Description
本発明の別の目的は、この種のピストン、シリンダ・ユニットの高圧ピストン、またはこの種の制御弁または噴射弁を使用する方法を提供することである。
Claims (11)
- 大型ディーゼル・エンジンの燃焼チャンバに燃料及び水を噴射するために制御弁または噴射弁で用いるシリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストンであり、
前記シリンダ・ユニット(15)内の前記高圧ピストンが、ピストン(20)およびシリンダ・ボア(19)を含み、前記ピストン(20)が前記シリンダ・ボア内に可動に配置されている前記高圧ピストンにおいて、
前記ピストン(20)の表面領域または前記シリンダ・ボア(19)の表面領域が溝(22)を有し、前記溝の間隔が前記ピストン(20)の低圧側よりも高圧側で大きくなっており、
前記ピストン(20)の表面領域または前記シリンダ・ボア(19)の表面領域が耐摩耗性保護層を有し、該耐摩耗性保護層が耐水性であることを特徴とするシリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストン。 - 前記保護層が不活性である、請求項1に記載されたシリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストン。
- 前記保護層が、ダイアモンド状炭素(DLC)、またはAl2O3、SiO2、TiN、Si3N4、SiC、TiC、WCのうちの1種若しくは複数種のセラミック材料、または硬質クロムで形成され、あるいは前記材料のうちの1種を含む請求項1または請求項2に記載されたシリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストン。
- 前記溝の幅が120〜500μmであり、または、前記溝の間隔が100〜2000μmである、請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載されたシリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストン。
- 前記ピストン(20)がニードル弁(21)と結合されており、または、前記ピストン(20)がニードル弁(21)を含み、または、前記ピストン(20)と前記ニードル弁が単一品として形成されている請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載されたシリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストン。
- 前記ピストン(20)と前記シリンダ・ボア(19)が接触する箇所で、前記ピストンおよび前記シリンダ・ボアがそれぞれ異なる材料組織を有する請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載されたシリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストン。
- 前記ピストン(20)と前記シリンダ・ボア(19)が接触する箇所で、前記ピストンおよび前記シリンダ・ボアが実質的に同一の電気化学的電位を有する材料で形成されている請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか1項に記載されたシリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストン。
- 燃焼機関の燃焼室内に液体を噴射するための制御弁または噴射弁において、
前記制御弁または噴射弁(4.1、4.2、10、10.1a〜c、10.2a〜c)が、請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか1項に記載されたシリンダ・ユニット(15)内の高圧ピストンを含む、燃焼機関の燃焼室内に液体を噴射するための制御弁または噴射弁。 - 前記液体の噴射が、コモンレール原理による流体の噴射である請求項8に記載された燃焼機関の燃焼室内に液体を噴射するための制御弁または噴射弁。
- 請求項8または請求項9に記載された制御弁または噴射弁(4.1、4.2、10、10.1a〜c、10.2a〜c)を含む燃焼機関。
- 燃焼機関の燃焼室内に水を噴射するための、請求項1から請求項7までのいずれか1項に記載されたシリンダ・ユニット(15)内の高圧ピストンまたは請求項8若しくは請求項9に記載された燃焼機関の燃焼室内に液体を噴射するための制御弁若しくは噴射弁の使用において、
前記水の噴射が、前記燃焼機関によって放出される排ガスのNOx含有量を低下させるために行なわれる、前記シリンダ・ユニット内の高圧ピストンまたは制御弁若しくは噴射弁の使用。
