Claims (10)
- ガラス板を製造する方法において、
バッチ材料を溶融して、溶融ガラスを形成する工程;
白金を含む金属容器であって、楕円断面形状を有する金属容器に前記溶融ガラスを流す工程;並びに
前記容器が該容器の周囲において接触する第1の導電性フランジであって、前記容器と接触する白金含有環および該白金含有環の周りに配置されたニッケル含有最外環を有し、該最外環が本体部分およびそこから延在する電極部分を有するものである第1の導電性フランジに電力を供給する工程;
を有してなり、
前記容器の長断面軸に沿った前記最外環の本体部分の幅が、前記容器の短断面軸に沿った前記最外環の本体部分の幅と異なる、方法。 - 前記白金含有環の幅が実質的に変動しない、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記白金含有環が複数の白金含有環を含む、請求項1または2記載の方法。
- 前記複数の白金含有環の内の少なくとも1つの白金含有環の厚さが、前記複数の白金含有環の内の別の白金含有環の厚さと異なる、請求項3記載の方法。
- 前記複数の白金含有環の内の最も内側の白金含有環の厚さが、前記複数の白金含有環の内の第2の白金含有環の厚さよりも大きい、請求項4記載の方法。
- 前記最外環の厚さが、前記最も内側の白金含有環の厚さよりも大きい、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記白金含有環が、前記短断面軸上に位置するノッチを含む、請求項1から6のいずれか1項記載の方法。
- 溶融材料を搬送するための装置において、
導電性外壁を有する容器であって、長軸および短軸を持つ楕円断面形状を有する容器;並びに
前記容器の周囲において該容器に接合された導電性フランジであって、白金含有環および該白金含有環の周りに配置された最外環を含む複数の環を有し、該最外環が本体部分およびそこから延在する電極部分を有するものである導電性フランジ;
を備え、
前記長軸に沿った前記最外環の本体部分の幅が、前記短軸に沿った前記最外環の本体部分の幅とは異なる、装置。 - 前記長軸に沿った前記本体部分の幅が、前記短軸に沿った前記本体部分の幅よりも大きい、請求項8記載の装置。
- 前記白金含有環が、前記短軸上に位置するノッチを含む、請求項8または9記載の装置。
