電解質は1種類でもよいし、複数種類を併用してもよい。

一般式(1)において、mは0、1、2、3、4のいずれかである。RはCnHaFbである。n、a、bはそれぞれ独立に0以上の整数であり、2n+1=a+bを満たす。
一般式(2) (RSO2)2NLi
一般式(2)において、Rは、それぞれ独立に、CnHaFbである。n、a、bはそれぞれ独立に0以上の整数であり、2n+1=a+bを満たす。また、2つのRは、互いに結合して環を形成しても良く、その場合は、2n=a+bを満たす。

エーテルの酸素に隣接する炭素にアルキル基が結合した場合には、当該炭素はO−CH(アルキル基)−CH2との構造になる。ここで、酸素とアルキル鎖で挟まれたCH基においては、隣接する酸素と隣接するアルキル鎖が及ぼす隣接基相互作用に因り、ラジカルが安定化されるため、ラジカルが生じ易いと考えられている。よって、エーテルの酸素に隣接する炭素にアルキル基が結合した6員環の環状エーテルは、比較的ラジカルが発生しやすいと推定される。
負極の具体的な態様は、集電体と、集電体の表面に形成された負極活物質層とを具備する。

なお、本明細書における平均粒子径とは、一般的なレーザー回折式粒度分布測定装置で試料を測定した場合におけるD50を意味する。
例えば、正極と負極とでセパレータを挟持して電極体とする。電極体は、正極、セパレータ及び負極を重ねた積層型、又は、正極、セパレータ及び負極の積層体を捲いた捲回型のいずれの型にしても良い。正極の集電体および負極の集電体から外部に通ずる正極端子および負極端子までを、集電用リード等を用いて接続した後に、電極体に本発明の電解液を加えてリチウムイオン二次電池とするとよい。
フルオロエチレンカーボネート及び4−メチルテトラヒドロピランを体積比20:80で混合して混合溶媒とした。混合溶媒にLiPF6を溶解して、LiPF6の濃度が1.2mol/Lである実施例1の電解液を製造した。
フルオロエチレンカーボネート及び4−メチルテトラヒドロピランを体積比20:80で混合して混合溶媒とした。混合溶媒にLiBF4を溶解して、LiBF4の濃度が1.2mol/Lである実施例2の電解液を製造した。
実施例2の電解液を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で、実施例2のリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。
フルオロエチレンカーボネート及び4−メチルテトラヒドロピランを体積比20:80で混合して混合溶媒とした。混合溶媒に(FSO2)2NLiを溶解して、(FSO2)2NLiの濃度が1.2mol/Lである実施例3の電解液を製造した。
実施例3の電解液を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で、実施例3のリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。
フルオロエチレンカーボネート及び酢酸エチルを体積比20:80で混合して混合溶媒とした。混合溶媒にLiPF6を溶解して、LiPF6の濃度が1.2mol/Lである比較例1の電解液を製造した。
比較例1の電解液を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で、比較例1のリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。
フルオロエチレンカーボネート及びジメチルカーボネートを体積比20:80で混合して混合溶媒とした。混合溶媒にLiPF6を溶解して、LiPF6の濃度が1.2mol/Lである比較例2の電解液を製造した。
比較例2の電解液を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で、比較例2のリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。
フルオロエチレンカーボネート及びテトラヒドロフランを体積比20:80で混合して混合溶媒とした。混合溶媒にLiPF6を溶解して、LiPF6の濃度が1.2mol/Lである比較例3の電解液を製造した。
比較例3の電解液を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で、比較例3のリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。
フルオロエチレンカーボネート及びジグライムを体積比20:80で混合して混合溶媒とした。混合溶媒にLiPF6を溶解して、LiPF6の濃度が1.2mol/Lである比較例4の電解液を製造した。
比較例4の電解液を用いた以外は、実施例1と同様の方法で、比較例4のリチウムイオン二次電池を製造した。
各リチウムイオン二次電池に対して、0.2mAで0.01Vまで充電し、0.2mAで1.0Vまで放電を行うとの初回充放電を行った。さらに、各リチウムイオン二次電池に対して、0.5mAで0.01Vまで充電し、0.5mAで1.0Vまで放電を行うとの充放電サイクルを20回繰り返した。
なお、本評価例では、Si含有負極活物質がリチウムを吸蔵する印加を充電といい、Si含有負極活物質がリチウムを放出する印加を放電という。
初期効率(%)=100×(初回放電容量)/(初回充電容量)
容量維持率(%)=100×(20サイクル目の放電容量)/(1サイクル目の放電容量)
Claims (5)
- 電解質と、フッ素含有環状カーボネートと、アルキル基で置換されていてもよい6員環の環状エーテルとを含有することを特徴とする電解液。
- 前記フッ素含有環状カーボネートと前記6員環の環状エーテルの体積比が1:99〜35:65の範囲内である請求項1に記載の電解液。
- 前記電解液に含まれる全非水溶媒に対する前記6員環の環状エーテルの割合が50体積%以上である請求項1又は2に記載の電解液。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の電解液を備える蓄電装置。
- Si含有負極活物質を具備する負極を備える請求項4に記載の蓄電装置。
