- 骨情報を提供する前記ステップが、少なくとも前記骨ピンの前記骨接触部分を取り囲む骨に関する骨の特徴を取得するために医療用の撮像ステップを含む、請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記骨情報が骨密度データを含む、請求項6に記載の方法。
- 前記骨情報に基づいて決められた長さを有するピンを提供するステップをさらに含み、前記ピンが、前記骨接触部分が少なくとも2つの異なる種類の骨を貫通して延在するために十分な長さを有するように設計される、請求項6または7に記載の方法。
- 前記骨接触部分を提供する前記ステップが、
a.嵌合すべき骨部分が皮質骨であるか、または高い骨ミネラル密度を有する他の骨である場合、骨接触部分にねじ切り部分を提供するステップと、
b.嵌合すべき骨部分が小柱骨であるか、またはより低い骨ミネラル密度を有する他の骨である場合、多孔性の微小構造を有する骨接触部分を提供するステップのうちのいずれかを含む、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 前記骨ピンが、ねじ切り部分を備えた少なくとも1つの骨接触部分と、多孔性の微小構造を有する少なくとも1つの骨接触部分とを備える、請求項3、8および9のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 接続部分を設けるステップをさらに含み、前記骨ピンの接続部分が別のピンと互いに作用するように構成されるとともに、別のピンを収容するための受け口が備わっており、組み立てる前記ステップは前記接続部分を組み立てるステップをさらに含む、請求項1から10のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 前記受け口が、別のピンを収容するための貫通穴を備える、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 少なくとも骨接触部分を提供する前記ステップが、好ましくはさらに前記骨ピンを組み立てるまたは作製する前記ステップが、三次元印刷技術を利用するステップを含む、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の方法。

- 各々が前記骨に嵌合するようにカスタマイズされた複数の骨接触部分を備え、少なくとも2つの前記骨接触部分が、長さ、多孔性、材料、ねじ切り部分、直径またはコア径、あるいはその組み合わせの点において異なる特性を有する、請求項14に記載の骨ピン。
- 前記骨接触部分が少なくとも部分的に多孔性材料から作製される、請求項14または15に記載の骨ピン。
- 前記骨ピンが、ねじ切り部分が備わった少なくとも1つの骨接触部分と、多孔性の微小構造を有する少なくとも1つの骨接触部分とを備える、請求項16に記載の骨ピン。
- 多孔性の前記骨接触部分がねじ切り部分を備える、請求項16に記載の骨ピン。
- 少なくとも前記多孔性の骨接触部分を強化するための強化構造をさらに備える、請求項18に記載の骨ピン。
- 接続部分をさらに備え、前記骨ピンの接続部分が別のピンと互いに作用するように構成されるとともに、別のピンを収容するための受け口が備わっている、請求項14から19のいずれか一項に記載の骨ピン。
- 前記受け口が、別のピンを収容するための貫通穴を備える、請求項20に記載の骨ピン。
- 少なくとも前記骨接触部分が、好ましくは前記骨ピンの全体も三次元印刷技術を利用して作製される、請求項14から21のいずれか一項に記載の骨ピン。
- インプラント接触部分と、骨接触部分とを備える請求項14から22のいずれか一項に記載の骨ピンを組み立てるための部品のキットであって、前記インプラント接触部分および/または前記骨接触部分には、前記部品を相互に接続するための接続手段が備わっているキット。
