中間膜とガラスリボンとの間の静摩擦係数が、3.0以上(鉛直力0.5Nで測定)であることを特徴とする。
このときガラスリボンが外側端部部分を有し、さらに、
この外側端部部分上に中間膜が配置されていないことを特徴とする。
このとき第1の幅が第2の幅未満であり、さらに、
外側端部部分上に中間膜が配置されていないことを特徴とする。
中間膜をガラスリボンとともに巻回するステップであって、このガラスリボンが0.3mm以下の厚さを有するものであるステップ、を含み、
中間膜とガラスリボンとの間の静摩擦係数が、3.0以上(鉛直力0.5Nで測定)であることを特徴とする。
このときガラスリボンが外側端部部分を有し、さらに、
この外側端部部分上に中間膜が配置されていないことを特徴とする。
このとき第1の幅が第2の幅未満であり、さらに、

Claims (8)
- ガラスリボンを巻回する方法であって、
中間膜を、0.3mm以下の厚さを有する前記ガラスリボンとともに巻回するステップ、
を含み、
前記巻回するステップが、前記ガラスリボンのウエブ張力が0ポンド/平方インチ(0kg/cm2)超かつ0.25ポンド/平方インチ(0.045kg/cm2)以下となるように、実行されることを特徴とする方法。 - 前記中間膜の剛性が、28.14N/mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記巻回するステップが、前記ガラスリボンの連続層間に生じる圧力が0ポンド/平方インチ(0kg/cm2)超かつ10ポンド/平方インチ(0.703kg/cm2)以下となるように、実行されることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記巻回するステップは、前記ガラスリボンが最内層と最外層との間に配置されるよう実行され、
前記ガラスリボンの最内層と最外層との間の横方向のずれが1.6mm以下であることを特徴とする請求項1から3いずれか1項記載の方法。 - 前記中間膜が第1部分と第2部分とを含み、該第1部分および第2部分が、互いに一定距離離れて配置されかつ前記ガラスリボンの中心から±10%以内を中心とした幅を有するものであり、
前記ガラスリボンが外側端部部分を有し、さらに、
該外側端部部分上に前記中間膜が配置されていないことを特徴とする請求項1から4いずれか1項記載の方法。 - 前記中間膜が第1の幅を有し、前記ガラスリボンが第2の幅と外側端部部分とを有し、
前記第1の幅が前記第2の幅未満であり、さらに、
前記外側端部部分上に前記中間膜が配置されていないことを特徴とする請求項1から5いずれか1項記載の方法。 - 前記中間膜がポリエチレンフォームを含むことを特徴とする請求項1から6いずれか1項記載の方法。
- 前記中間膜と前記ガラスリボンとの間の静摩擦係数が、3.0以上(鉛直力0.5Nで測定)であることを特徴とする請求項1または2記載の方法。
