Description
Claims (20)
- インナーロッドと、
前記インナーロッドと同心状に整列するアウターチューブと、
前記インナーロッドと前記アウターチューブとの間に規定され、前記ノズルのスプレイエンドに円形スリットを形成する環状流路と、
前記円形スリットに近接する前記インナーロッドと前記アウターチューブの、少なくとも一方の上に位置する少なくとも1つの帯電可能なノッチと、
を含む電気流体力学的噴霧のためのノズル。 - 前記インナーロッドがその内部を通って規定される中央流路を含む、請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 前記中央流路が、その内部を通る安定化ガスおよび安定化液体の少なくとも一方の流れを容易にするように構成される、請求項2に記載のノズル。
- 前記インナーロッドおよび前記アウターチューブと同心状に整列した最外部チューブを更に含み、前記アウターチューブと前記最外部チューブとの間に外側流路が規定される、請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 前記最外部チューブ上に位置する少なくとも1つの帯電可能なノッチを更に含む、請求項4に記載のノズル。
- 前記少なくとも1つの帯電可能なノッチが、前記インナーロッドと前記アウターチューブの一方の上にのみ位置する、請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 前記インナーロッドが前記ノズルのスプレイエンドにセンターピースを含み、前記アウターチューブが前記ノズルのスプレイエンドに末端部分を含み、前記センターピースが前記末端部分に対して凹部を有する、請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 前記インナーロッドが前記ノズルのスプレイエンドにセンターピースを含み、前記アウターチューブが前記ノズルのスプレイエンドに末端部分を含み、前記センターピースが前記末端部分に対して延在している、請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 前記少なくとも1つの帯電可能なノッチが複数のノッチを含み、前記複数のノッチが互いに間隔を空けて配置され、前記複数のノッチが帯電している時に、前記複数のノッチの1つにより作られる電界が前記複数のノッチの近接するノッチにより作られる電界によって妨げられない、請求項1に記載のノズル。
- 電気流体力学的噴霧のシステムであって、
ノズルであって、
ソースエンドと、
スプレイエンドと、
第1表面を含む第1部品と、
第2表面を含む第2部品と、
第1表面と第2表面との間に規定され、前記ノズルの前記スプレイエンドに出口スリ
ットを形成する流路と、
前記出口スリットに近接する前記第1部品および前記第2部品の少なくとも一方の上
に位置する、少なくとも1つの帯電可能なノッチと、
を含むノズルと、
前記ノズルに電気的につながれ、前記少なくとも1つの帯電可能なノッチに電圧を供給するように構成された電源と、
前記ノズルの前記ソースエンドで流体連通し、前記ノズルを通る噴霧液を押し出すように構成されるシリンジポンプと、
を含む電気流体力学的噴霧のシステム。 - 前記第1部品が第1プレートを含み、前記第2部品が第2プレートを含み、前記流路が実質的に平面状である、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 液体シートの放出のためのノズル手段をさらに含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズルから放出される液体シートを複数のジェットに分離するためのノッチ手段をさらに含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記ノズルから放出される液体シートの形状を維持するための手段をさらに含む、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 前記少なくとも1つの帯電可能なノッチが第1ノッチおよび第2ノッチを含み、前記第1ノッチおよび第2ノッチが互いに間隔を空けて配置され、電圧が前記第1ノッチおよび第2ノッチに供給されている時、前記第1ノッチによって作られる電界が前記第2ノッチによって作られる電界を妨げない、請求項10に記載のシステム。
- 電気流体力学的噴霧の方法であって、
ノズルであって、インナーロッド、前記インナーロッドと同心状に整列したアウターチューブ、前記インナーロッドと前記アウターチューブとの間に規定される環状流路、前記ノズルのスプレイエンドに円形スリットを形成する前記環状流路および前記円形スリットに近接する前記インナーロッドおよび前記アウターチューブの少なくとも一方の上に位置する複数のノッチ、を含むノズルを提供することと、
前記複数のノッチに電圧を供給することと、
前記ノズルの前記環状流路を介して噴霧液を送り出すことと、
を含む方法。 - 前記インナーロッドがその内部を通って規定される中央流路を含み、前記方法が、前記中央流路を通じて安定化ガスを送り出すことをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記インナーロッドがその内部を通って規定される中央流路を含み、前記方法が、前記中央流路を通じて安定化液体を送り出すことをさらに含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記インナーロッドおよび前記アウターチューブと同心状に整列した最外部チューブを提供し、前記アウターチューブと前記最外部チューブとの間に外側流路が形成されることと、
前記外側流路を通してシース液を送り出すことと、
をさらに含む請求項16に記載の方法。 - 電圧の供給が、前記複数のノッチのそれぞれで噴霧液のジェットが形成されるような電圧の提供を含む、請求項16に記載の方法。
