Description
また、上記ノンハロゲン系難燃樹脂組成物が、当該組成物に含まれるポリマー成分100重量部に対し、難燃剤を5〜200重量部含んでいる場合には、良好な難燃性を発揮できる。
本電線は、導体の外周に内層が被覆されるとともに、内層の最外周に外層が被覆された多層構造を有している。
上記導体としては、具体的には、例えば、単線の金属線、複数本の金属素線が撚り合わされたもの、複数本の金属素線が撚り合わされ、さらに圧縮されたものなどを例示することができる。また、その導体径や導体の材質などは、特に限定されるものではなく、必要に応じて適宜選択することができる。
本電線において、上記内層は、1層であっても良いし、2層以上積層されていても良い。好ましくは、構造が比較的簡単であり、製造性にも優れるなどの観点から、上記内層は1層であると良い。
本電線において、上記外層は、ノンハロゲン系難燃樹脂組成物より形成されている。
本電線の製造方法としては、一般に知られる手法を用いることができ、特に限定されるものではない。例えば、先ず、各成分と、必要に応じて他の成分や添加剤など任意に配合し、これらを通常のタンブラーなどでドライブレンドしたり、もしくは、バンバリミキサー、加圧ニーダー、混練押出機、二軸押出機、ロールなどの通常の混練機で溶融混練して均一に分散し、内層形成材料、外層形成材料を作製する。
本ワイヤーハーネスは、本電線を少なくとも含んだ電線束が、ワイヤーハーネス保護材により被覆されてなる。
本実施例において使用した供試材料の製造元、商品名などは次の通りである。
・高密度ポリエチレン(HDPE)[(株)プライムポリマー製、「ハイゼックス5000S」]
・ポリプロピレン(PP)[(株)プライムポリマー製、「プライムポリプロE−150GK」]
・エチレン−酢酸ビニル共重合体(EVA)[三井・デュポン・ポリケミカル(株)製、「エバフレックスEV360」]
・アイオノマー樹脂(ここでは、エチレン−メタクリル酸共重合体の分子間を亜鉛イオンで架橋したものを使用)[三井・デュポン・ポリケミカル(株)製、「ハイミラン1706」]
・オレフィン系熱可塑性エラストマー(TPO)[(株)プライムポリマー製、「プライムTPO T310E」]
・ポリアミド6(PA6)[デュポン(株)製、「ザイテルFN727」]
・ポリカーボネート樹脂(PC)[三菱エンジニアリングプラスチックス(株)製、「ユーロピンS−2000」]

初めに、二軸押出機を用いて、後述する表に示す各成分を混練し、実施例および比較例に係る絶縁電線に用いる、内層形成材料、外層形成材料のペレットを作製した。
以上のように作製した実施例および比較例に係る絶縁電線について、難燃性試験、耐摩耗性試験、絶縁強度試験を行い、電線評価を行った。各試験方法および評価基準は、次の通りである。
難燃性試験は、JASO D611−94に準拠して行った。すなわち、先ず、実施例および比較例に係る絶縁電線を300mmの長さに切り出して試験片とした。
耐摩耗性試験は、JASO D611−94に準拠し、ブレード往復法により行った。すなわち、先ず、実施例および比較例に係る絶縁電線を750mmの長さに切り出して試験片とした。
絶縁材料強度試験は、次のように行った。すなわち、先ず、実施例および比較例に係る絶縁電線を900mmの長さに切り出して試験片とした。次いで、各試験片の両端25mmの被覆材を剥ぎ取り、張力がかからないように真っ直ぐに伸ばし、直径3.2mmの鉄棒と直角に交わるように取り付けた。
Claims (6)
- 導体の外周に少なくとも1層以上の内層が被覆されるとともに、前記内層の最外周に外層が被覆されており、
前記内層のうち、少なくとも前記導体に接する層は、
カルボン酸基、酸無水基、エポキシ基、ヒドロキシル基、アミノ基、アルケニル環状イミノエーテル基、および、シラン基から選択される少なくとも1種以上の官能基が導入されたオレフィン系樹脂より形成され、かつ、
含有される添加剤の割合は、前記官能基が導入されたオレフィン系樹脂100重量部に対して20重量部以下とされており、
前記外層は、ノンハロゲン系のベース樹脂と難燃剤とを含むノンハロゲン系難燃樹脂組成物より形成されていることを特徴とする絶縁電線。 - 前記官能基が導入されたオレフィン系樹脂に占める官能基の含有割合は、0.1〜10重量%の範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の絶縁電線。
- 前記ノンハロゲン系難燃樹脂組成物は、当該組成物に含まれるポリマー成分100重量部に対し、難燃剤を5〜200重量部含むことを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の絶縁電線。
- 前記ノンハロゲン系難燃樹脂組成物は、オレフィン系樹脂をベース樹脂として含むことを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れかに記載の絶縁電線。
- 前記外層の厚みは、10〜300μmの範囲内にあり、
前記内層のうち、少なくとも前記導体に接する層の厚みは、5〜100μmの範囲内にあることを特徴とする請求項1から4の何れかに記載の絶縁電線。 - 請求項1から5の何れかに記載の絶縁電線を有することを特徴とするワイヤーハーネス。
