear support joint 112), and the second projecting flange 99 can be joined.
Thereby, since the three members 88, 112, and 94 and the three members 88, 112, and 99 can be reliably joined, the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear portion 11 (see FIG. 1) can be improved.

The fourth surface portion 98 hangs downward from the front end 97 a of the third surface portion 97, and the lower end 98 a is joined to the damper base 31. The fourth surface portion 98 is formed in an upward gradient along the third surface portion 97 toward the inner side in the vehicle width direction.
Specifically, the lower end 98 a of the fourth surface portion 98 is joined to the base flange 34 of the damper base 31 via the upper portion 25 a of the wheel house body 25.
Further, the inner end 98b of the fourth surface portion 98 is joined to the rear parcel 44 (specifically, the left end 46a of the front wall 46) (see FIG. 10).
Further, the outer end 98 c of the fourth surface portion 98 is connected to the left rear wheel house 22 via a wheel house gusset 67.

As shown in FIG. 10, the second ridgeline 101 is formed between the third surface portion 97 and the fourth surface portion 98, and extends outward in the vehicle width direction continuously to the first ridgeline 47 of the rear parcel 44. .
Similar to the first ridgeline 47, the second ridgeline 101 is formed in a square shape so as to protrude toward the front of the vehicle body.
Therefore, by allowing the first ridge line 47 and the second ridge line 101 to continue in the vehicle width direction, the load can be transmitted more suitably (efficiently) by the first ridge line 47 and the second ridge line 101. The rigidity and strength of the rear part 11 can be further improved.

Thus, the second support member 96 is joined to the first support member 91 (the parcel member 61) and the damper base 31.
As a result, the second closed support section 96 is configured by the second support member 96, the parcel member 61, the first support member 91, and the damper base 31.

As shown in FIG. 7, the damper support 63 is provided on the damper support surface portion 32 of the damper base 31 and joined to the parcel cross member 51 (see FIG. 3) via the parcel shelf support 64 so as to be continuous.
By providing the damper support 63 on the damper support surface portion 32, the damper support 63 can increase the rigidity and strength of the damper support surface portion 32.
Thereby, the upper portion of the damper can be suitably supported by the damper support surface portion 32 and the damper support 63.

The damper support 63 includes a support portion 111 formed in a substantially flat shape, a rear support joint portion 112 raised upward from the rear end 111a of the support portion 111, and raised upward from an inner end 111b of the support portion 111. And an inner support joint 113 formed thereon.
The support portion 111 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, and has a mounting hole 114 that is positioned coaxially with respect to the damper mounting hole 33 of the damper support surface portion 32.
The support portion 111 is provided on the damper support surface portion 32, and the rear support joint portion 112 is joined to the central joint portion 88 of the parcel member 61.
Further, the inner support joint 113 is joined to the vicinity 64 c of the outer end 64 b of the parcel shelf support 64.

As shown in FIGS. 7 and 13, the parcel shelf support 64 includes an inner end (end portion) 31 a on the inner side in the vehicle width direction of the damper base 31 and an outer end on the outer side in the vehicle width direction of the lower surface portion 52 of the parcel cross member 51. It is a member which connects (end part) 52b.
The parcel shelf support 64 is a band-shaped member formed in a downward gradient from the outer end 52 b of the parcel cross member 51 (lower surface portion 52) toward the inner end 31 a of the damper base 31.
Here, the rear parcel 44 is provided above the damper base 31. Therefore, the damper support 63 and the parcel cross member 51 can be connected by the parcel shelf support 64 by forming the parcel shelf support 64 in a downward slope.

Specifically, the parcel shelf support 64 has an inner end 64 a joined to the outer end 52 b of the parcel cross member 51 (lower surface portion 52), and the outer end 64 b connected to the inner end 31 a of the damper base 31 on the wheel house body 25 (upper part). 25a).
Furthermore, the parcel shelf support 64 is joined to the inner support joint 113 of the damper support 63 at the vicinity 64c of the outer end 64b.

