Claims (24)
- 2つ以上の電池セルが互いに密着又は隣接するように側面配列されている電池セルアセンブリと、
前記電池セルアセンブリの最外側の電池セルをそれぞれ覆うように固定されている前面プレート及び後面プレートと、
電池セルアセンブリの上端に装着され、前記電池セルの電極端子が貫通する貫通溝が形成されている電気絶縁性のカバー部材と、
前記カバー部材に装着された状態で配列されており、前記電池セルの電極端子にそれぞれ接続されて電池セルの電気的接続及び電圧検出を行う導電性接続部と、
前記電池セルの間に介在しており、冷媒が内部で流動する中空構造の冷媒流動部が形成されている冷却部材と、
前記冷媒流動部の冷媒を流動させるように冷却部材と連結されているマニホールドと、
を含むことを特徴とする、電池モジュール。 - 前記電池セルは、樹脂層と金属層を含むラミネートシートのケースに電極組立体が内蔵されているパウチ型電池セルであることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルアセンブリは、電池セルがそれぞれカートリッジに固定された構造が側面配列されるように積層されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記カートリッジには、電池セルアセンブリを固定するための締結部材が挿入される締結口が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記カートリッジは、両側に位置する電池セルの外周面シーリング部を固定するフレームで構成されたことを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルアセンブリは、電池セルの正極端子及び負極端子が上部方向に突出するように電池セルが配列されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記導電性接続部は、カバー部材の貫通口に対応するように配列された状態でカバー部材に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池モジュールの作動を制御するBMS(Battery Management System)をさらに含んでおり、上部カバー部材の上部にBMSが装着されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記カバー部材の縁部には、前面プレート及び後面プレートの上部を覆うように下向きに延びている2つ以上の固定部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷却部材は金属素材からなることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷却部材は、両面が電池セルにそれぞれ密着した状態で電池セルの間に介在している板状型の放熱部、前記放熱部の外縁に沿って形成されている冷媒流動部、冷媒が流入する冷媒流入口、及び冷媒が排出される冷媒排出口を含んでいることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷媒流入口及び冷媒排出口は、前記放熱部の一側に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項11に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷媒流入口及び冷媒排出口は、電池セルアセンブリの下部方向に形成されており、前記冷却部材と連結されているマニホールドは、電池セルアセンブリの下部に装着されていることを特徴とする、請求項12に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記冷媒は水であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記フレームの一側に、冷却部材が介在した状態で第1電池セルが装着されており、フレームの他側に第2電池セルが装着されており、前記第1電池セルと第2電池セルは冷却部材の両面に密着していることを特徴とする、請求項5に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記フレームには、冷却部材の冷媒流入口及び冷媒排出口が装着されるための装着湾入部が形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項15に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記電池セルアセンブリの最外側の電池セルと前面プレート及び後面プレートとの間には、1つ以上の絶縁部材がさらに介在していることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記絶縁部材は、多孔性素材からなる第1絶縁部材及びシート素材からなる第2絶縁部材で構成されていることを特徴とする、請求項17に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1絶縁部材は発泡樹脂からなることを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第1絶縁部材は最外側の電池セルと接し、第2絶縁部材は前面プレート又は後面プレートと接することを特徴とする、請求項18に記載の電池モジュール。
- 前記第2絶縁部材のシート素材は、前面プレート又は後面プレートの内面形状と同じ形状に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項20に記載の電池モジュール。
- 請求項1乃至21のいずれかに記載の電池モジュールを単位体として使用して製造される、高出力大容量の電池パック。
- 請求項22に記載の電池パックを含んでいる、デバイス。
- 前記デバイスは、電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、プラグインハイブリッド電気自動車、または電力貯蔵装置であることを特徴とする、請求項23に記載のデバイス。
