Abstract
【解決手段】可変データリソグラフィー印刷またはインクジェット印刷のためのインク組成物またはインク濃縮物は、ナノ粒子ポリマーまたはナノ粒子ポリマーのブレンドを含み、ポリマーまたはブレンドのポリマーは、100℃未満の温度で水分散性であり、固形分含有量は、合計重量で25%〜約50%の範囲の量であり、スルホン酸化スチレン、スチレン、スルホン酸化ポリエステル、カルボキシル−ポリエステル、ポリエステル、スルホン酸化スチレン、スチレン、グリコール、多官能グリコール、アルコール、多官能アルコール、酸および塩を含む群から選択される成分を含むインク組成物。

Claims (10)
- 中間体基材を使用する可変データオフセット印刷プロセスまたはインクジェット印刷プロセスのためのインク組成物またはインク濃縮物であって、
ナノ粒子ポリマーまたはナノ粒子ポリマーのブレンドを含み、前記ポリマーまたはブレンドのポリマーが、100℃未満の温度で水分散性であり、合計固形分含有量が、約25%以上の範囲の量である、インク組成物またはインク濃縮物。 - 前記合計固形分含有量が、25%〜約50%の範囲の量である、請求項1に記載の組成物。
- 前記ポリマーまたはブレンドが、スルホン酸化スチレン、スチレン、スルホン酸化ポリエステル、カルボキシル−ポリエステル、ポリエステル、スルホン酸化スチレン、スチレン、グリコール、多官能グリコール、アルコール、多官能アルコール、酸および塩を含む群から選択される成分を含む、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 共溶媒であって、前記共溶媒は、表面張力が、約15ダイン/センチメートル〜約40ダイン/センチメートルであり、前記共溶媒が、アルコール、グリコール、アルキルピロリジノン、イソプロパノール、ケトン、メチルエチルケトン、アミノアルコールおよびDMSOを含む群から選択される、共溶媒を含む、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 前記ナノ粒子ポリマーは、大きさが1ミクロン未満、または500nm未満、または200nm未満、または20nm未満であるか、またはナノ粒子の混合物が、二峰性または三峰性の分布を形成する、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 粒径が5〜200nmの自己分散性顔料を含み、この顔料が化学修飾されているか、または樹脂に包まれている、請求項1に記載のインク組成物。
- 固形分含有量が高いインクを用いて印刷する方法であって、
ナノ粒子ポリマーまたはナノ粒子ポリマーのブレンドを含むインクを中間転写体に塗布することを含み、前記ポリマーまたは前記ブレンドのポリマーが水分散性であり、固形分含有量が約5%〜約50重量%の量である、方法。 - 表面張力が約18ダイン/センチメートル〜約25ダイン/センチメートルの前記中間転写体をさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記中間転写体が、シリコーンまたはフルオロシリコーンを含む表面を有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 前記塗布することが、
臨界相分離温度の上限よりも高いインク温度で前記インクを塗布し、前記臨界相分離温度の前記上限が約30℃〜約50℃であることと、
前記中間転写体の上で前記インクを冷却することと、
前記インクを前記中間転写体から印刷可能な基材へと転写することとをさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
