Description
Claims (20)
- 非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法であって、
第1鋳型を与えることと、
内部補強帯及び外部補強帯を前記第1鋳型内に実質的に同心円状に配置することと、
ポリマー発泡スペーサを形成するための材料を、前記鋳型内に、及び、前記内部補強帯と前記外部補強帯との間に位置する実質的に環状の空間内に挿入して、前記スペーサと前記内部補強帯及び前記外部補強帯とを含む鋳物を与えることと、
前記非空圧式ホイールの1つ以上の特定形状の前記成形物に、少なくとも1つの空洞を有する第2鋳型を与えることと、
前記挿入工程からの前記鋳物を前記第2鋳型内に配置することと、
母材を前記第2鋳型内に挿入して、前記非空圧式ホイールの1つ以上の特定形状を成形することと
を含む、方法。 - 前記第1鋳型が、内壁と外壁とを含み、ポリマー発泡スペーサを形成するために、前記材料挿入工程の間、前記第1鋳型内で前記内部補強帯と前記外部補強帯との相対位置を維持する工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記維持工程が、前記内部補強帯及び前記外部補強帯とスペーサを接続することを含む、請求項2に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記ポリマー発泡スペーサを網状にする工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記ポリマー発泡スペーサを網状にする工程により、正味の体積に対する空隙の比率が約75パーセント以上になる、請求項4に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記母材挿入工程からの中間体の周りに踏み面帯を配置する工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記鋳物配置工程の前に、前記挿入工程からの前記鋳物の周りに踏み面帯を配置する工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記挿入工程の前記母材が、原位置反応により、前記ポリマー発泡スペーサの空隙内に生成される、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記母材が、前記挿入工程後に硬化するポリウレタンエラストマーを含む、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記内部補強帯及び前記外部補強帯に前記ポリマー発泡スペーサを浸透させる工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記母材挿入工程が、前記ポリマー発泡スペーサ内の空隙に前記母材を浸透させる工程を含む、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 前記第1鋳型が、前記外部補強帯の外に配置される外壁を有し、前記第1鋳型が、前記内部補強帯の内に配置される内壁を有し、前記内部補強帯及び前記外部補強帯を前記内壁及び前記外壁から離して維持する工程を更に含む、請求項1に記載の非空圧式ホイールを製造する方法。
- 半径方向と周囲方向とを画定するホイールが、
接地踏み面部分を支え、前記周囲方向に延びる環帯と、
前記周囲方向に沿って延びる内部補強帯と、
前記周囲方向に沿って延び、前記内部補強帯の半径方向の外側に配置される外部補強帯と、
前記内部補強帯と前記外部補強帯との間に少なくとも部分的に配置される発泡スペーサと
を含む、
前記環帯内に配置される環形補強構造体と、
前記環帯の半径方向の内側に配置される据付帯と、
前記環帯と前記据付帯との間に接続される複数の網状スポークと
を含む、非空圧式ホイール。 - 前記発泡スペーサが、網状にされた発泡体を含む、請求項13に記載の非空圧式ホイール。
- 前記網状発泡体の正味の体積に対する空隙の比率が、75パーセント以上である、請求項14に記載の非空圧式ホイール。
- 前記環帯、前記補強構造体、前記据付帯、及び前記スポークが、ポリウレタンから構成される、請求項13に記載の非空圧式ホイール。
- 前記環帯により支えられる踏み面帯を更に含む、請求項13に記載の非空圧式ホイール。
- 前記発泡スペーサが、前記内部補強体及び前記外部補強体と共にその場で鋳造される発泡体を含む、請求項13に記載の非空圧式ホイール。
- 前記発泡スペーサが、前記内部補強帯、前記外部補強帯、又は、それらの両方の中に位置する孔に浸透する、請求項13に記載の非空圧式ホイール。
