Abstract

Claims (21)
- 金属または金属合金基板と、前記基板の表面上に形成された一次層と、を備えたインプラントに適した材料であって、前記一次層が前記基板の表面積より大きな表面積を有することを特徴とする材料。
- 前記金属が、遷移金属であり、特にチタンであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の材料。
- 前記一次層が、チタン酸アルカリ及び/または酸化チタンの堆積物を含むことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の材料。
- 前記堆積物の厚さが、100から500ナノメートルであることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の材料。
- 前記一次層が、2から20ナノメートルの範囲の幅を有するチタン酸アルカリの離散要素または線維を含むことを特徴とする請求項3または4に記載の材料。
- 前記一次層が、可視光に対して1%から20%の範囲の反射率を有することを特徴とする請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 前記一次層が、黒色であることを特徴とする請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 前記一次層が、前記基板の表面積より1000から50000倍大きな表面積を有することを特徴とする請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 前記一次層が、5°未満の水接触角を有することを特徴とする請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の材料。
- 添付の図面を参照して以上に記載され、添付の図面に示された材料。
- 金属または金属合金基板を提供する段階と、
前記基板の表面より大きな表面積を有する一次層を前記基板の表面上に形成する段階と、
を含むことを特徴とする材料の形成方法。 - 前記基板上に前記一次層を形成する段階が、前記基板の表面を物理的に変化させる段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記基板の表面を物理的に変化させる段階が、研磨粒子で前記表面をブラストする段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記基板上に一次層を形成する段階が、前記基板の表面を化学的に処理する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項11から13のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記基板の表面を化学的に処理する段階が、前記基板を約30〜90℃のアルカリ性溶液に浸漬する段階を含むことを特徴とする請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ性溶液が、水酸化ナトリウムであることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ性溶液が、1から6モルの濃度を有することを特徴とする請求項15または16に記載の方法。
- 請求項11から17のいずれか一項に記載の方法で形成された材料。
- 請求項1から10または請求項18のいずれか一項に記載の材料を含む骨の修復または代替骨としての使用に適したインプラント。
- 前記アルカリ性溶液が、2から4モルの濃度を有することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記アルカリ性溶液が、水酸化ナトリウムを含むことを特徴とする請求項15に記載の方法。
