Claims (15)

  1. 反応成分を電荷センサに付着させる方法において、
    (a) 複数個の電荷センサであって、前記電荷センサのそれぞれが複数の反応成分を付着させる能力を有する、該複数個の電荷センサを備える固体支持体を準備するステップと、
    (b) 複数の特定タイプの反応成分であって、前記複数の特定タイプの前記反応成分のそれぞれが忌避部分に結合する、該複数の特定タイプの反応成分を含む流体を準備するステップと、並びに
    (c)以下の条件、すなわち、
    (i) 前記複数の特定タイプの反応成分が前記複数個の電荷センサに流体連通する、
    (ii) 前記固体支持体における前記電荷センサの個数より多い数の前記特定タイプの反応成分が前記流体内に存在する、
    (iii) 前記流体から前記特定タイプの反応成分が前記電荷センサに付着する、及び
    (iv) 前記反応成分のそれぞれに結合した前記忌避部分により、前記複数の反応成分における1つより多い数の反応成分が前記各電荷センサに付着するのを阻害する
    という条件下で、前記固体支持体に前記流体を接触させるステップと、
    を有する、方法。
  2. 請求項1記載の方法において、前記反応成分のタイプは、核酸酵素とする、方法。
  3. 請求項2記載の方法において、前記忌避部分は核酸又は核酸ナノボールを有するものとする、方法。
  4. 請求項2記載の方法において、前記核酸酵素はポリメラーゼとする、方法。
  5. 請求項2記載の方法において、前記反応成分は、少なくとも2つの異なるタイプのポリメラーゼを有するものとし、前記異なるタイプのポリメラーゼが、前記固体支持体の個別の電荷センサに付着する、方法。
  6. 請求項記載の方法において、前記異なるタイプのポリメラーゼは、同一タイプのヌクレオチドを新生核酸ストランドに取り込むとき、前記電荷センサが検出可能な相互に区別できるシグナルを生成する、方法。
  7. 請求項1記載の方法において、前記反応成分のタイプは、受容体、リガンド、核酸、及び酵素からなるグループから選択されるものとする、方法。
  8. 請求項1記載の方法において、前記忌避部分は、
    a)前記複数の反応成分のうち1つより多い数の反応成分が前記各電荷センサに付着するのを立体的に妨害する空間容積部を占め、又は
    b)前記複数の反応成分のうち1つより多い数の反応成分が前記各電荷センサに付着するのを静電的に妨害する電荷極性を有する、方法。
  9. 請求項1記載の方法において、前記各電荷センサは、前記特定タイプの反応成分のうち2つより多くの数の反応成分を付着する能力を有する、方法。
  10. 請求項1記載の方法において、さらに、前記反応成分が前記電荷センサに付着した後に、結合した忌避部分を前記反応成分から除去するステップを有する、方法。
  11. 請求項10記載の方法において、前記結合した忌避部分を前記反応成分から除去する前、かつ前記反応成分が前記電荷センサに付着した後に、前記流体を前記固体支持体から除去する、方法。
  12. 請求項1記載の方法において、前記ステップ(c) の後に、少なくとも50%の前記電荷センサに、前記特定タイプの単一反応成分が付着する、方法。
  13. 請求項1記載の方法において、前記特定タイプの反応成分は、電界を印加することによって前記電荷センサに能動的に輸送される、方法。
  14. 請求項1記載の方法において、前記特定タイプの反応成分は、導電性テザーの形成によって前記流体から前記電荷センサに付着する、方法。
  15. 請求項14記載の方法において、前記導電性テザーは、ドープしたポリチオフェン、ポリ(3,4-エチレンジオキシチオフェン)、ポリアセチレン、ポリピロール、ポリアニリン、ポリフルオレン、ポリフェニレン、ポリピレン、ポリアズレン、ポリナフタレン、ポリカルバゾール、ポリインドール、又はポリアゼピンを含む、方法。
