Claims (6)
- 先端側に接地電極を有する略筒状の主体金具と、
小径部と、前記小径部よりも径が大きく、前記小径部の後端に段部を介して接続する大径部と、を有する軸孔が内部に設けられ、前記主体金具内に保持される筒状の絶縁碍子と、
前記大径部内に配置される抵抗体と、
前記大径部内において径方向に張り出して前記段部に接触する鍔部と、前記鍔部から先端側に延び、前記小径部内に配置される脚部と、を有する中心電極と、
前記大径部内に配置され、前記中心電極と前記抵抗体とを電気的に接続するシール体と、
を備えるスパークプラグであって、
前記シール体は、導電性シール体と、前記絶縁碍子と接触する絶縁性シール体と、を備える
ことを特徴とするスパークプラグ。 - 前記絶縁性シール体は、前記導電性シール体の先端向き面と接触する
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記絶縁性シール体の比誘電率は、前記絶縁碍子の比誘電率よりも低い
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記絶縁性シール体は、ガラスを主成分として含有し、前記中心電極に接触している
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3までの何れか一項に記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記絶縁性シール体は、非導電性の遷移金属酸化物を含有している
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4までの何れか一項に記載のスパークプラグ。 - 前記絶縁性シール体の熱膨張係数は、前記中心電極の熱膨張係数と前記絶縁碍子の熱膨張係数との間の値である
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項5までの何れか一項に記載のスパークプラグ。