In addition, the parcel shelf support 64 has a front flange 64 d joined to the inner lower end 98 d of the fourth surface portion 98, and a rear flange 64 e joined to the inner joint 85 of the parcel member 61.
As a result, the parcel shelf support 64, the second support member 96, and the parcel member 61 form a part of the second closed cross-section portion 71 (that is, a portion of the second closed cross-section portion 71 on the inner side in the vehicle width direction).

In this manner, the damper support 63 and the parcel cross member 51 having different heights can be connected by forming the parcel shelf support 64 in a downward slope. The parcel cross member 51 is a member constituting a part of the first closed cross section 55. On the other hand, the damper support 63 is a member constituting a part of the second closed cross-section portion 71.
Therefore, even when the heights of the damper support 63 and the parcel cross member 51 are different, the second closed cross-section portion 71 can be connected to the first closed cross-section portion 55. As a result, the load can be suitably (efficiently) transmitted between the left rear wheel house 22 and the rear parcel 44, so that the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear portion 11 (see FIG. 1) can be improved.

Further, the lower surface portion 52 of the parcel cross member 51 can be continued to the damper base 31 via the parcel shelf support 64. Therefore, when the load of the first closed cross-section portion 55 (parcel cross member 51) is transmitted to the second closed cross-section portion 71 (damper base 31), the left rear wheel house 22 (that is, relatively It can be transmitted to a member with high rigidity and strength.
Thereby, since the transmitted load can be suitably supported by the left rear wheel house 22, the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear portion 11 (see FIG. 1) can be further improved.

As shown in FIGS. 3 and 7, the inner bulkhead 65 has a parcel shelf support 64 (inner end 64a) with a lower end 65a (see FIG. 13) joined from above, and a second support member 96 (fourth surface portion 98). The front end 65b is joined to the rear of the vehicle body, and the upper end 65c (see also FIG. 13) is joined to the second support member 96 (third surface portion 97) from below.
The inner bulkhead 65 is provided at the inner end 73 b of the lower closed section 73.
By providing the inner bulkhead 65 at the inner end 73 b of the lower closed section 73, the first closed section 55 and the second closed section 71 are partitioned by the inner bulkhead 65.

Thus, by providing the inner bulkhead 65 that partitions the first closed cross-section portion 55 and the second closed cross-section portion 71, the rigidity and strength between the first closed cross-section portion 55 and the second closed cross-section portion 71 are further increased. Can do.
As a result, the load can be more suitably (efficiently) transmitted between the left vehicle body side portion 12 (see FIG. 1) and the rear parcel 44, thereby further improving the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear portion 11 (see FIG. 1). be able to.

The outer bulkhead 66 has a rear end joined to the outer joint portion 86 of the parcel member 61 from the front of the vehicle body, and a front end joined to the second surface portion 93 of the first support member 91 from the rear of the vehicle body.
Therefore, the outer bulkhead 66 is provided inside the upper closed cross section 72, and the rigidity and strength of the upper closed cross section 72 are increased.

As described above, according to the left support unit 16, the parcel member 61 is connected to the rear wall 53 of the parcel cross member 51 and the left vehicle body side portion 12 (the left rear pillar 23, the left rear wheel house 22). The parcel shelf support 64 was connected to the lower surface portion 51 of the 51 and the damper base 31.
Furthermore, the damper support 63 can be firmly supported by joining the damper support 63 to the parcel member 61 and the parcel shelf support 64.
By providing the damper support 63 on the upper portion of the damper base 31, the damper support 63 can sufficiently increase the rigidity and strength of the damper base 31.

Here, by attaching the upper part of the damper (shock absorber) to the damper support 63 and the damper base 31, the load is transmitted to the damper base 31 and the damper support 63 from the upper part of the damper.
Since the rigidity and strength of the damper base 31 are sufficiently increased, the transmitted load passes through the two members of the parcel member 61 and the parcel shelf support 64 and the left vehicle body side portion 12 (the left rear pillar 23 and the left rear wheel house 22). And efficiently transmitted to the rear parcel 44.
Thereby, the load transmitted from the upper part of the damper to the damper support 63 and the damper base 31 can be suitably supported by the left vehicle body side portion 12 (the left rear pillar 23, the left rear wheel house 22) and the rear parcel 44.

