Claims (9)
- クーラントタンクにおける取付開口に取り付けられると共に、ポンプケーシングと、芯軸と、上部軸封と、下部軸封アセンブリとを備える直立型ポンプの構造であって、
前記ポンプケーシングは、クーラントタンクにおける取付開口を閉塞するように、該取付開口に設置されると共に、入水口と、出水口と、水抜き孔と、上部環状凸縁と、下部環状凸縁と、出水通路とを含み、
該入水口は、該ポンプケーシングの底端に形成され、
該出水口の高さ位置は、前記クーラントタンクにおける取付開口の高さ位置より高く、
該水抜き孔は、該ポンプケーシングの壁面に形成され、その高さ位置は、前記クーラントタンクにおける取付開口の高さ位置より低く、
該上部環状凸縁は、該ポンプケーシングの内周壁面を囲繞するように突出して形成され、該上部環状凸縁によって取り囲まれるように形成された上部挿設孔を有し、該上部挿設孔の高さ位置は、前記クーラントタンクにおける取付開口の高さと対応しており、
該下部環状凸縁は、該ポンプケーシングの内周壁面を囲繞するように突出して形成され、該下部環状凸縁によって取り囲まれるように形成された下部挿設孔を有し、該上部環状凸縁及び下部環状凸縁が上下に離間して配設され、該上部環状凸縁及び下部環状凸縁に挟まれるように水抜き空間が形成され、前記水抜き孔が該水抜き空間と互いに連通し、
該出水通路は、前記出水口と連通する頂端開口と、前記下部環状凸縁の下方に形成されると共に前記入水口と連通する底端開口を有し、
前記芯軸は、前記ポンプケーシングの上部挿設孔及び下部挿設孔を貫通し、
前記上部軸封は、前記上部挿設孔の壁面と芯軸との間に設けられ、該上部挿設孔の壁面と芯軸との間の隙間を閉塞し、
前記下部軸封アセンブリは、前記下部挿設孔の壁面と芯軸との間に設けられ、該下部挿設孔の壁面と芯軸との間の隙間を閉塞することを特徴とする直立型ポンプの構造。 - 前記上部挿設孔の壁面と前記上部軸附との間に、取り外し可能に設けられる密封蓋をさらに備え、該密封蓋の外周壁面が該上部挿設孔の壁面に密着当接し、該密封蓋は、該上部軸封と一緒に、該上部挿設孔の壁面と芯軸との間の隙間を閉塞することを特徴とする前記請求項1に記載の直立型ポンプの構造。
- 前記密封蓋は、硬質内層と、弾性材料からなる弾性外層とを有し、該弾性外層は、該硬質内層を覆い、該硬質内層は、該弾性外層より高い剛性を持つことを特徴とする前記請求項2に記載の直立型ポンプの構造。
- 前記上部軸封は、前記密封蓋の弾性外層に一体成型されることを特徴とする前記請求項3に記載の直立型ポンプの構造。
- 前記ポンプケーシングの頂部に囲繞するように形成されると共に、前記上部環状凸縁の上方に位置するモータ取付壁をさらに備え、
該上部環状凸縁の頂面に、少なくとも一つの凹槽が凹設され、該凹槽は、前記密封蓋の周縁の下方まで延在し、
該ポンプケーシングは、少なくとも一つの整備用開口を有し、該整備用開口は、該上部環状凸縁の頂面と、該モータ取付壁の底面との間の高さに配置され、該整備用開口により、ドライバーを前記凹槽へ挿入可能にすることを特徴とする前記請求項2から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の直立型ポンプの構造。 - 前記上部挿設孔の開口直径が、前記下部軸封アセンブリの外径より大きいことを特徴とする前記請求項2から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の直立型ポンプの構造。
- 前記芯軸を囲繞するように、間隔を置いて設置される三つの固定ボルトをさらに備え、それら固定ボルトは、前記水抜き空間に配置されるように、前記下側軸封アセンブリに螺合され、その先端が前記芯軸に当接することを特徴とする前記請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の直立型ポンプの構造。
- 前記水抜き孔の高さ位置が、前記それら固定ボルトのうち、少なくとも一つの高さ位置と対応することを特徴とする前記請求項7に記載の直立型ポンプの構造。
- 前記下部環状凸縁に斜面部が突出するように形成され、該斜面部が、前記水抜き孔の開口の下方に位置することを特徴とする前記請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の直立型ポンプの構造。
