Description
図1に示すように実施の形態1の無線通信装置100は、FEC符号器110と、レートマッチング処理部120と、インタリーバ130と、誤り発生要因対処部140と、MIMO変調部150と、送信RF部160−1〜Nとを有する。
(2)測定した各サブストリームに対応する信号の信号強度のいずれかが所定のしきい値未満である場合には、「雑音」が誤り発生要因として支配的であると判断する。
実施の形態1においては、誤り訂正符号化、レート制御およびインタリーブを行った後のデータ系列をサブストリームに分けてMIMO送信を行った。これに対して実施の形態2においては、送信データの所定の単位をサブストリームにまず分配し、サブストリームごとに誤り訂正符号化、レート制御およびインタリーブなどの処理を行い、当該処理後のサブストリームをMIMO送信するものである。すなわち、実施の形態2においては各サブストリームをパケットとして扱い、このパケット(サブストリーム)ごとに誤り検出を行い再送制御する。
実施の形態1においては、無線通信装置100と無線通信装置200との間の、1対1の通信における再送制御について説明を行った。これに対して、実施の形態3は、複数の無線通信装置200(ユーザ)と通信を行う無線通信装置における、ユーザ割り当てに誤り発生要因情報を利用するシステムに関するものである。
(1)実施の形態1および実施の形態2においては、パケットの受信側である無線通信装置200および無線通信装置400に誤り発生要因を推定する手段を設けていたが、本発明はこれに限定されるものではなく、パケットの送信側の無線通信装置に設けてもよい。
誤り発生要因のうちいずれが支配的な誤り発生要因であるか判定する判定ステップと、当該判定した誤り発生要因に応じて再送パケットの形成方式又は送信方式を切り換えるステップと、を具備するようにした。
Claims (13)
- MIMO通信における再送制御方法であって、
誤り発生要因としてストリーム間干渉および雑音のうちいずれが支配的な誤り発生要因であるか判定する判定ステップと、
当該判定した誤り発生要因に応じて再送パケットの形成方式又は送信方式を切り換えるステップと、
を具備する再送制御方法。 - 前記判定ステップにおいては、チャネル推定値の時間変動が所定レベル以上であるときに前記ストリーム干渉が支配的であると判定し、いずれかのストリームに関し受信強度が所定レベルに満たないときに前記雑音が支配的であると判定する請求項1記載の再送制御方法。
- MIMO通信方式を適用する無線通信装置であって、
誤り発生要因としてストリーム間干渉および雑音のうちいずれが支配的な誤り発生要因であるか判定する誤り発生要因推定手段と、
前記誤り発生要因に関する情報、又は前記誤り発生要因に対応する再送パケットの形成方式若しくは送信方式に関する情報を生成する報告情報生成手段と、
を具備する無線通信装置。 - 前記誤り発生要因推定手段は、チャネル推定値の時間変動が所定レベル以上であるときに前記ストリーム干渉が支配的であると判定し、いずれかのストリームに関し受信強度が所定レベルに満たないときに前記雑音が支配的であると判定する請求項3記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記誤り発生要因推定手段は、前記支配的な誤り発生要因の判定結果として、ストリーム間干渉と雑音との誤り発生における影響の大きさの比率を算出する請求項3記載の無線通信装置。
- 再送制御方式としてHARQを適用する無線通信装置であって、
前記判定した誤り発生要因がストリーム間干渉であり、かつ、前記形成方式により形成された再送パケットがセルフデコーダブル形式であるときに、前記再送パケットのみにより復号を行う復号手段を具備する請求項3記載の無線通信装置。 - 前記復号手段は、前記形成方式により形成された再送パケットがセルフデコーダブル形式でないときに、前記再送パケットに対応する以前に送信されたパケットから求めた尤度値に1以下の正の値を掛けた値と、当該再送パケットから求める尤度値とを合成して復号する請求項6記載の無線通信装置。
- 再送制御方式としてHARQを適用する無線通信装置であって、
前記判定した誤り発生要因が雑音であるときに、前記再送パケットに対応する以前に送信されたパケットから求めた尤度値と、当該再送パケットから求める尤度値とを合成して復号する復号手段を具備する請求項3記載の無線通信装置。 - MIMO通信方式を適用する無線通信装置であって、
送信したパケットの誤り発生要因としてストリーム間干渉及び雑音のうちいずれが支配的な誤り発生要因であるかを示す情報、又は前記誤り発生要因に対応する再送パケットの形成方式若しくは送信方式に関する情報を受信する受信手段と、
前記受信した情報に基づいて、前記再送パケットの形成方式又は送信方式を切り換える切り換え手段と、
を具備する無線通信装置。 - 前記誤り発生要因が雑音であるときに、以前に送信したパケットのパンクチャリングパタン若しくはレピティションパタン、又はインタリーブパタンと異なるパタンを用いて前記再送パケットを形成する形成手段を具備する請求項9記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記誤り発生要因が雑音であるときに、以前に送信したパケットの変調シンボルへのマッピングパタン又はアンテナへのストリーム割り当てと異なる様式に切り換えて前記再送パケットを送信する送信手段を具備する請求項9記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記受信した情報に基づいて、前記再送パケットの送信と、他のユーザへのパケット送信との実行順序を切り換える他の切り換え手段を具備する請求項9記載の無線通信装置。
- 前記受信した情報に基づいて、前記再送パケットのみ送信し、他のパケットについての送信を見送る送信手段を具備する請求項9に記載の無線通信装置。
