Description
Claims (12)
- リング背面(31)と、上側のリング側面(32)と、下側のリング側面(33)と、摺動面(42)とを備える、内燃機関のピストン(10)に用いられるピストンリング(30,130,230)を製造する方法において、
(a)リング背面(31’)と、上側のリング側面(32’)と、下側のリング側面(33’)と、外側の周壁面(34’)とを備えるリングブランク(30’)を提供し、
(b)前記外側の周壁面(34’)に沿って非対称的なクラウニング状の輪郭部(35)を成形し、かつ前記下側のリング側面(33’)の領域において前記外側の周壁面(34’)に半径方向外方に向かって延びる突出部(36)を成形し、
(c)前記非対称的なクラウニング状の輪郭部(35)と前記上側のリング側面(32’)との間で前記外側の周壁面(34’)の領域において、B=0.10mm〜0.30mmの軸方向の高さを有する面取り部(37)、凸面状に成形された湾曲部(37’)または凹面状に成形された湾曲部(37’’)を形成し、
(d)前記外側の周壁面(34’)をコーティング材でコーティングし、
(e)前記突出部(36)を、コーティング部(39)に移行する環状の面(41)の形態で前記リングブランク(30’)の材料を露出させるように除去し、前記環状に延びる面(41)と、前記下側のリング側面(33’)との間に油掻取りエッジ(40)を形成し、
(f)コーティングされたリングブランク(30’)を後加工および/または仕上げ加工して、完成されたピストンリング(30,130,230)を形成する
ステップを含むことを特徴とする、内燃機関のピストン(10)に用いられるピストンリング(30,130,230)を製造する方法。 - 前記ステップ(a)において、ハーフキーストンリング、キーストンリングまたはレクタンギュラリングの形態のリングブランク(30’)を使用する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(a)において、鋼材料または鋳鉄材料から成るリングブランク(30’)を使用する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(b)において、前記突出部(36)を、C=0.10mm〜0.55mm、有利にはC=0.20mm〜0.40mmの軸方向高さおよび/またはD=0.07mm〜0.09mmの半径方向の幅で成形する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(b)において、前記非対称的なクラウニング状の輪郭部(35)と、前記突出部(36)との間に、曲線状の移行領域(38)を形成する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記曲線状の移行領域(38)を、R=0.10mm〜0.30mmの曲率半径で形成する、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(c)と前記ステップ(d)との間で、前記外側の周壁面(34’)に1つまたは複数の付着層および/または中間層を被着させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(d)において、付加的に前記上側のリング側面(32’)および/または前記下側のリング側面(33’)および/または前記リング背面(31’)を少なくとも1つのコーティング材でコーティングする、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記ステップ(d)において、コーティングをPVD法またはCVD法またはDLC法で行う、請求項1記載の方法。
- 請求項1から9までのいずれか1項記載の方法により製造可能なピストンリング(30,130,230)。
- リング背面(31)と、上側のリング側面(32)と、下側のリング側面(33)と、片側で室を有するコーティング部(39)を備えた摺動面(42)とを備える、内燃機関のピストン(10)に用いられるピストンリング(30,130,230)であって、
前記摺動面(42)は、非対称的なクラウニング状の輪郭部を有し、前記摺動面(42)は、B=0.10mm〜0.30mmの軸方向高さを有する面取り部(37)、凸面状に成形された湾曲部(37’)または凹面状に成形された湾曲部(37’’)を介して前記上側のリング側面(32)に移行しており、前記コーティング部(39)に移行する環状の面(41)が設けられており、該環状の面(41)は、油掻取りエッジ(40)を形成しながら前記下側のリング側面(33)に移行していることを特徴とする、内燃機関のピストン(10)に用いられるピストンリング(30,130,230)。 - 前記ピストンリングは、コンプレッションリングである、請求項11に記載のピストンリング(30,130,230)。
