Description
また、排気通路における酸化触媒の近傍に酸素センサを配設し、堆積量算出手段は、酸素センサの検出結果に基づいて酸素吸蔵剤による酸素吸蔵量を推定し、この酸素吸蔵量が予め設定された所定値以上であるときに加熱手段により酸化触媒を加熱して排気微粒子の堆積量を算出する。
従って、酸化触媒の酸素吸蔵剤は、常時、排気ガス中に存在するが酸素を吸蔵しており、加熱手段により酸化触媒を加熱すると、酸化触媒に捕集された排気微粒子は、酸素吸蔵剤に吸蔵されている酸素を伴って適正に燃焼することとなり、堆積量算出手段は、このときの温度上昇度合に応じて精度良く排気微粒子の堆積量を算出することができる。

Claims (5)
- 排気通路に配設された酸化触媒と、該酸化触媒に担持された酸素吸蔵剤と、前記酸化触媒を加熱する加熱手段と、前記酸化触媒の温度を計測する温度センサと、前記加熱手段により前記酸化触媒を加熱したときの温度上昇度合に応じて排気微粒子の堆積量を算出する堆積量算出手段とを具え、前記堆積量算出手段は、燃料カット継続時間及び吸入空気量に基づいて前記酸素吸蔵剤による酸素吸蔵量を推定し、この酸素吸蔵量が予め設定された所定値以上であるときに前記加熱手段により前記酸化触媒を加熱して排気微粒子の堆積量を算出することを特徴とする排気微粒子の測定装置。
- 排気通路に配設された酸化触媒と、該酸化触媒に担持された酸素吸蔵剤と、前記酸化触媒を加熱する加熱手段と、前記酸化触媒の温度を計測する温度センサと、前記加熱手段により前記酸化触媒を加熱したときの温度上昇度合に応じて排気微粒子の堆積量を算出する堆積量算出手段とを具え、前記排気通路における前記酸化触媒の近傍に酸素センサが配設され、前記堆積量算出手段は、該酸素センサの検出結果に基づいて前記酸素吸蔵剤による酸素吸蔵量を推定し、この酸素吸蔵量が予め設定された所定値以上であるときに前記加熱手段により前記酸化触媒を加熱して排気微粒子の堆積量を算出することを特徴とする排気微粒子の測定装置。
- 請求項1または2に記載の排気微粒子の測定装置において、前記堆積量算出手段は、前記加熱手段により前記酸化触媒を加熱して排気微粒子を燃焼し、前記酸化触媒が排気微粒子を燃焼不能な温度以下に低下してから吸入空気量の積算を開始し、この吸入空気量の積算値が予め設定された所定値より大きくなったときに前記加熱手段により前記酸化触媒を加熱して排気微粒子の堆積量を算出することを特徴とする排気微粒子の測定装置。
- 請求項3に記載の排気微粒子の測定装置において、前記排気通路における前記酸化触媒の近傍に排気温度センサが配設され、前記堆積量算出手段は、該排気温度センサにより検出された排気ガス温度が排気微粒子を燃焼可能な燃焼温度以上になったときに、吸入空気量の積算値をキャンセルして再度吸入空気量の積算を開始することを特徴とする排気微粒子の測定装置。
- 請求項1から4のいずれか一つに記載の排気微粒子の測定装置において、前記堆積量算出手段は、前記加熱手段により前記酸化触媒を加熱して排気微粒子の堆積量を算出するとき、リッチ運転を禁止することを特徴とする排気微粒子の測定装置。