Next, the wheel house patch 36 described above will be described in detail with reference to FIGS.
As shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, a wheel house patch 36 is joined along the rear curved portion 121 of the left rear wheel house 22 (specifically, the wheel house body 25).
The wheel house patch 36 extends from the outer side 37a of the patch body 37 toward the outer side in the vehicle width direction along the wheel ridgeline (ridgeline) 122 between the wheel side wall 26 and the wheel rear wall 28. And an extended reinforcing portion 38.

The patch body 37 is arranged along the wheel ridgeline 122 between the wheel side wall 26 and the wheel rear wall 28, and the outer periphery is joined to the wheel side wall 26 and the wheel rear wall 28.
The patch body 37 is formed in a substantially rectangular shape in plan view, and has a second joint portion 125 and a plurality of second extending portions 126 at the upper end 37b (the upper end of the wheel house patch 36).

The second joint portion 125 is provided at the upper end 37b of the patch body 37, and is joined in a state of being superimposed on the upper end of the wheel side wall 26 and the upper end of the wheel rear wall 28 (that is, the upper portion 121a of the rear curved portion 121). .
The plurality of second extending portions 126 extend above the second joint portion 125, and the upper ends thereof are formed in a curved shape. The plurality of second extending portions 126 are joined in a state of being superimposed on the upper portion 121 a of the rear curved portion 121, similarly to the second joining portion 125.

By joining the plurality of first joining portions 81 of the parcel member 61 to the upper portion 121a of the rear curved portion 121, the plurality of second extending portions 126 are externally provided from the plurality of exposure holes 83 formed in the parcel member 61. Is exposed. Further, the first extension portion 82 of the parcel member 61 is joined to the second joint portion 125 from above.
Here, the upper part 121a of the rear curved part 121 is a part of the upper part 25a of the wheel house body 25 that indicates the rear side of the vehicle body.

As shown in FIG. 16, the upper portion 121 a of the rear curved portion 121 is joined to the vehicle body rear portion 34 a of the base flange 34, and the first joint portion 81 of the parcel member 61 is joined to the upper portion 121 a of the rear curved portion 121.
That is, the base flange 34 (vehicle body rear portion 34a), the rear curved portion 121 (upper portion 121a), and the parcel member (first joint portion 81) are overlapped, and the three members 34a, 121a, 81 are joined in this state.
Therefore, a large plate thickness can be secured at the joint of the three members 34a, 121a, 81, so that the three members of the base flange 34 (vehicle body rear part 34a), the rear curved part 121 (upper part 121a), and the first joint 81 are firmly secured. Can be joined.

As shown in FIG. 17, the second joint portion 125 of the patch body 37 is joined to the upper portion 121 a of the rear curved portion 121, and the first extension portion 82 of the parcel member 61 is joined to the second joint portion 125.
That is, the 1st extension part 82 is piled up on the upper part 121a of the 2nd junction part 125 and the rear curve part 121, and the three members 82, 125, and 121a are joined in this state.

Therefore, since a large plate thickness can be secured at the joint between the three members 82, 125, and 121a, the three members of the first extending portion 82, the second joint 125, and the upper portion 121a of the rear curved portion 121 can be firmly joined. .
In this manner, the first joint 81 and the first extension 82 of the parcel member 61 are firmly joined to the upper portion 121a of the rear curved portion 121, so that the parcel member 61 is connected to the upper portion 121a of the rear curved portion 121 (that is, The upper portion 25a) of the wheel house body 25 is firmly joined.

Further, the upper portion 121 a of the rear curved portion 121 is joined to the vehicle body rear portion 34 a of the base flange 34, and the second extending portion 126 of the patch body 37 is joined to the upper portion 121 a of the rear curved portion 121.
That is, the second extending portion 126 is overlapped with the base flange 34 (the vehicle body rear portion 34a) and the rear curved portion 121 (the upper portion 121a), and the three members 126, 34a, 121a are joined in this state.

