Claims (3)
- 先端部に電極把持装置を有しかつアルミニウム合金からなる電極支持アームの内部に、冷却水通路が設けられてなる電極支持アームにおける冷却構造において、
前記電極支持アームは、溶接により接合される上下面部と左右側面部とを有する四角筒形状で、前記上下面部に前記冷却水通路が形成されているだけであることを特徴とする電極支持アームにおける冷却構造。 - 前記上下面部は、前記左右側面部よりも板厚が厚い板材で形成される上下面部で、
前記冷却水通路は、前記上下面部を長手方向に貫通する複数個の貫通孔であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電極支持アームにおける冷却構造。 - 前記上下面部及び左右側面部を構成する板材は、それぞれ、厚さが40mm〜80mm,25mm〜45mmであり、
前記貫通孔は直径20mm〜50mmであることを特徴とする請求項2記載の電極支持アームにおける冷却構造。
