Description
難燃性ポリオールは、少なくともカルダノール成分、臭素成分、及び添加剤成分の臭素化反応生成物として調製される。カルダノール成分は、カルダノール成分の総重量に基づき、カルダノールを少なくとも80重量%含み、臭素成分は、臭素成分の総重量に基づき、臭素を少なくとも80重量%含む。添加剤成分は、アミノアルコール、アルデヒド、及び/またはケトンを含んでよい。例えば、添加剤成分は、アミノアルコールに加えて、(ホルムアルデヒド、アセトアルデヒド、アセトン、及び/またはこれらのブレンドなどの)アルデヒド及びケトンから選択される少なくとも1つを含んでよい。アルデヒド及び/またはケトンは、マンニッヒ反応によってフェニールと反応してよい。難燃性ポリオールは、ポリウレタンフォームにおいて良好な/改善した難燃性性能を示すことができる、臭素、ベンジル基、及びアミンを含んでよい。さらに、ポリオール主鎖のヒドロキシル基は、フォームの強度の増加及び/またはより良い圧縮強度を示すことに役立つことができる。
難燃性ポリオールは、剛性ポリウレタンフォームなどの製品を生成するために、ポリウレタン系のイソシアネート反応性成分の一部として使用されてよい。ポリウレタン系は、一成分系または二成分系でよい。一成分系では、イソシアネート末端プレポリマーは、イソシアネート反応性成分及び1つまたは複数のポリイソシアネートを使用して調製されてよい。二成分系では、イソシアネート反応性成分は、少なくとも1つのイソシアネートを含むイソシアネート成分と反応してよい。二成分系のイソシアネート成分は、より多くのポリイソシアネート及び/または1つ若しくは複数のイソシアネート末端プレポリマー(そのイソシアネート末端プレポリマーは難燃性ポリオールを使用して、または使用せずに調製されてよい)を含んでよい。
例示的な難燃性カルダノール変性臭素化ポリオール(FR−CMBP)構造は、1Br−C−M及び2Br−C−Mによって概略的に示される(これに対して構造は1H−NMRによって確認できる、図1参照)、一方カルダノール及びカシューナッツ殻液の記載に基づき理解されるように、RはC15H31−n、すなわちn=0、2、4、または6である。特に、FR−CMBPは2段階プロセスで得られる。
以下の表2の各自の近似配合物に従って、実施例1、2、及び3、ならびに比較例Aのためにポリウレタンフォーム試料が調製される。
Claims (10)
- カルダノール成分、臭素成分、及び添加剤成分の臭素化反応生成物である難燃性ポリオールであって、前記カルダノール成分は、前記カルダノール成分の総重量に基づき、カルダノールを少なくとも80重量%含み、前記臭素成分は、前記臭素成分の総重量に基づき、臭素を少なくとも80重量%含む、難燃性ポリオールを含む、反応系。
- 前記添加剤成分は、アミノアルコール、ならびにアルデヒド及びケトンから選択される少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1に記載の反応系。
- 前記臭素成分の前記カルダノール成分に対する比が1.5〜3.5であり、
前記臭素成分の前記アミノアルコールに対する比が0.8〜3.0である、
請求項2に記載の反応系。 - イソシアネート成分及びイソシアネート反応性成分をさらに含み、
前記イソシアネート成分が少なくとも1つのイソシアネートを含み、前記イソシアネート指数が0.9〜3.5であり、
前記イソシアネート反応性成分が、前記イソシアネート反応性成分の総重量に基づき、前記難燃性ポリオールを5重量%〜30重量%、及び前記難燃性ポリオールと異なるポリオールを少なくとも1つ含むポリオール成分を少なくとも50重量%含む、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の反応系。 - 前記ポリオール成分は、前記イソシアネート反応性成分の総重量に基づき、少なくとも5の公称平均ヒドロキシル官能価を有する少なくとも1つの高官能性ポリエーテルポリオールを30重量%〜70重量%含む、請求項4に記載の反応系。
- 前記ポリオール成分は、前記イソシアネート反応性成分の総重量に基づき、2〜4の公称平均ヒドロキシル官能価を有する少なくとも1つの低官能性ポリエーテルポリオールを10重量%〜35重量%含む、請求項4に記載の反応系。
- 反応は、いずれの固体難燃剤、液体難燃剤、及び難燃剤ブレンドも除く、請求項1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の反応系。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の反応系を使用して、剛性ポリウレタンフォームを調製する方法。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の反応系を使用して調製される、剛性ポリウレタンフォーム。
- 請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の反応系を使用して調製される、剛性ポリウレタンフォームを含む装置。