Therefore, a large plate thickness dimension can be secured at the joint between the three members 126, 34a, and 121a, so that the three members of the second extending portion 126, the base flange 34 (the vehicle body rear portion 34a), and the rear curved portion 121 (the upper portion 121a) Can be joined firmly.
In this way, the patch body 37 is firmly joined to the upper part 121a of the rear curved part 121 and the second joint part 125 and the second extension part 126 of the patch main body 37, so that the patch main body 37 is attached to the upper part 121a of the rear curved part 121 (that is, The upper portion 25a) of the wheel house body 25 is firmly joined.
As described above, the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear portion 11 (see FIG. 14) are improved by firmly joining the parcel member 61 and the patch body 37 (wheel house patch 36) to the upper portion 25a of the wheel house body 25. be able to.

As shown in FIG. 14, the parcel member 61 is a member that connects the parcel cross member 51 and the left vehicle body side portion 12 (the left rear pillar 23 and the left rear wheel house 22).
Therefore, the load can be efficiently transmitted between the parcel cross member 51 (that is, the rear parcel 44) and the left vehicle body side portion 12 by firmly joining the parcel member 61 to the upper portion 25a of the wheel house body 25.
Further, the second joint portion 125 of the rear wheel house patch 36 is firmly joined to the first extension portion 82 of the parcel member 61. Therefore, a load can be efficiently transmitted between the left rear wheel house 22 and the parcel member 61.

In this way, the parcel cross member 51 and the left vehicle body side portion 12 are firmly connected by the parcel member 61, and the rear wheel house patch 36 is firmly joined to the parcel member 61, whereby the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear portion 11 are improved. Can be further improved.
Thereby, a load can be efficiently transmitted between the left rear wheel house 22 (left vehicle body side portion 12) and the parcel cross member 51 (rear parcel 44), and between the left rear wheel house 22 and the left rear pillar 23.

Further, a rear wheel house patch 36 is provided along the wheel ridgeline 122 of the left rear wheel house 22. The wheel ridgeline 122 is a portion of the left rear wheel house 22 having relatively high rigidity.
Accordingly, by providing the rear wheel house patch 36 along the wheel ridgeline 122, the left rear wheel house 22 can be suitably (effectively) reinforced by the rear wheel house patch 36.

As shown in FIGS. 14 and 15, the extended reinforcing portion 38 extends from the middle 37 c in the longitudinal direction (in other words, from the middle in the longitudinal direction of the wheel ridge 122) to the outside in the vehicle width direction on the outer side 37 a of the patch body 37. It has been extended.
The extended reinforcing portion 38 is joined to the wheel rear wall 28 in a state of extending outward in the vehicle width direction.

Here, by reinforcing the wheel ridgeline 122 of the left rear wheel house 22 (specifically, the wheel house body 25) with the rear wheel house patch 36, the strength difference from the other parts of the wheel house body 25 is increased. . For this reason, it is conceivable that the stress concentrates on a portion where the strength difference is large and the wheel house body 25 is bent.
Therefore, the extending reinforcing portion 38 is extended from the middle 37c in the longitudinal direction of the patch body 37 toward the vehicle width outside (vehicle body side).

Therefore, the other part of the wheel house body 25 can be reinforced by the extended reinforcing portion 38. By reinforcing other parts, the difference in strength between the other parts and the part reinforced with the rear wheel house patch 36 can be suppressed to a small level.
Thereby, the stress concentration due to the load input to the wheel house body 25 can be suppressed, and further, the input load can be distributed to the left vehicle body side portion 12 via the extended reinforcement portion 38. Therefore, the rigidity and strength of the wheel house body 25 (that is, the vehicle body rear portion 11) can be further increased.

