Claims (7)
- ホログラフィックROMシステムであって、
レーザー光を発生させる光源と、
前記レーザー光を拡大するビーム拡大器と、
その中央部分に円状に形成された、前記ビーム拡大器で拡大されたレーザー光の内側部分を通過させて参照光を生成する光通過領域と、前記光通過領域を取り囲むように環状に形成された、前記拡大されたレーザー光の外側部分を変調させて信号光を生成するデータパターン領域とを含むマスクと、
その中央部分に円状に形成された、前記マスクで生成された前記参照光を通過させる透明領域と、前記透明領域を取り囲むように環状に形成された、前記マスクで生成された前記信号光が入射される記録領域とを含むホログラフィック媒体と、
前記ホログラフィック媒体を挟んで前記マスクの反対側に配置された、前記ホログラフィック媒体の前記透明領域を透過した前記参照光を反射して前記ホログラフィック媒体の前記記録領域に入射させる円錐ミラーとを含むホログラフィックROMシステム。 - 前記光通過領域の大きさ及び形状は、前記ホログラフィック媒体の前記透明領域と同じである請求項1に記載のホログラフィックROMシステム。
- 前記円錐ミラーはホルダーにより固定されており、前記ホルダーは前記円錐ミラーにおける前記ホログラフィック媒体と反対側の面に取り付けられている請求項1に記載のホログラフィックROMシステム。
- 前記円錐ミラーは、多重化のために、反射面の底角が異なる他の円錐ミラーに取り替えられる請求項1に記載のホログラフィックROMシステム。
- 前記円錐ミラーの反射面の適切な底角が∠bであり、
前記円錐ミラーによって前記ホログラフィック媒体の前記記録領域に向けて反射された前記参照光の光路と、前記記録領域の表面との間の角度が∠2aであり、
前記円錐ミラーに入射された前記参照光の半径がX1であり、
前記ホログラフィック媒体の前記記録領域の幅がX3であり、
前記角度∠2aが、∠2a<Sin−1(X1/X3)の式により定められると、
∠a+∠b=45°の式から∠bが求められることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のホログラフィックROMシステム。
- 前記円錐ミラーと前記ホログラフィック媒体との間の距離が多重化のために調節される請求項1に記載のホログラフィックROMシステム。
- 前記円錐ミラーと前記ホログラフィック媒体との間の距離がYであり
前記円錐ミラーに入射された前記参照光の半径がX1であり、
前記円錐ミラーによって前記ホログラフィック媒体の前記記録領域に反射された前記参照光の光路と、前記記録領域の表面との間の角度が∠2aであるとき、
前記Yは、Y=X1・tan2aの式から求められることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のホログラフィックROMシステム。
