Claims (4)
- ゴム材料により略円筒状に形成され、衝突荷重を受けて軸心方向に圧縮されるとともに周壁の少なくとも一部が全周に亘って外方に膨出するよう座屈変形して、衝撃を緩和する緩衝器であって、
軸心方向の一方の端に固定側への取付部が、また、他方の端には衝突荷重の受け部が、それぞれ設けられ、
上記周壁は、その外径及び内径が前記一方の端から他方の端まで軸心方向に減少するように、且つ、その厚みが前記一方の端から他方の端まで軸心方向に略一定か或いは減少するように形成されており、
上記受け部は、上記周壁の他方の端部と一体成形された端壁部で構成されており、
上記端壁部は、その厚さが上記周壁の厚さよりも薄く、且つ、半径方向外方に向かって徐々に厚みが増す傾斜面を有するように形成されており、
前記座屈変形の際に周壁が折れ曲がっても圧縮反力が低下しないよう、その折れ曲がる部位における周壁の厚みの外径に対する比率を所定値以上に設定したことを特徴とする緩衝器。 - 周壁の外周面の軸心に対する傾斜角度は、一方の端の付近では0〜5°の範囲内にあり、他方の端の付近では前記一方の端の付近以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の緩衝器。
- 周壁の内周面の軸心に対する傾斜角度は、一方の端の付近では0〜5°の範囲内にあり、他方の端の付近では前記一方の端の付近以上であることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の緩衝器。
- 周壁の厚みは、一方の端の付近では軸心方向に略一定であり、そこから上方に向けて徐々に減少していることを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1つに記載の緩衝器。
