以下の表1で対照と呼ばれる従来電池を組み立てて、本発明の効果を電池放電性能について比較する。電池はアノードを含む。アノードは、4.85グラムの亜鉛、0.027グラムのポリアクリル酸ゲル化剤、および0.006グラムの腐食防止剤を含む。電池はカソードを含む。カソードは、10.90グラムのEMDおよび0.401グラムのTIMCAL BNB−90グラファイトを含む。セパレータを、アノードとカソードの間に挿入する。アノード、カソード、およびセパレータを、円筒形状のAAサイズのハウジングに挿入する。水成アルカリ性水酸化カリウム(KOH)電解質を、酸化亜鉛(ZnO)添加剤と共に、ハウジング中のアノード、カソード、およびセパレータ中に分散させる。電解質のKOHの全重量は、1.107グラムである。電解質の水の全重量は、2.450グラムである。電解質のZnOの全重量は、0.054グラムである。次に、ハウジングをシールして電池の組み立てプロセスを完了させる。
電池A、電池B、および対照は、全て、玩具、CDプレーヤー、オーディオ、およびデジカメ性能試験を受ける。以下の表2は、性能試験の結果を要約している。表2の%差の列は、対照に対する電池Aまたは電池Bの性能に関する差のパーセンテージを含む。
Claims (10)
- 電気化学的に活性なカソード材料と、
第2のp元素原子と結合している少なくとも1つのp元素原子を含んでなる頭部基であって、前記少なくとも1つのp元素原子が電気陰性度を有し、前記第2のp元素原子が電気陰性度を有し、かつ、前記少なくとも1つのp元素原子の前記電気陰性度が、前記第2のp元素原子の前記電気陰性度とは異なる、前記頭部基、および
炭化水素尾部基、
を含んでなる少なくとも1種のカソード添加剤と、
を含んでなる、カソード(12)。 - 前記少なくとも1つのp元素原子が、ホウ素、窒素、リン、硫黄、炭素、または酸素を含んでなる、請求項1に記載のカソード(12)。
- 前記炭化水素尾部基が、炭素原子4個〜炭素原子10個を含んでなる、請求項1または2に記載のカソード(12)。
- 前記少なくとも1種のカソード添加剤が、ボロン酸、ブチルボロン酸、ペンチルボロン酸、ヘキシルボロン酸、イソブチルボロン酸、アミンオキシド、オクチルジメチルアミンオキシド、N,N−ジメチルノナン−1−アミンオキシド、ホスフィンオキシド、ヘキシルジメチルホスフィンオキシド、オクチルジメチルホスフィンオキシド、デシルジメチルホスフィンオキシド、スルホン酸、オクチルスルホン酸、デシルスルホン酸、スルタイン、アルキルヒドロキシプロピルスルタイン、カルボン酸、ヘキシルカルボン酸、オクチルカルボン酸、またはそれらの混合物を含んでなる、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載のカソード(12)。
- 前記少なくとも1種のカソード添加剤が、前記カソードの約0.15重量パーセント未満である、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載のカソード(12)。
- 前記少なくとも1種のカソード添加剤が、前記カソードの約0.03重量パーセント〜前記カソードの約0.12重量パーセントである、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載のカソード(12)。
- 前記少なくとも1種のカソード添加剤が、前記カソードの約0.0048重量パーセント〜前記カソードの約0.065重量パーセントである、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載のカソード(12)。
- 前記電気化学的に活性なカソード材料が、酸化マンガン、二酸化マンガン、電解二酸化マンガン(EMD)、化学二酸化マンガン(CMD)、ハイパワー電解二酸化マンガン(HP EMD)、ラムダ二酸化マンガン、ガンマ二酸化マンガン、ベータ二酸化マンガン、酸化銀、酸化ニッケル、オキシ水酸化ニッケル、酸化銅、酸化ビスマス、高原子価のニッケル化合物、またはそれらの混合物を含んでなる、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載のカソード(12)。
- 膨張黒鉛、天然黒鉛、グラフェン、単層カーボンナノチューブ、多層カーボンナノチューブ、カーボンファイバー、カーボンナノファイバー、またはそれらの混合物を含んでなる少なくとも1種の炭素添加剤をさらに含んでなる、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のカソード(12)。
- 請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載のカソード(12)、アノード、前記カソードと前記アノードの間のセパレータ、および電解質を含んでなる、電池(10)。
