2. Description of the Related Art In a wet medium dispersion, a mixture of a dispersion medium and a processing material is stirred in a tank, and the processing material is finely divided by a shear force generated between the mediums provided with motion, and dispersed in a liquid. The separated material is separated and taken out from the dispersion medium, and as a processing method, there are known a case where the dispersion process is continuously performed and a case where the batch process is performed.

In order to perform the dispersion treatment in a batch manner, a basket is provided in a tank, the dispersion medium is stored in the basket so as not to flow out, and the treatment material in the tank is stirred by a material stirring blade. There is known a medium dispersing device in which the medium is flowed into the basket and dispersed by a medium stirring blade provided in the basket (for example, Japanese Patent Publication No. 59-46665).

According to the above apparatus, since the dispersion medium is stored in the basket and does not flow into the tank, it is easy to separate the medium and the processed material after the dispersion processing, but the basket is kept in the tank during the dispersion processing. Because it is located, the basket becomes a resistance and prevents smooth flow of the processing material, etc.,
In some cases, processing could not be performed in a short time.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to a batch type medium dispersing process as described above, wherein there is no object in the tank, such as a basket, which hinders the flow of the processing material and the dispersing medium during the process. It is another object of the present invention to provide a method for dispersing a medium in which a dispersion medium can be easily separated from a processing material.

According to the present invention, the dispersion treatment is performed by stirring the dispersion medium and the processing material in the tank in the usual manner. After the dispersion treatment, the upper surface is opened below the liquid level of the tank. Positioning the basket, agitating the processing material and the dispersion medium in the tank to generate an axially downward flow from the peripheral portion of the tank, and recovering the dispersion medium flowing into the basket. The above-mentioned object is achieved by providing a wet medium dispersion method.

The dispersing operation is carried out by storing the dispersing medium and the processing material in a tank and stirring them with a stirring blade as usual. After the dispersion treatment, the basket is lowered below the liquid level in the tank, and the dispersion medium and the processing material are caused to flow from the periphery downward in the axial direction, so that the dispersion medium flows into the basket and is captured. Thereafter, if the basket is raised above the liquid level and rotated, the processing material can be shaken off and only the dispersion medium can be collected.

When the basket (9) is raised and lowered, the opening (10) on the upper surface is raised and lowered by a lifting means to a lower position where the tank is below the liquid level and an upper position where the opening is above the liquid level. The lifting means can be variously configured. In the figure, the basket (9) is attached to the lower end of a cylindrical attachment shaft (13) located on the outer periphery of the drive shaft (5), and the upper part of the attachment shaft (13) is a stirring head (3). (14)
Is inserted to be able to move up and down. A screw (15) and a nut (16) are provided on the upper part of the mounting shaft (13), and the nut (16)
Is seated on the support plate (14). Above nut (16)
Is connected via pulleys (17), (18) and belt (19)
The motor (7) is driven to rotate the nut (16) so that the mounting shaft (13) moves up and down. Note that, instead of the above screw mechanism, the lifting / lowering means can be constituted by a cylinder mechanism such as air pressure and hydraulic pressure, a rack and pinion mechanism, a cam mechanism, a link mechanism and other appropriate mechanisms.

The basket (9) is preferably rotatably provided so as to be rotatable in a raised position. FIG. 2 shows an embodiment of the invention, in which the key of the mounting shaft (13) is
A bearing plate (14) having a key (21) engaged with the groove (20) is mounted on the bearing (2).
It is rotatably supported by 2), provided with engagement holes (23)... On the peripheral surface, and provided with pins (24) so as to be able to engage with the engagement holes (23). Then, when the pin (24) is moved by the cylinder (25) and is engaged with the engagement hole (23), the rotation of the bearing plate (14) is prevented, and the pin (24) is stopped via the nut (16). The mounting shaft (13) moves up and down. When the pin (24) is pulled out from the engagement hole (23), the bearing plate (14) rotates together with the nut (16) with the rotation of the nut, and the basket (14) rotates through the mounting shaft (13). (9)
Can be rotated. The rotating structure of the basket can be variously configured in addition to the embodiment shown in FIG.
For example, only the basket may be directly rotated.

The bottom wall of the basket (9) may be closed, but it is preferable that the dispersion medium collected in the basket can be easily discharged. For example, in the embodiment shown in FIG. 3, a mounting hole (27) formed in the center of the bottom wall (26) of the basket (9) is inserted into the lower end of the mounting shaft (13), and the mounting nut is inserted from the outside thereof. The basket (9) can be removed from the mounting shaft (13) by removing the mounting nut (28).
The dispersion medium can be discharged from 7). Further, the bottom wall and the like may be formed in a lid structure that can be opened and closed.

In the present invention, the processing material and the dispersion medium (11) stored in the tank (8) are stirred with the stirring blade (9) in a state where the basket (9) is raised (the chain line in FIG. 1). Rotate in 4) and perform the dispersion processing as usual. After the dispersion treatment, the opening (10) on the upper surface of the basket (9) is lowered by the elevating means so as to be below the liquid level (solid line in FIG. 1), and the stirring blade (4) is rotated to disperse the processing material. When the medium flows axially downward from the periphery of the tank, the dispersion medium (11) that has entered the basket (9) is captured by the basket (9) and collected. Such a flow pattern may be performed by a known method. The processing material that has entered the basket flows out of the basket (9) and returns to the tank.

Thereafter, if the basket (9) is raised above the liquid level and rotated by the elevating means, the processing material can be shaken off to leave only the dispersion medium in the basket (9).

In the above-mentioned embodiment, although the shape and the rotation direction of the stirring blade (4) used for dispersion are selected, the processing material and the dispersion medium are caused to flow downward in the axial direction. A stirring blade different from the stirring blade used for the dispersion treatment may be provided to generate the flow pattern as described above.
Also, in the above embodiment, the axial downward flow is generated at the center of the tank. However, the axial flow can be generated at an appropriate part in the tank, and the basket is formed at the corresponding part. (9) may be provided so as to be able to move up and down.

The present invention is constructed as described above, and since there is no resistance of the basket during the dispersing operation, the dispersing operation can be performed efficiently, the dispersing time can be shortened, and after the dispersing process, a special separation is performed. The dispersing medium can be collected in a basket without any equipment to separate it from the processing material, and the medium can be easily cleaned by pulling out the tank from under the stirring head and placing the basket in the cleaning tank. It is easy to change materials and the like, and can be suitably used in the case of small-lot production of many kinds.
