【発明の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】この発明は、カーオーディオ等に
用いられる照光ツマミ装置に関するものである。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】図２は例えば実開平３−２４２３２号公
報に示された従来の照光ツマミ装置を示す断面図であ
り、図において、１１は照光ツマミで、１１ａはその内
部に設けられた導光部、１１ｂは光屈折部、１１ｃは外
面の発光部分である。１２ａはこの照光ツマミ１１と嵌
合する回転軸、１２はＬＥＤ付ボリューム、１３はＬＥ
Ｄランプ、１４はプリント基板である。
【０００３】このようなものにおいては、ＬＥＤランプ
１３からの光線は、照光ツマミ１１の内部に設けられた
導光部１１ａを経由して光屈曲部１１ｂからの反射にて
発光部１１ｃが照射されることになる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来の照光ツマミ装置
は以上のように構成されており、照光ツマミ１１が回転
軸１２ａに同期して回転するので、発光部１１ｃがポイ
ント表示しか対応できず、またＬＥＤランプ固定のた
め、回転角による輝度差発生があるなどの問題点があっ
た。
【０００５】この発明は上記のような問題点を解消する
ためになされたもので、発光部に機能及び操作表示が出
来るとともに、操作性を向上した照光ツマミ装置を提供
することを目的としている。

【課題を解決するための手段】この発明に係る照光ツマ
ミ装置は、ボリュームの軸を回転機能をもたない内軸
と、回転機能を有する外軸の２軸構成とし、その内軸に
嵌着されたツマミの発光部に機能及び操作表示を対応し
て設けたものである。

【作用】この発明における照光ツマミ装置は、回転機能
をもたないボリューム内軸に嵌着されたツマミの発光部
の意匠面に操作、機能表示ができ、かつ回転機能を有す
るボリュームの外軸に嵌着された外側のツマミでボリュ
ームの操作をする。

【実施例】実施例１． 以下、この発明の一実施例を図について説明する。図１
において、１は内側の第１のツマミで、１ａはその導光
部、１ｂは光屈折部、１ｃは発光部で、これらは一体成
形されたものであり、回転機能をもたないボリュームの
内軸２ａに嵌合されている。３はこの第１のツマミ１の
外側を覆う第２のツマミであり、回転機能を有するボリ
ュームの外軸２ｂに嵌合されている。３ａは第２のツマ
ミ３の透明部であり、一体成形されている。４はプリン
ト基板５に取付けられた光源、６は導光体である。なお
７、８は第１のツマミ１の表面に表示された操作文字と
機能文字を示す。
【０００９】次に動作について説明する。光源４からの
光線は導光体６を通過し第２のツマミ３に導かれる。次
にこの光線は第１のツマミ１の光屈折部１ｂに反射さ
れ、導光部１ａを通過し発光部１ｃに到達することにな
る。そしてこの光線により第１のツマミ１に形成されて
いる操作表示７、機能表示８が照明される。このとき、
回転機能を有する外軸２ｂが回転されたとしても第２の
ツマミ３に透明部３ａが設けられているため、任意の角
度において照明可能となる。また光屈折部１ｂが１か所
しかないため、光量の減衰が少なく、高輝度表示が出来
る利点がある。なお第２のツマミ３の所在を明確にする
ためには導光体６により外周の漏光照明も可能である。

【発明の効果】以上のようにこの発明は、ボリュームの
軸仕様に変化をもたせ、ツマミに導光部、透明部を設け
ることにより、操作、機能表示を可能にしたもので、操
作性が大幅に向上し、かつデザイン的にも新規なものと
なる。

    (57)【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 ボリュームなどの操作機構を表示するた
    めに内部光源で照光する照光ツマミ装置において、回転
    機能をもたない内軸に、表面に操作文字、機能文字など
    が表示され、内部に導光部とこの導光部が光屈折して表
    面の発光部を照射するように構成した第１のツマミを嵌
    着するとともに、この第１のツマミの周りを覆うように
    回転機能を有する外軸に嵌着され、光を通過する透明部
    を有する第２のツマミを備えたことを特徴とする照光ツ
    マミ装置。