Further, the wheel house body 25 has a U-shaped cross section formed by a wheel side wall 26, a wheel front wall 27 (see also FIG. 2), and a wheel rear wall 28.
Therefore, the rear curved portion 121 is kept highly rigid and strong at the portion on the wheel side wall 26 side. Therefore, by extending the extended reinforcing portion 38 toward the outer side in the vehicle width direction, the rigidity and the strength are kept high even at the portion of the wheel rear wall 28 of the rear curved portion 121.
Thereby, the wheel house body 25 (that is, the left rear wheel house 22) can be formed as a member having higher rigidity and strength.

Next, an example of transmitting a load between the parcel cross member 51 (rear parcel unit 14) and the left vehicle body side portion 12 will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 18, the rear parcel unit 14 and the left vehicle body side portion 12 are communicated with each other by a left support unit 16.
The left support unit 16 includes a second closed cross section 71. Further, the rear parcel unit 14 includes a first closed cross section 55. The 1st closed cross-section part 55 and the 2nd closed cross-section part 71 are connected in the state arrange | positioned along the vehicle width direction. Here, the first closed cross-section portion 55 and the second closed cross-section portion 71 are portions having high rigidity and strength by being formed in a closed cross-section, respectively.

Therefore, when the load F1 is input to the rear parcel unit 14 toward the outside in the vehicle width direction as indicated by an arrow, the input load F1 can be efficiently transmitted to the left vehicle body side portion 12 via the left support unit 16.
On the other hand, when the load F2 is input to the left vehicle body side portion 12 toward the inside in the vehicle width direction as indicated by an arrow, the input load F2 can be efficiently transmitted to the rear parcel unit 14 via the left support unit 16.

In this way, by interposing the left support unit 16 between the rear parcel unit 14 and the left vehicle body side portion 12, even if the rear parcel unit 14 is provided relatively far above the left rear wheel house 22, the load Can be transmitted efficiently.
Thereby, since the load input to the rear parcel unit 14 and the left vehicle body side portion 12 can be suitably supported, the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear portion 11 can be increased.

Next, an example of transmitting a load between the left rear wheel house 22 and the rear parcel unit 14 and between the left rear wheel house 22 and the left rear pillar 23 will be described with reference to FIG.
As shown in FIG. 19, a rear wheel house patch 36 is provided on the left rear wheel house 22 (upper part 121a of the rear curved portion 121), and the parcel member 61 (left support unit 16) is firmly joined to the rear wheel house patch 36. It was.

Therefore, when the load F3 is input to the rear part of the left rear wheel house 22 as indicated by an arrow, a part of the input load F3 is efficiently distributed as the load F4 to the rear parcel unit 14 via the left support unit 16. Can tell.
Further, the remainder of the input load F3 can be efficiently distributed and transmitted as the load F5 to the left rear pillar 23 via the left support unit 16.

On the other hand, when the load F6 is input to the rear parcel unit 14 toward the outside in the vehicle width direction as indicated by an arrow, a part of the input load F6 is efficiently passed as the load F7 to the rear part of the left rear pillar 23 via the left support unit 16. I can tell you.
Further, the remainder of the input load F6 can be efficiently distributed and transmitted as the load F8 to the left rear wheel house 22 via the left support unit 16.

Further, when the load F9 is input to the left rear pillar 23 as indicated by an arrow toward the inner side in the vehicle width direction, a part of the input load F9 is efficiently transmitted to the rear parcel unit 14 via the left support unit 16 as the load F10. Can do.
Further, the remainder of the input load F9 can be efficiently dispersed and transmitted as the load F11 to the left rear wheel house 22 via the left support unit 16.

In this way, by firmly joining the left support unit 16 to the rear wheel house patch 36, the load is efficiently transferred between the left rear wheel house 22 and the rear parcel unit 14 and between the left rear wheel house 22 and the left rear pillar 23. Can be transmitted. Thereby, since the load input to the left rear wheel house 22, the rear parcel unit 14 and the left rear pillar 23 can be suitably supported, the rigidity and strength of the vehicle body rear portion 11 can be further increased.
