Abstract
Description
前記カーカス層は、カーカスコードとして、繊度420dtex〜1200dtexのポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維ヤーン及び繊度520dtex〜1200dtexの芳香族ポリアミド繊維ヤーンからなり、総繊度が940dtex〜2400dtexであって下記(1)式で表される撚り係数Kが1600〜2400の範囲にある複数本の複合コードを含み、
前記複合コードは、2.0cN負荷時の中間伸度が2.0%〜4.5%の範囲にあり、150℃での乾熱収縮率と2.0cN負荷時の中間伸度との和からなる寸法安定性指数が2.5%〜6.0%の範囲にあり、かつ25℃での0N〜44Nの負荷範囲における初期弾性率M0に対する100℃での0N〜44Nの負荷範囲における初期弾性率M1の比率が76%〜94%の範囲にあることを特徴とするものである。

各試験タイヤの質量を計測した。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が小さいほど軽量であることを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ20×9Jのホイールに組み付けて転がり抵抗測定装置に装着し、空気圧を220kPa、荷重5.0kN、速度80km/hで走行した際の転がり抵抗を測定した。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が小さいほど転がり抵抗が小さいことを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ20×9Jのホイールに組み付けて試験車両に装着し、空気圧を220kPaに設定し、高速走行時の操縦安定性についてテストコースにてテストドライバーによる官能評価を行った。評価結果は、従来例を基準値(3.0)とする5点法により評価した。この評価値が大きいほど操縦安定性が優れていることを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ20×9Jのホイールに組み付け、空気圧を220kPaに設定し、JIS−D4230の耐久性能試験に準拠し、表面が平滑な鋼製で直径1707mmのドラムを備えたドラム試験機を用い、周辺温度を38±3℃に制御し、走行速度を81km/hとし、負荷荷重をJATMA規定の最大荷重の85%から4時間ごとに最大荷重の15%ずつ増加させながらタイヤが破壊するまでの走行距離を測定した。但し、最終荷重は最大荷重の280%とし、その荷重条件のまま故障を生じるまで走行を続けた。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど荷重耐久性が優れていることを意味する。

Claims (3)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備えると共に、前記一対のビード部間に装架されたカーカス層を有する空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記カーカス層は、カーカスコードとして、繊度420dtex〜1200dtexのポリエチレンテレフタレート繊維ヤーン及び繊度520dtex〜1200dtexの芳香族ポリアミド繊維ヤーンからなり、総繊度が940dtex〜2400dtexであって下記(1)式で表される撚り係数Kが1600〜2400の範囲にある複数本の複合コードを含み、

- タイヤ最大幅位置における前記カーカスコードよりも外側部分のゴムゲージが1.0mm〜2.5mmの範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
