- 上昇位置がケーシングの外面の上にある、請求項2または4に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 装置作動機構が準備完了状態にある場合に露出される縁部を含み、縁部が、対比色、テクスチャ面、光反射面またはそれらの任意の組み合わせを含む、請求項2から5のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 装置作動機構の少なくとも一部分が休止状態と準備完了状態との間で移動するときに回転する、請求項2から6のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 装置作動機構が封鎖部とディスプレイとを含み、封鎖部がケーシングに動作可能に連結されて閉鎖状態と開放状態との間で移動可能であり、装置作動機構は、封鎖部が閉鎖位置にある場合にディスプレイを見えないように隠蔽する休止状態に配置され、装置作動機構は、封鎖部が開放位置にある場合にディスプレイを露出させる準備完了状態に配置される、請求項2から7のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 装置作動機構が、センサに機械的に連結される、センサに電気的に連結される、および、センサに電気機械的に連結される装置作動機構のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 装置作動機構をセンサに機械的に連結する第1リンケージを含む、請求項8または9に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 封鎖部が、ケーシングに摺動可能に連結される、および、ハウジングに回転可能に連結される封鎖部のうちの少なくとも1つである、請求項8から10のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 装置作動機構が、装置作動機構が準備完了状態を占める場合に作動する少なくとも1つのインジケータを含み、インジケータが、光源、音源、振動源またはグラフィックディスプレイのうち少なくとも1つを含む、請求項8から11のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- センサが、機械センサ、電気機械センサ、静電容量センサ、抵抗センサ、インピーダンスセンサ、近接センサ、赤外線センサおよび距離センサのうち少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1から12のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- センサが、センサが第1状態を占める場合の第1位置と、センサが第2状態を占める場合の第2位置との間で移動可能な機械検知部材を含む、請求項13に記載の薬物送達装置。
- エネルギー源が、1つ以上のばね、ガス圧またはガス放出装置、または1つ以上のモータのうち少なくとも1つを含む、請求項1から14のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 容器に連結された注射針をさらに含む、請求項1から15のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。
- 薬物送達装置が自動注射器を含み、センサが自動注射器の注入端に配置された針ガードを含む、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の薬物送達装置。

容器が薬物を放出するためのストッパを有する、薬物を収容する容器と、

センサと、
センサおよび注入ドライブに動作可能に連結された装置作動機構とを含む、
薬物送達装置を提供するステップと、
センサを用いて薬物送達装置と注射部位との間の接触を検出して、センサを第1状態から第2状態へ変化させるステップと、
センサが第2状態を占める場合にセンサを用いて接触情報を装置作動機構へ送達するステップであって、接触情報が薬物送達装置と注射部位との間の関係を示す、ステップと、
接触情報を受信すると、装置作動機構に対する注目を促して薬物送達装置が使用可能であるという信号を送信するために、装置作動機構の少なくとも一部分に休止状態から準備完了状態への外部状態の変化を受けさせるステップと
を含む、方法。 - 装置作動機構の少なくとも一部分に外部状態の変化を受けさせるステップが、装置作動機構の外観を変化させるステップを含む、請求項18に記載の方法。
- 装置作動機構を休止状態から準備完了状態へ変化させるステップが、
(a)装置作動機構の少なくとも一部分を、薬物送達装置のケーシングの内側の下降位置と薬物送達装置のケーシングの外側の上昇位置との間で直線移動させるステップ、
(b)装置作動機構の少なくとも一部分を薬物送達装置のケーシングに対して回転させるステップ、
(c)装置作動機構の封鎖部を開放するステップ、
(d)光源を点灯させるステップ、
(e)音源を駆動するステップ、
(f)振動源を駆動するステップ、または
(g)ディスプレイを駆動するステップ
のうち少なくとも1つを含む、請求項18または19に記載の方法。 - 接触情報を装置作動機構へ送達するステップが、
(a)機械力をセンサから装置作動機構へ送達するステップ、または
(b)電気信号をセンサから装置作動機構へ送達するステップ
のうち少なくとも1つを含む、請求項18から20のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 接触情報を装置作動機構へ送達するステップが、センサを装置作動機構に接続するリンケージを介して機械力を装置作動機構へ送達するステップを含む、請求項18から21のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 接触情報を装置作動機構へ送達するステップが、センサを装置作動機構に接続する中央処理装置を介して電気信号を装置作動機構へ送達するステップを含む、請求項18から22のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
