Abstract
Description
この出願は、2014年6月17日に提出された米国出願第14/306,859号の優先権の利益を主張し、その開示内容全体が、参照により本明細書に組み込まれる。
Na2SO4X10H2O(0.1M)およびCaCl2(0.1M)の溶液をパンにおいて混合した。反応の生成物は、CaSO4X2H2O(石膏)およびNaClである。混合物は、石膏の結晶化に起因して約3分間混濁したことが分かった。6インチ×6インチのガラス繊維マット片を混合後直ぐに混合物に浸漬し、3分間浸した。飽和反応を完了させた後、ガラス繊維マットを以下の方法のうちの1つによって乾燥した:
方法A:110°Fで1時間;または
方法B:400°Fで3分間オーブンにおいて乾燥して、石膏結晶を脱水し、不溶性のCaSO4とする。
硫酸カルシウム結晶によって飽和したガラス繊維マットを実施例1に記載されているように調製した。塩結晶によって処理していないガラス繊維マット片を対照として使用した。未処理のガラス繊維マットおよび硫酸カルシウム結晶によって飽和したガラス繊維マットを、それぞれ、釘抜き耐性試験用の3M Super 77スプレー接着剤を使用して紙面の石膏ボード上に接着させた。
Claims (10)
- 2枚のガラス繊維マット間に挟持されている石膏コアと:塩結晶によって飽和された第1ガラス繊維マットおよび塩結晶によって飽和された第2ガラス繊維マットとを含む石膏製品であって、塩結晶が、石膏結晶、硫酸カルシウム、塩化ナトリウムおよびこれらのあらゆる組み合わせからなる群から選択される、石膏製品。
- 2枚のガラス繊維マットのそれぞれが、ガラス繊維を含み、塩結晶が、ガラス繊維に結着されている、請求項1に記載の石膏製品。
- 2枚のガラス繊維マットのそれぞれが、ガラス繊維およびバインダを含み、塩結晶が、ガラス繊維に結着されており、バインダが、スチレンアクリルバインダである、請求項1に記載の石膏製品。
- 2枚のガラス繊維マットのそれぞれが、ガラス繊維を含み、これらのガラス繊維の少なくともいくつかが、硫酸カルシウム結晶と一緒に結着されている、請求項1に記載の石膏製品。
- 石膏製品を作製するための方法であって:
ガラス繊維マットを得ることと;
ガラス繊維マットを、重硫酸ナトリウム溶液を塩化カルシウム溶液と一緒に混合することによって調製された溶液に浸漬することと;
石膏結晶をガラス繊維マット上で溶液から結晶化させ、これにより、石膏結晶によって飽和されたガラス繊維マットを得ることと;
石膏スラリーを調製することと;
石膏結晶によって飽和されたガラス繊維マットによって石膏スラリーを少なくとも一方の側において覆うことにより石膏製品を形成することと
を含む方法。 - 重硫酸ナトリウム溶液および塩化カルシウム溶液を、モル比1:1で混合する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- 石膏結晶によって飽和されたガラス繊維マットを、石膏結晶を繊維ガラスマットにおいて結晶化した後に、ドライヤーにおいて乾燥する、請求項5に記載の方法。
- ガラス繊維と塩結晶とを含むガラス繊維マットであって、塩結晶が、ガラス繊維において結晶化されており、塩結晶が、石膏結晶であり、ガラス繊維が、約0.5〜約2.0インチ長であり、マットの厚さの少なくとも50%が、硫酸カルシウム二水和物結晶によって飽和されている、ガラス繊維マット。
- ガラス繊維マットが、以下:充填剤、顔料、殺生物剤または殺菌剤のうち少なくとも1つをさらに含む、請求項8に記載のガラス繊維マット。
- 石膏結晶の少なくともいくらかが、脱水されて、硫酸カルシウム結晶になっている、請求項8に記載のガラス繊維マット。
