Abstract

[Problem] To provide a pet bed that is highly portable, aesthetically pleasing when carried, and highly functional.
[Solution] A bag-type pet bed characterized by a retractable cushion being detachably provided inside an openable and closable case, a handle being provided on the outside of the case, and a trunk-like appearance. The detachable cushion can be stored inside the case and used as a pet bed, and it is also highly portable, so not only can a comfortable environment for pets to rest be created in the owner's home, but that comfortable environment can also be taken with travel destinations.

Description

This invention relates to a bag-type pet bed that can be used as a pet bed with a removable cushion stored inside the case, and is highly portable.

Portable pet beds have been known for a long time. For example, Patent Document 1 discloses a pet bed with a handle 22 on the ceiling 2, and Patent Document 2 discloses a pet bed made easier to transport using an air bladder core material formed in the shape of a cushion.

However, these portable beds are quite large to move, and when placed indoors, they take up storage space and may detract from the aesthetic appeal of the living space.

Therefore, in view of the conventional situation described above, this invention aims to provide a pet bed that is highly portable, aesthetically pleasing when carried, and highly functional.

To solve the above problems, the bag-type pet bed according to this invention is characterized by having a resilient cushion detachably provided inside an openable and closable case, a handle provided on the outside of the case, and a trunk-like appearance. Such a bag-type pet bed according to this invention can be suitably used to allow pets to rest comfortably at the owner's home or while traveling.

In the bag-type pet bed according to this invention, it is preferable that at least a part of the case or the handle is made of denim jeans or a skirt. Using used clothing such as jeans or a skirt worn by the owner for part of the case or handle can provide pets with a sense of security due to the familiar texture and scent of the surface.

In the bag-type pet bed according to this invention, it is preferable that the jeans or skirt have pockets. By using jeans or a skirt with pockets, small items can be stored in the pockets.

This invention provides a bag-type pet bed that not only allows owners to create a comfortable resting environment for their pets in their own homes, but also enables them to take that comfortable environment with them when traveling.

A preferred embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
The bag-type pet bed 1 shown in Figures 1 and 2 has a removable cushion 2 (mattress) inside a case 3, and a carrying handle 4 on the outside of the case 3. When the case 3 is opened, the cushion 2 is exposed and it can be used as a pet bed 1, but if the case 3 is made of a relatively soft material, it can also be used as a bed 1 when the case 3 is closed. In addition, the owner can sit on the bed 1.

By using jeans (or denim fabric such as skirts) on the surface of Case 3, it excels in both aesthetics and fashion, functioning as an interior decoration. Furthermore, by utilizing the owner's jeans (or denim fabric such as skirts), it provides a more secure space for pets. The Case 3 itself contains a zippered compartment 5 and partitioned pockets 6. When the removable cushion 2 stored inside is removed, it functions as a trunk-shaped case (bag).

Case 3's surface uses denim fabric, resulting in a visually appealing and fashionable design that is easy to appeal to. Using denim on the surface also makes it resistant to friction and impact during transport, and allows it to develop a unique patina over time, reflecting the owner's personality.

When using denim for the surface, for example, it's possible to make it from the owner's clothing, and the pet will feel safe and secure sleeping in it because it will have the owner's scent. As a result, the bond of trust between the owner and the pet will also improve.

Various fabrics can be used for the internally stored cushion 2. A wide variety of designs are possible for both the main case 3 and cushion 2.

The surface of Case 3 can be constructed from materials other than clothing fabric (jeans), such as wood or metal.

It's possible to display the pet's name on the surface of Case 3. Specifically, names can be decorated using rhinestones such as Swarovski®, or using embroidery, patches, or stencils to create a hand-drawn look.

The bag-type pet bed of this invention can be widely used as a portable bed for travel and other occasions.

A bag-type pet bed characterized by a removable, resilient cushion inside a case that can be opened and closed, a handle on the outside of the case, and a trunk-like appearance. The bag-type pet bed according to claim 1, wherein at least a portion of the case or the handle is made of denim jeans or a skirt. The bag-type pet bed according to claim 2, wherein the jeans or skirt is provided with pockets.
